| OZ | We’re not in Kansas anymore | Ray, Bert, Terry, Judy & Jack|| Pill || Open Minded|| 97 |
APPEARANCE
Oz actually has 2 preferred bodies that it uses that it managed to escape with, each one used for a different purpose.
Bert is a body reminiscent of a Caucasian man in his mid-thirties with a fairly healthy build. He stands at 6’ 6” topped with neatly trimmed short blond hair. His sideburns turn into mutton chops, but he keeps his face otherwise completely shaved. He wears a pair of small circular glasses in front of his sharply blue eyes. He wears a vest and collared shirt with a bow tie at almost all times as well as black pressed slacks and well shined loafers.
Judy looks to be an African American woman in her early twenties, and generally has the air of a very nice young lady. Her facial features are petite and gentle, and her straight dark hair is usually fashionably done up to be out of her face, and if let down comes down just below her shoulder blades. She has dark brown eyes and a slim build with a respectable bust. Often wearing s sun dresses and flats, when ‘at work’ she wears more suitable business attire.

PERSONALITY
It is, at this point, I would like to bring up that Oz is in fact five different personalities operating in a sort of democratic life between the five of them. Each one is distinct from the others with separate worries, cares and feelings.
They all share a sort of inner world with five distinct sections that each one considers their ‘home’ and where they house their private thoughts and secrets. Ray lives in a corn field/maze of nearly infinite expanse and unending complexity that one could go insane trying to navigate. Bart lives in a cave in a mountain, but to venture in one would find velvet carpets, oak book cases, fine china and elegant paintings adorning the walls. Terry roams a little village with golden roads and small houses, barking and running from dawn till dusk. Judy lives in a small cottage on a farm with book cases lining the walls and golden fields of wheat coving the horizon in every direction. Jack lives, oddly, in a forest, the large apple trees covered in carvings of schematics and formulae that Jack writes as his private thoughts. Each private place is connected by a golden road leading the centre of their mind where they meet and have a shared consciousness. They have decided that in certain areas (the masteries and techs), they must pool their knowledge and experience for the others to use when active in the mortal realm, this pooled knowledge is represented as an emerald table at the centre of the cross roads, sigils and markings moving in the clear green table. Whoever stands on the table is the one in charge of the body, and everything they experience is viewable by the rest at the table though the one in charge can stop the feed if they wish. The four others can also forcibly remove the ‘in command’ mind if they act in a manner they all agree isn’t in their collective best interest.
Ray is a very happy and carefree individual, often joking around and playing pranks with little concern for consequences. She is a tomboy for certain, has little regard for personal space or other people on the whole. Finding a friend in her is entertaining to be certain, but one should be cautious not to trust her too much since she may suddenly find it hilarious to stab you in the knee. While flippant, she is strangely task oriented, always finishing to completion everything she sets out to do, even if it ends in failure to accomplish what she wanted, she’ll see it through to the end. She was designed to be a stealth and support oriented mod-soul, but was driven irrevocably insane by the merger of her pill with the rest of Oz.
Bert, or Albert as he prefers to be called, is a very refined figure and is often thought of as ‘stuck up’ by those who meet him. He enjoys the finer things in life and endeavours to prove that elegance and sophistication can supersede ones animalistic instincts. He is loyal to a fault, and very much believes in the idea of ‘ends justify the means’ within reason. While ‘stuck up’ he isn’t cold, being very fond of children and abhors violence unless it is strictly necessary. He also has one hell of a temper, something he considers his most dire flaw. When irked, insulted, slighted or otherwise upset, he will fly off the handle and kill or maim whatever it was that earned his ire, even tearing them apart with his bare hands and teeth if needed. He was meant for front line combat when he was made, and given a keen strategic mind, but refuses to merely be the weapon others fated him to be. The merger into the Oz pill however damaged his ability to keep his combat instincts under control, leading to his explosive and terrifying temper.
Terry is a dog with the personality of an energetic Cairn terrier, both fiercely loyal and endlessly defensive of his master (whoever he sees as his master anyway). Not the smartest of the residents of Oz, Terry is by far the most passionate, and while his methods of communication are understandable to the others in Oz, they remain simplistic.
Judy is probably the kindest of the group, being a very gentle soul and valuing life in nearly all of its forms. She will be nice to everybody she meets, even if they prove to be untrustworthy, she won’t be actively mean or negative towards them. She is also very intelligent, spending a lot of her time nose deep in books, or keeping the other four organized. Generally seen as quiet and passive, Judy will show her resolve in desperate situations or where something she truly loves is being threatened. She was designed as a support and transport mod soul, being gifted with her magnetic personality to help ferry wounded soldiers from the field to receive medical attention. When fused with the pill, Judy’s memory became damaged, leading to holes in her long and short term memory. She keeps a diary to try and mitigate the issue.
Jack is probably the most cold and calculating of the group. He considers every angle of a situation and values what is most pragmatic for the end goal. He isn’t emotionless, but his feelings are substantially more muted than the rest of his comrades, leaving him to only have the faintest of sensations to extrapolate feelings of joy or sorrow. He finds emotions very fascinating however, and almost in a child-like fashion, seeks to understand them. He is also very child-like in his understanding of everyday things, often asking odd questions that one would assume everybody knows (why do people suck in air? What is this noise coming from the radio?). When he was merged with Oz, his pill’s rietsu limiter was damaged, meaning he heavily damages any organic body he is placed in. It has been thoroughly proven that when he is the active ‘soul’ he needs an inorganic body to inhabit.
