Too lazy to look up what the human equivalent of Hierro is, (I think it ends in Potency or some shit) but I'm talking about all three of them. I was thinking, instead of doing the damage they can tank based on tiers, wouldn't it make more sense to do it based on advantages?
Take mastered resilience for example. It can block up to tier III, if memory serves. But a tier III from an AL-A wouldn't be the same as one from an HL char. Yet an HL char with mastered resilience can tank the tier III from an AL-A.

I believe it is simply based on equal advantage, if it isn't clarified, I'll make sure that it is once we start working on the checks and such. Most Systems will be looked at and tinkered with before the end of the year.

I was always under the impression that the durability masteries were meant to be read as if they were up against equal advantages.

Without Tiers though there really isn't any scale of damage to work with. The mastery descriptions work based on equal advantages. So obviously someone with advantages over you would have an easier time working through your defensive mastery, while someone you have advantages over would find it harder.

But yeah, Tiers are values/scales of damage. Advantages are just how those values stack up against/scale with each other, or something along those lines. So yeah.
