It was the first morning of the first fallen snow. Winter was finally here, and the streets of Karakura was filled with that white powder that seems to get everyone into the brightest of moods. Mai awoke in her new home, centered in the Karakura town home districts. It was a nice two story home, moved in after she had left her apartment. It was time to upgrade, and this home was ripe for the picking. She made her morning coffee, enjoying every sip as she prepared her clothes for the outing today. She could not help it that Winter was probably the best season ever. She showered, as usual, put on her favorite perfume as she got dressed. Her blue short dress over white jeans was a complementary outfit for her new white parka. It was as warm as it was comfy, especially with the fuzzy neck line. She placed on her long boots and finally walked out of the house.
The first part of the day was to, of course, do a little Christmas shopping, Mai was always a sucker for gift giving, in fact, if it weren't for the gift that she had received she wouldn't have, what Seran classified it as, her fullbring. The thought of giving back on this holiday season brought a warmth in her heart that normally would not even be there. The rest of the year, Mai was almost grinch-like, and who could blame her? She had every kind of love she ever had ripped from her. Her father, her first boyfriend back in high school who tragically died. Her book collection that she had started as a young child, only to pay witness to her house burning down. And the latest love, Asuka...
She didn't want to think about it, she only had one goal in mind; bring some happiness in a few kids... who knows who might be the next fullbring inspired by a gift. As quickly as Mai walked into the toy store, she walked right back out, with a rolling hamper, her notebook in hand. She quickly walked to the park, where she knew where tons of parents and kids were; planting the basket right next to her and standing atop of a bunch, she began to shout...
I just came back from Santa's workshop, and he told me, "I have too many toys to give out, Mai, would you please help me?" I said yes, and he gave me a box full of toys.
Mai opened the top, quickly reached in and pulled out a yoyo and tossed it to the first kid who walked by. Little by little, kids began to line up, and this is where Mai became creative.
Oh no, my box is empty... OH WAIT! I know, how about I send a letter to Santa? He said that this box goes straight to his workshop. So, Timmy what would you like for christmas? ... a Pikachu? Sure thing!
Mai opened her notebook, pulled her pencil from her hair and wrote, "Pikachu Plush Doll," onto it. She tore the page from the note book, stuck her hand into her basket, and like a magician pulling a rabbit from out of a hat, there it was, a brand new Pikachu plushy. As she handed it off to the child, more began to arrive. There was something about this holiday spirit that brought out the best in her.

