Life growing up in Cairo Egypt wasn't exactly all it may have been for others, seeing ghosts and the tall monstrosities that haunted the streets at night made for terrible nightmares as a child. He couldn't explain what he saw to his parents because neither of them could see what he saw, his siblings couldn't either and in fact nobody seemed to be able too. So for a long time, he chalked it up as just extremely vivid hallucinations and tried, for the most part, to ignore them. While his nightmares persisted, he began to notice other things as well. The ground shifted at his feet whenever he was running from one of those things, human-looking people wearing black robes seemed to appear out of nowhere to kill the large beasts though they never acknowledged his pressence even when he spoke. It wasn't until he was about 15 that he finally realized he was the reason these beasts appeared, the reason the sands and very earth beneath him shifted to aid him. It was a rather traumatic event to say the least when he discovered his powers.
It was very early in the morning, around 3 A.M. to be exact, when Jumala heard something... A terrifying roar that he could remember with ease. He pulled his jacket on as he ran outside, staring up as his eyes went wide. He'd never seen it before, a large imposing creature, it was way larger than anything he'd ever seen... Taller than even the Pyramids themselves. As he stood their wide eyed, he saw something beginning to form at it's mouth, a large red sphere. What was this? Was it getting ready to attack or something? He heard a deafening sound as it fired and he raised his arms to cover his head. Sand erupted from the ground in front of the projectile and hardend extremely quickly, when he looked up he saw naught but the massive sand wall infront of him and could hear as something smashed against it. He couldn't truly explain why, but what he did next simply felt natural... Almost like he was doing it off of instinct alone. Raising his hands once more he did a quick spin before shoving his palm forward and a tidal wave of sand erupted from in front of him and smashed against the lower half of the tall creature, sending it hurtling to the ground. He placed his hand on the ground for but a moment before pulling up as though he were pulling on the rope of a lawn mower, Sand erupted from beneath the now fallen creature and engulfed it. He heard the muffled roar as the sand seemed to go "limp" and sink back into the ground, heavy panting came from Jumala as he fell to his knees and stared at the ground.
Did he... Just command the sands themselves? He had to know... Slowly he raised his hand from the sand, a flat palm and his fingers outstretched. The Sand seemed to follow, slowly being pulled upwards. He... He could command the Sands themselves! He FINALLY had a way to protect his Family from these horrific creatures! A smirk on his face as he stood panting heavily before turning to return to his bed... But he knew he wouldn't sleep, with as much adrenline as he had flowing through him it was simply impossible.
You stand at the Gates to Ascension and Salvation.
A voice came from behind him and as he whipped around to see who it was, she saw the bronzed beauty before him. She stood around 5'4 in comparison to his 6'3, Clad in shining golden armor and wielding a large golden spear in her hand. Her attire... It was like something an ancient Pharoh might wear but... She was FEMALE, To his knowledge there was never a female Pharoh aside from one and... She was most certainly NOT her.
Who're you and where am I!? Answer me! This was his demand of the woman, whoever she was she was no Pharoh and he owed her no loyalty. My name is Suna no Kisaki, and you, as I said before, stand at the Gates to Ascension and Salvation. Again, more riddles. He growled lowly to himself. You intentionally ignore my question, Suna no Kisaki, What do you mean 'Ascension and Salvation'? Ascension for what? And for who's Salvation? The girl simply smiled at him casually before she responded I shall give you the simple answer for now. Both of your questions have one answer, You. These are the Gates to not only your own Salvation, but your own Ascension. What!? The look on his face showed he was clearly dumbfounded by this.
You're clearly confused so I shall endevour to explain. What you see before you is what you will come to know as an 'Inner World', thi sis where I reside. I, am what you might refer to as a Spirit Guide though the Shinigami know me as a 'Zanpakuto Spirit'. When you awaken, you'll realize what this means. You seek strength, strength enough to defend your Family, I can provide that strength to you if you accept. I am as much apart of you, as you are of me but again, only if you accept my help. He stared at her as though he couldn't believe any of this but... Something about her felt familiar. Fine, if what you say is true... Pro- He was cut off as a blast of the sand around him erupted forward and slammed into him, knocking him flat on his back. I am not here to play games, Jumala, I am here to offer you help. You can either accept or deny. Regardless, please make your decision fast as my patience grows thin. When you leave this place, you will have to find out how to contact me on your own whether that is from the Shinigami or on your own I care not. Jumala rubbed the back of his head as he stood up and looked up at her, He wasn't sure if she spoke the truth but... It seemed he had little choice. If she was offering her strength and help to defend his Family, he didn't care. Alright then, I'll accept. If you say you'll help me defend my family, then you can't be evil... But you're going to have to explain why you have the garments of a Pharoh. In due time, For now... I shall start by explaining who I am, what this world is... And why you have been chosen.

Name: Sōkatsui (Blue Fire, Crash Down) * Number: 33 Tier: III Type: Hadō Range: Long Incantation: Ye Lord! Mask of flesh and bone, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, Upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws! Description: Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to Shakkahō, but over a wider area and with more power.

