HISTORY

After the great massacre of the Bounts, Waasa awoke in a dry, hot place, pestered with flies and dust, drowsy and weak. He had slept for many days before his awakening, long enough for him to regain his strength. As he left his bed, he found himself in a the shade of a crude wood and mud built hut, placing his bare feet to the cold floor, and making his way to the doorway, stepping out into the blinding sunlight to see that he had ended up in a village, which he would later find out was deep within the continent of Africa, to be found and revived by an indigenous tribe. He stayed with the tribe until he was well, and made friends with the people, even eventually beginning to learn their language and culture. Because of his inability to remember much after the explosion of the massacre, the village donned him with a name, Waasa, which meant Wandering Spirit in their language, and he lived in their village as Waasa for years and years. He apprenticed with the witch doctor of the tribe that had healed him upon his arrival to the village, and helped with the sick and injured to heal and have his people grow stronger.

Unlocking slowly his Bount powers, Waasa unknowingly grew stronger and immortal through absorbing the power and energy of the members of his tribe that passed away under their care. As he did, over years and years, he watched as his tribe grew older, watching his friends and loved ones die of age or war, and watched as the new generations grew from small children to men and women. It was when his teacher, the witch doctor, had finally grew ill and old, Waasa staying with him until his last breath, and taking his last spirit from the tribe into his body, that he decided that he had to leave the tribe and live out his name, the Wandering Spirit. He said his goodbyes, and promised his people that he would one day return, with new knowledge to pass on, and new stories to share.

From that day, Waasa traveled first across the expansive continent of Africa, from tribe to tribe, meeting new people, and learning new doctoral techniques, learning of the ways of healing from new sources. But he did not stop there, and traveled even further, southbound to Australia, and learning of the Aboriginee peoples ways, and the culture, before continuing up through Asia, and then Europe, across the the Americas, and eventually travelling an entire circuit across the earth, meeting all kinds of people and learning all sorts of knowledge and lore of the many colors and lands of people, making friends and close ties as he went, healing and bonding with each new culture, until he was ingrained in stories that their people told to their young of the wandering shaman, over hundreds of years. Centuries he traveled, and watched the world grow faster and faster, cities growing rapidly in places that he had known for generations. He loved traveling, and he loved to learn and meet new people, and he loved to help in any way he could, by either healing or by fighting off the evil spirits that plagued tribes, which he would later find out to be Hollows.

SEALED FORM

Bunka's sealed form is a small tiki-like totem, about the size of a thumb, that Waasa wears attatched to a leather cord necklace around his neck. It has a large mouth and eyes, similar to Bunka's released mask form.

DOLL PERSONALITY

Bunka and Waasa's relationship is best described as brothers, but in the sense that they quarrel and and butt heads, but not in a way of malice, knowing that they are close and have been for a long time, long enough that they can fight and knock heads without growing hate for the other. This being said, Bunka is a stubborn spirit, mostly wanting to do what he wants, and having to be forced to help by Waasa most of the time, and even then only doing things reluctantly. His goals and wants are almost the opposites of Waasa's, wanting to curse and pester people. He enjoys seeing people suffer, but only mildly, as in itching uncontrollably, or making people sweat buckets. Even if he acts like he wants malevolence and for people to experience the worst, in reality he has composure enough to reign in his powers because Waasa is the way he is and does the things he does, which is heal and help.

DOLL APPEARANCE

Bunka is a large Tiki-esque wooden carved mask, being 2 feet long with green and red painted markings, as well as green and red decorative leaf-feathers across the top of the mask. Bunka can either appear as a floating mask, or can extend out a body from the back of the mask that resembles a skeleton but instead of bone is made of carved wood. In the same way that his body can appear/retract into the mask, he can also pull out a spear and shield, in the shape of a pointed oval, or marquise, similar to an african shield.

Description: The victim is plagued with horrifying visions of distorted monsters and ghouls that surround them and attack them, causing the sensation of crippling pain and injury, even though in reality nothing is attacking them.

Description: Bunka infects the victim with a poison that floods their bodies. Initially, for the first post, the effects of the poison are irritation like a deep pain and burn in the muscles, and after being left untreated begins to cause crippling pain through the body, and finally after further infliction causes severe muscular damage that causes immense pain and weakens their strength severely.

First post: Irritation and mild pain
Second post: Crippling pain
Third post: Severe muscle damage

Poison stays in the system for max 6 posts.

For each advantage over victim, the post amount it takes for the poison to spread to it's final stages are reduced by one.
For each advantage less than victim, the post amount it takes for the poison to spread to it's final stages is increased by one.
