I've been checking out the rules and while I'm pretty sure I understand something, I want to make it crystal clear.
An individual shinigami who becomes a vaizard (not intentionally) but does not embrace the vaizard res and maintains loyalty to the Soul Society is still permitted among the ranks, yes? There are currently vaizards among the captaincy and the vaizard res description specifically calls out the fact that they are expelled from soul society as a downside, implying a normal bankai wielding vaizard would not. That, and Central 46 is quite dead. That seems fairly conclusive, but as my father is fond of saying, "never assume, it makes an ass of "u" and "me"".