Name: Shitotsu Sansen (Beak-Stab Triple Beam) * Number: 30 Tier: III Type: Bakudō Range: Medium Incantation: Unknown Description: The user forms a golden triangle with their fingers, after which the tips of the triangle shoot out three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in a shape of a perfect triangle.

Name: Hakufuku (White Crawl) * Number: Unknown Tier: III Type: Bakudō Range: Short Incantation: N/A Description: Hinamori Momo uses this Kidō while imprisoned to knock out a guard and destroy everything within a certain radius of herself. The anime suggests that it is a binding Kidō, but doesn't number it.

Name: Tremor Senses Class: Reiryoku Tech Tier: III Type: Sensing Range: 100 Meter Radius along the ground, 15 Meters off the ground Description: Tremor Sense allows Jumala, whilst on the ground, to sense almost anything around him as it moves. Because everything causes some form of vibration, while he has contact with the ground he is able to sense almost anything around him.
Name: Varmakalai Class: Hakuda Tier: N/A Type: Martial Arts Style Range: Self Description:Varmakalai is a noble-taught martial art for the self-defense of those in the top hierarchy of India. Varmakalai is a brutal type of fighting, utilizing the pressure-points of an enemy to dislodge or kill them within a few strikes, requiring the pin-point precision of a professional dart thrower.
Varmakalai, while incredibly lethal, has one huge trade-off, and that is the fitness of the user. If a user is too strong, pressing down on acute pressure points will sometimes do nothing because of the spread out pressing, the training that they give to new users of Varmakalai requires a lithe, quick body and the power to put pressure down on a dot, rather then in a large area.
Varmakalai, in scripts, acknowledges 108 base 'points' which can induce pain, 12 death points that can incur death if pressed hard enough, and 98 touch points that, while dealing no damage, induce much more pain then the base points.
Name: Touch of Damage Class: Hakuda Tier: N/A Type: Offensive Range: Self Description: Touch of Damage, or a base 'marma', is a powerful strike to any point on the body that is open. These jabs, while not being points that induce damage and pain, are the base attacks for someone utilizing Varmakalai, and rather then bruising or dealing blunt force damage, instead split the flesh of the target like a knife, the fingers capable of rending directly into bone if done twice in a row.
Name: Touch of Death Class: Hakuda Tier: N/A Type: Offensive Range: Self Description: While seemingly powerful, this technique is rather a deceptive technique. Concentrating their energy to the points of their fingers, the user can completely numb out an area with a simple touch, leaving the opponent to believe that the user actually killed off every cell in that point. The numbness of an arm, for example, will leave it paralyzed for two posts before the opponent can regain control of it.
Name: The Emperor's Edge Class: Weapon Skill Tier: VI Type: Offensive Range: Self Description:Bringing his weapon in a downward swing, Jumala sends out an pulse in the same shape similar to a Getsuga (Closest possible reference). This emits a loud sound similar to that of a Bala when released however travels at Cero speed. (Granted for 2nd Squad Representative)
Name: The Emperor's Shield Class: Weapon Skill Tier: III Type: Defensive Range: 10 Meter Radius around Jumala Description:Using his earthern surroundings, Jumala raises a floating shield around himself. It is the size of the average kite shield and can move around Jumala at Bala speed. While this shield cannot be destroyed, any attack that would normally simply burrow right through it will cause the material the shield is made of to act like smoke and move around the attack, leaving it unhindered. (Granted for 2nd Squad Representative)
Name: Earthern Transit Class: Stepping Tier: -- Type: Stepping Range: N/A Description:The method of high speed movement in his human form, Jumala simply vanishes into the ground and can move at stepping speeds during this movement. Form Used In: Human Only
Name: Sand Speed Class: Stepping Tier: -- Type: Stepping Range: N/A Description:Useable in any of his forms, Using this causes Jumala's body to simply burst into what appears to be sand, the sand itself seeming to fall and vanish before Jumala reappears at his destination. When reforming, it seems like the sand he burst into 'reforms' into Jumala himself at the desired location. (Granted for 2nd Squad Representative) Form Used In: Any
Name: Shunpo (Flash Steps) Class: Stepping Type: Stepping Range: N/A Tier: I Description: A movement technique that allows the user to move extremely quickly over short distances. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. Therefore what determines the level of skill in a user for Shunpo is best characterized by how fast one can get from A to B in the least amount of steps.