Winter was here, and Fryst was absolutely overjoyed with it! She always loved the cold, some people looked at her crazy as she walked along the sidewalk outside the mall, in a cute skirt with some leggings underneath, some fashionable fur boots and a vest with a turtleneck underneath, but no coat, no scarf. Her regular blonde braid on her left shoulder as she walked looking around with ehr mirthful crystal blue eyes. She made a right turn into the mall shaking some of the snow out of her hair and looking around she was amazed by the large crowds. She didn't quite understand the fascination with this whole christmas thing, after all the date or around the date was used by the Pagans long before the whole christian revolution.
It was often done in history however, one regime uses the previous ones things so as to convert its followers easier. Fryst didn't really care about it, what she cared was this sense of charity it gave off. everyone seemed happier and nicer, even if they were just acting it was still nice to see, fake or not. So as she began walking through the mall her senses picked up on something it felt like a fullbring and close, in the toy store? She made a right hand turn and and seen her, a blonde woman like herself pulling toys out of a bag. Fryst couldn't help but smile after all at someone using a spiritual power to bring happiness to the masses. After a moment she walked up to the girl, not wanting to alarm her.
"That was a really nice thing you did miss, it's not often I see someone using their powers for good, and not themselves you know?"
{Spoiler}Name: Hiding Spirituality Type: Supplemental Range: Self Class: Hollow Techniques Tier: 2 Description: By activating this ability the user is able to materialize their body to a point of being able to be seen by regular humans. The user does this by forming a permeable shell around themselves that is visible to humans and mortals. The technique can be activated mentally, and deactivated mentally. It has no other effect other than that and remains in effect until dispelled. While using this she also appears in sense and sigh as a regular human, hiding her small hollow hole above her navel under clothing.
One by one, these kids asked her for some of the random of things. One kid wanted a toy Light Saber, another one wanted a video game, and another wanted a Bugatti. She rose her brow, writing the words Buggati RC, popping out with a RC Buggati car, handing it off to the kid as he turned and ran off. Mai was about to pack it in before she was approached by another woman. Now, Mai immediately detected that this person did have some gifts, as noted by the sudden hint of freshly baked bread that she has learned to belong to gifted humans. It was odd that she was able to tell these things not by a sixth sense, but also by her nose. She didn't really think much of it, just something unique to her sensory. The woman with the blonde, and braided hair spoke to her silently, informing her that she could tell what she was doing. Mai just smiled and nodded, picking up her notebook once more.
Well, in all honesty, it gives me a different kind of inspiration. As a writer, I tend to tap into different moods for different stories. In either case, you never asked me what you wanted from Santa this year? By the way, you can call me Mai.
She said as she patiently awaited for this blue-eyed woman to respond. Of course, Mai wasn't about to hide her abilities after already being spotted, and she of course, hid the ability within the bag, as it was more conceivable and more mystical. There weren't many spiritually aware humans hanging around kid parks either way, thus, her openness was a bit more... out there. Mai had a chance to quickly take a look at her new company, noting details, and curves, and well, just a bit jealous of that hour glass figure.

She couldn't help but smile brighter at the girls answer, a writer and she was helping all of these kids, even going so far as to ask fryst what she wanted? Well She really didn't want anything, nothing this girl could give her anyways, or could she. Fryst stifled a little giggle with her hand as she thought about how corny it was.
"There's nothing I want that you can pull out of that bag mai-chan, but as clitche as it may sound all I want is more friends and people to spend time with. It's rare I find someone so nice with powers like me, everyone these days are either trying to get in your pants or attacking you, so friends.. I want some friends..."
She smiled, and it's not like what she had said was untrue, as a matter of fact it was the closest thing to the truth she had said in a long time in reference to her friends, half of them did just want in her pants a prime example was Liam-kun. Sure he was nice be he outright stated it.. which was sort of disheartening but he was still nice.

She replied to the statement that everyone that would approach them were either trying to get into her pants or trying to kill her. In Mai's case, she encountered a sniper who had originally targeted Mai for assassination by some unknown organization, yet, then came to be some sort of convoluted lovers. The statement remained true, in either case, Mai was either being hit on, being hit on, or being watched 100 meters away from a sniper's scope. She closed her notebook when her present company only stated that she was looking for friends. Mai nodded, but knew very little of the luxury of friends and companions. It was difficult to even get close enough to somebody because every time she got close enough, things always tend to turn to the worse. Mai couldn't help but notice that she introduced herself, even giving her name out, yet... this woman did not extend the same courtesy. It was odd to state that one was looking for friendship when talking to somebody, and when a name was given, a name is return was not received.
This was something that kinda irked Mai a bit, she didn't let it show, being that there were some people who did make the exchange, albeit, most of these people she only saw once for a brief amount of time, but yet, if she wanted to, she'd be able to recall them by name. Regardless, Mai opened her notebook again, writing some notes down, and even making quick sketches of her present company.
Fryst blinked for a moment, she hadn't really considered both who would want to get in the pants of someone they were trying to kill? That's like... freaky. Then the girl pointed out that in fact Fryst had forgot to introduce herself.. crap this happened all the time, she would get ahead of herself and forget the most basic steps. She would blush a little embarassed and do a short bow.
"Oh! Fryst! Fryst Dronning, so sorry that was really rude of me..."
She stood back up a little bashfully fidgeting for a moment, not sure what to say now that she had already goofed up the beginning of the whole "Hi be my friend" thing she had going...
"So ummm do you work here or... are you just sorta doing a charity thing?"
Fryst looked her up and down curiously now looking for a uniform or name tag and found neither which led her to believe that she didn't work here... why did she even ask? Ahhh she is miffing this all up!