HISTORY
Four of the pills in Oz started out much as any other mod soul would have, being designed and crafted in the bowls of twelfth division for the war against the hollows. Each one was designed, tested and made ready to go out to the field. The very stalwart and task oriented pill designated R9y-M0nd had been designed to generate confusing illusions to allow for Shinigami to flank and outwit their enemies. The pill designated as A!b-3r7 was a much more combat oriented pill, with an experimental weapon system meant to mimic the adaptable shape and abstract powers of a zanpactou. J#d-I3 was a pill made almost specifically for Fourth Division, to go out and pull back wounded from the front lines without having to risk medical lives. J9-c^ was similarly designed for defensive measures, designed to manipulate the terrain to create strategic advantages regardless of where a fight would start. Despite the successes of their testing, the project was scrapped and they were all consigned to destruction.
However, fate would appear to be fickle as an accident saved all of them. These four pills were intended to be destroyed in the same ‘batch’ but a somewhat clumsy division member had accidentally dropped their own ‘pet’ project into the container slated for destruction. This pet project was a simple pill designed to act as a dog so the researched could have a pet terrier in his otherwise pet unfriendly barracks. With his beloved dog lost in a batch of mod souls slated for destruction, the researcher rushed to halt the destruction process. Not quite incinerated, the pills were scooped out from certain death by the hasty hands of a twelfth divisioner (wearing gloves). Much to his concern, it looked like the four pills had been fused together into an oddly shaped lump of swirling greens. Not quite giving up hope, the researcher took the pill and placed it in a dog shaped gigai he had designed, hoping that his pill had somehow survived. He was met with mixed results as the dog gigai came to life immediately, tail wagging and letting out a loud, excited bark! His glee was met with immediate concern when the dog then glowed a bright ruby red before vanishing from his table.
The next week was spent… interestingly while inside the dog body. Using J#d-I3’s ability to remain hidden, they went about locating their respective gigai, only being able to recover J#d-I3’s and A!b-3r7’s as the others had been destroyed. They ran to earth (another interesting trick for them)
For months and years they dodged Shinigami, always staying in the shadows as their fragmented mind tried to sort itself out. It wasn’t until recent years that they fell in with a Shinigami of all people, a person everybody in Oz’s pill considers their saviour, Alexander Kingsford. The Shinigami gave them a safe haven for them to live, and in return they have all chosen to serve him in his endeavors to the best of their abilities. J#d-I3 took the name Judy Garland, and works as Alexander’s personal assistant when needed. A!b-3r7 became Albert Lahr and works as Alexanders butler and body guard whenever called upon. R9y-M0nd took the name Raymond Bolger (though likes Ray, makes her feel more feminine) and does whatever dirty work her new boss needs of her. J9c^ assumed the moniker of Jack Haley, though rarely makes public appearances as a simple IT and hardware consultant on the company documents. Terry comes out now and again as an energetic pet that is fiercely loyal and protective of his adoptive master.

SOUL RELEASE SOUL RELEASE ACTIVATION How do you activate your release?
Whoever is in charge at the time presses their thumb to their forehead, a softly glowing pentagram taking form on their brow.
SOUL RELEASE APPEARANCE Don't give images, give links and/or a description instead!
There isn’t a very significant change when Soul Release is active, merely a softly glowing pentagram on the brow of the body. Ray’s brow glows a deep purple, Bart’s glows a brilliant gold, Terry’s glows a soft blue, Judy’s glows bright red and Jack’s glows a soft white.
SOUL RELEASE ABILITIES
Name: I’m Not Alive. Idiot. Class: Augmentation Tier: III Type: Illusion Range: 50 Meter Radius Description: Like a scarecrow in a field, this power is designed to scare the unwitting bird brains foolish enough to try and fight Oz. Oz can form illusory images of whatever is in his/her mind, limited only by what can be imagined. The illusion only effects sight and touch, and Oz need only come in contact with the targets rietsu to initiate the effect. This ability is attributed to Ray’s soul pill.
Name: Golden Claws Class: Augmentation Tier: III Type: Offensive Range: 20 Meter radius Description: The teeth and claws of a modern world are brought to bear in the hands of Oz. With this ability, any weapon that can be thought of by the user comes into existence in a glowing glorious light. The weapon can be no larger than 1 cubic meter, and no more complex than a chain. They have cutting power similar to a sealed zan, and Oz can create as many as 5 weapons at a time. This ability is attributed to Bart’s soul pill.
Name: Ruby Slippers Class: Augmentation Tier: III Type: Supplementary Range: 50 Meter Radius Description: With this ability, Oz can vanish into another world with a mere thought, and she can come back instantly as well, but must wait three posts to 'recharge' the ability before entering/exiting again. This ‘ruby Dimension’ is a perfect mirror of wherever Oz is when activated, though everything is tinted red and nothing can be heard. Nothing in the ‘real’ world can be effected when Oz is in the Ruby dimension, and likewise Oz cannot be effected by the real world. Anything that Oz takes into the Ruby dimension follows along wherever Oz goes, perfectly preserved, unless it has a rietsu of its own. Anybody with their own rietsu is free to move around without issue and can easily exit the Ruby Dimension with a simple thought. Oz can use this ability to quickly switch between gigai as well, sending one to the Ruby Dimension while simultaneously bringing another out. Entering or exiting takes a couple of seconds and is accompanied with a large red flash of light. This ability is attributed to Judy’s soul pill.
Name: Oil and Rust Class: Augmentation Tier: III Type: Supplementary Range: 20 meters Description: Oil allows things to move freely while rust seizes and hardens; Oz applies this idea to literally everything around them. Using their rietsu they can affect up to five cubic meters of raw mundane material, allowing it to become fluid and malleable. The material will take whatever shape Oz demands, and then become as solid as it once was. In the same vein, Oz can infuse rietsu into a mundane object and make it take up properties similar to a teir III barrier in hardness and durability. This ability is attributed to Jack.
