APPEARANCE
Ezui has short ebony-coloured hair, and purple eyes. She wears a elegant, black and purple kimono, and has highly detailed flowers inscribed into the kimono. The kimono was woven from a really durable, and comfortable material. It is reliable in combat, and doesn't get in the way, or restrict movement. She also has below average height for someone her age, four feet eleven inches.

PERSONALITY
A sadistic and inhumane person, but she is willing to do whatever it takes to complete a mission that was assigned to her, this includes abandoning her comrades if they are in trouble, and she believes that by taking the time to help them, it could jeopardize the mission, in other words it's not a risk worth taking. The way Ezui is, is the outcome of the tragedy that she went through when she was alive.
HISTORY
Pre-Shinigami
When Ezui wasn't a shinigami, she used to live a happy life with her mother and father. Her father was known for getting violent when drunk at times, the only exception to their happy family life. Ezui was always cheerful and always there to help out her mother around her house, study and go to school. Her life was what any average fourteen year olds would be like.
Until one night she woke up to her mother and drunken father fighting. Ezui went down stairs and saw her mother being beaten up by her father, she tried to stop him but her father decided to punch Ezui around her face, and yelled to her "You being born was the worst thing to happen to me. You have no talent, you have no value. So you might as well be dead." Ezui remained on the floor crying after hearing the painful words that he said.
He continued to beat her until she couldn't move anymore. He then revealed himself as a Fullbringer, using his power to kill her mother, by cutting her head off. He then turned to Ezui with a sadistic smile, then stabbed Ezui in the heart with a small blade and decided to leave her to die in a pool of her mother's and her own blood.
Shinigami
Ezui was assigned to squad eleven, by the council, Ezui was pleased that she was put in squad eleven, because she wanted to focus at getting her skills with the blade better, her soul desire is to find a meaning and reason for her to existence. So she needs to get stronger and willing to do whatever it takes to get there, so one day she can take down powerful foes, and be wanted and needed by someone.