Its perfectly fine, its great to meet you, Fryst-chan.
Mai offered a smile, bowing back with a respectful yet playful tone. She stood back up, adjusting her top a bit before tending back to her stuff. With all the commotion, she would casually begin walking signalling Fryst to follow, in a kind and friendly way, of course. Mai held tightly to her pencil and notebook, readying to use it again soon.
Neither. I don't really "work" or anything like that, and charity seems to be so indirect. "Give us stuff so we can give what you gave to somebody else and be recognized for it.?" Nah, I rather just cut off the middle man, and be a personal Santa. It may sound weird, but... I am big ol' weirdo.
She gave a open mouth smile, almost too proud of her last statement. It wasn't exactly a lie, she was odd, and very unconventional. Mai usually had a colder tone, and a darker sense of mind, however, she definitely had times of joy, and happiness, and tapping into those moments and experiences did wonders for her inspiration. As they approached the next area in the playground, finding an empty bench and taking a seat. She wondered if Fryst would join her or stay standing, in either case, Mai would continue.
I just don't know. When I see a child, I don't want to even imagine or even think about if they are going through some trouble at home. Think about the number of single parent homes, divorcing parents, or if any of these kids are even orphans. Something like that.... can be hard on a kid.
Mai took hold of her pencil, starting to write again.
But, if I can make a kid forget their troubles... even for one day... I know I made a difference in that kid's life... as fleeting as it may be.

~Fryst Dronning AL-A~
Fryst followed her with a smile, not really looking for anything in particular. She wasn't worried, because at the end of the day, she didn't feel this girl as a threat at all, if anything she was probably the kindest soul Fryst had met in months in Karakura town. So the arrancar in hiding followed this girl around as she went from area to area in the playground smiling as she listened to her kind hearted words, no middle man and a personal santa ya? Sounded like a good idea.
"Well Mai-chan that is probably the kindest thing I've heard leave someones mouth in this city yet. Really I mean is there anything I can do to repay you? for these kids I mean, I don't have some magical power to make things appear out of thin air, but I have a knack for helping people if they want my help.."
She tilted her head looking at mai wondering if she was gonna take her up on her offer or not. At the end of the day it was never about who wanted what, it was about the happiness of getting something you never expected and if Fryst could do that, for this girl maybe just maybe she could show her how much what she was doing was appreciated.

To be perfectly honest, Fryst, I'm not always this nice. I can be selfish, I can be mean, I'm a very cold person. Well, to make a long story short; my gift was a gift in itself. At the end of the day, you just gotta do what you feel like.
Mai looked up over to Fryst once again, wearing a smile that she wasn't sure was even convincing of its authenticity. Mai was tired, and there was evidence of it on her face. The fact of the matter was that it was hard for her to even sleep anymore. Her mind was constantly on alert, and she didn't know what would be around the corner. Her senses often betrayed her, and her assumptions weren't always correct, but when somebody was about to pull a gun or a knife on her, she didn't even need to see the weapon to know that her life was in danger. Maybe this was the curse that she brought on to herself. Maybe this was what happened when she stirred that pot...
I don't even know why I am telling you this Fryst, but there's a certain innocence about you... that makes me feel safe. I shouldn't even be alive... and I'm tired... I just want to feel like home again. No matter what I do... I can't get there.
She lowered her head again, Mai already knew what was going to come next... the questions... all the questions. Mai couldn't help it... it slipped out, and now that she had said it, she couldn't stop it, she couldn't stop as her eyes watered up. Mai couldn't keep up the facade... She didn't want to be seen this way, she didn't want people to randomly think wrong of the situation.
Before I lose it... Fryst-chan. I just need a favor... I need you to say yes to the next question I'm about to ask you... do you want to play a game with me?