Name: Total Control Class: Release Tier: III Type: Passive Range: Self Description:Total Control gives Jumala complete and utter control of his earthen surroundings, allowing him to control any form of substance that is made naturally within his element. (I.E. If it's base element is fire, He can't control it. However for something like Metal, who's base element would be considered Earth, he can) There are very few who can control this better than he can, and fewer still who can even attempt to fight his dominance over it.
Name: Earthern Dome Class: Release Tier: V Type: Defensive Range: 20 Meter Radius; Focal point is Jumala Speed: Cero Description:Encasing himself and his immediate surroundings, Jumala summons a spherical dome around himself with enough strength to block almost anything from breaching it. For it's duration, he can 'renew' it's defenses each post, however each post he does this cuts down the duration for which it can remain. Attacks and techniques with a power of less than IV will not damage it's durability. Tier V will damage it and lower it's duration by 1. Tier VI have the potential to break through it, however it cannot damage the occupants.
Name: Earthern Barrier Class: Release Tier: V Type: Defensive Range: 50 Meters Verticle; 25 meters horizontal Speed: Cero Description:Earthern Barrier erects a massive shield, similar to Danku but much larger. This barrier forms at Cero speed and hardens immediately upon the beginning of it's formation making this by far one of Jumala's Strongest defenses.
Name: The Emperor's Judgement Class: Release Tier: VI Type: Offensive Range: 100 Meter Radius Description:The Emperor's Judgement calls forth the very sands of the earth, first converting any land around him into Sand before rising forth to surround his target. Once surrounded, it gives the opponent no chance to escape as it blocks all possible escape routes unless they use some sort of Teleportation technique to escape it. This technique works similar to Byakuya's Senkei, however instead of cutting it's opponent to ribbons, The sand merely crushes the target into oblivion.
Name: The Emperor's Blessing Class: Release Tier: VI Type: Defensive Range: Self Description:The Ultimate Defense. The Emperor surrounds himself in a very thick, yet light, layer of Sand. Forming a protective barrier around him against almost any attack immaginable.
Name: The Emperor's Will Class: Release Tier: V Type: Binding Range: Target within 50 Meters Description:Summoning forth the sand created by his Judgement, The Emperor's Will causes that very Sand to surge forth once more to encase his opponent from the head down in a very thick layer of Sand. This Sand acts as a Tier 5 binding and prevents the user from moving, talking, breathing, from doing almost anything. In essense, this acts as a paralysis and a blind. With his opponent completely entombed in sand, it allows him to immediately crush his opponent with his Judgement provided it's not on Cooldown. If this is done, he cannot use anymore techs of any tier for 15 posts.
Almost the complete opposite of Jumala, Suna no Kisaki is a very blunt and very proactive personality, She prefers to simply get things done as quickly as possible and does not play games. Bordering on arrogant with how 'uncaring' she can seem, Suna no Kisaki hates when people try to stall regardless of the reason. If you refuse to simply get the job done, her patience wears thin very quickly.
Suna no Kisaki also takes inspiration from Jumala's heritage, acting very much in a 'Pharoh-esk' manner, even going so far as to punish Jumala himself when she feels he's stepped out of line. Such was the case when they first met, and he questioned her to prove herself and she simply tossed him around like a puppet on strings.
One should not, however, mistake this behavior for rudeness. In fact it's quite the opposite, She may act as a Pharoh might, however she always has the best intentions and as such should not be taken as arrogance or rudeness.
Name: The Empress' Will Class: Release Tier: II Type: Passive Range: 25 Meters Description:The Empress' Will automatically turns any solid object who's base components are Earthen into sand within 25 Meters, This Sand is used as a fuel source for the rest of Jumala's Shikai Abilities.
Name: The Empress' Decree Class: Release Tier: III Type: Summoning Range: 25 Meters Description:The Empress' Decree allows Jumala to summon various objects to his disposal. The following is a list of all the things that're possible to create, along with a brief description.
Soldier - Jumala can create a maximum of 4 of these and each one lasts for 6 posts individually. Once 4 in total have been summoned, no more can be summoned until 2 posts after the first one is either destroyed or goes away naturally. These Soldiers can inflict tier 1 damage and can be commanded individually, they have a durability equal to tier 1. They draw their attacks from the Weapon Skill Mastery. Barricade - Jumala can create up a Barricade up to 10 feet by 10 feet from the ground, this barricade is located on the ground so it cannot be moved into the air. This can however be bent in order to provide protection from arieal attacks. It has a durability equal to a tier 3 however lasts only one post. Hand - Jumala can create a massive hand that has the same height as he is, 6'3. This hand has a durability equal to a tier 1 however draws from the H2H Mastery.
Name: The Empress' Blessing Class: Release Tier: IV Type: Defensive Range: 1 Target within 25 Meters Description:Similar to The Emperor's Blessing, this bestows a hardened plating around the target and gives them a durability equal to Tier 4. This plating lasts for 6 rounds with a cooldown of 12.
Name: The Empress' Judgement Class: Release Tier: IV Type: 100 Meters in all directions from the ground Range: The Empress' Judgement calls forth all sand within 100 meters in all directions of Jumala, entombing the target in an extremely thick layer of sand and trapping them there with no way to escape once it entombs the target except teleportation. This lasts for 6 rounds and drains all air from the victim in order to rapidly suffocate the target and cause them to breathe in the sand. Because of this, if the target is entombed by this technique if they cannot escape within the 6 rounds the death of anyone caught within this technique at this point is almost assured. Description:
