I'm the guilty (T/INV)

Tatsuya was about to travel on a journey of self exploration and of the fourth squad hospital no doubt thanks to his lack of skill with what he was training... kido. That damned useless stuff was well useful and he didn't know jack about it. Anything he had learned in the academy had been quickly thrown away once he had graduated thanks to his own reckless abandonment of throwing himself into his zanjutsu training. Now here he was.. back at it again un fortunately. He was here today to learn the very first kido that a new pup in the academy learns.. sho. 


Something so simple and yet so difficult for a slouch such as him, well less of a slouch and more of a.. well man of priorities that had been rearranged. When the captain of Akane-chan's guard had asked if Tatsuya knew any kido he was appaled to learn that the shinigami knew absolutely not one. He then promptly shoved a book that had "beginner kido for 1st year academy students" into the hapless swordsmans hands and sent him here.. for this very purpose. 


So he opened the wretched book to Sho and read the description, and sighed. He could do the same thing with a sword was this really necessary? Well yes.. because he had been ordered to learn the entire damned book! ugh.. it was gonna be a long week.


Without further delay he began reading off the incantation for the kido and finished it with the standard.

"Hado number one, Sho!"

The effect that followed was.. well less than desired. Instead of well anything happening.. nothing happened at all. Tatsuya looked around suspiciously and then at the practice dummy, as if someone had stole his kido from him. He sighed and thought about it, he hadn't exactly focused anything at all. So maybe if he did that it would work? He shrugged and this time as he read off the incantation he focused reiatsu into his hand that he was thrusting forward.

"Hado number one, Sho!"

As soon as the final syllable left his mouth something happened.. something most unexpected. The poor straw hatted shinigami found himself thrown backwards completely as the kido backfired, rolling to a stop against a tree behind him. He groaned for a moment,, ugh that one hurt. Like an old man without his cane the rather young shinigami stood up and shook the dirt off himself from said rolling and walked back over to the book, picked it up and threw it back into the tree, completely frustrated before he.. walked back over to the tree and picked it up again cursing under his voice. He rattled off the incantation and finished it again with his normal thing, focusing this time on pushing the reiatsu out from himself.

"Hado number one, Sho!"

This time it actually worked.. sort of. A small .. like very small burst of reiatsu shot out and hit the dummy. He smiled a small amount, hey now this could actually work. He rattled off the incantation again.

"Hado number one, Sho!"

This time it worked perfectly, not one issue at all! He smiled and nodded having memorized the incant and such. Time to move onto the next one.. oh shit it was the opposite.
