HISTORY
In his early years in the academy, Sunny learned quickly what his strengths and weaknesses were. Always having been a very passive person, Sunny realized that fighting with weapons and fists was not his strong suit, hating whenever he had to physically exert himself in any situation and the whole situation was very "in your face" with everything. He began to wonder if Gotei was truly something he wanted to do after all, up until he was introduced with the art of the spiritual magics, Kido. This was something that seemed to have more finesse to it, a beauty that he couldn't seem to find in sword fighting or hakuda. The spoken word incantations like poetry and the surge of power of a correctly executed spell like something of the gods themselves.
With this new found interest, Sunny willed himself through the academy, scraping by his the skin of his teeth with his melee practices, but excelling in the Kido arts due to the passion he had for them. After graduating, he proceeded to work his way towards joining the Kidoshu, with aspirations of learning new and even more beautiful techniques that he could add to his arsenal of art.
As he settled into his place in his new squad, he found that the duties of a low ranking Shinigami were almost more peaceful than the academy. He loved to work with the Jigokuchō, a menial job that his other low ranking peers seemed to find boring, but which he found to be relaxing and enjoyable. He never really grew out of his preference to be solitary, enjoying his alone time with nature or somewhere quiet. He reluctantly did the work that he was assigned within the barracks, like sending messages or running errands, but much preferred his chances to do the quiet boring work that others seemed to detest.
Ever since his graduation from the academy, he had discovered a companion, if you could call him that, in his life. The spirit of his Zanpakuto, having learned his name and soon after growing their relationship more and more. Hinoshishi, a massive boar spirit, a true counterpart to Sunny, loud and brash, headstrong and aggressive. Sunny found out the very first moments that he had really focused on entering his inner world, excited to discover what powers laid dormant within him, that he and Hinoshishi were nothing alike and were practically incompatible. While Sunny loved relaxing and enjoying the simple things in life, Hinoshishi was aggressive, both physically and in his constitution. He held a high pride in strength and indomitability, and grew more and more disappointed in Sunny with every visit into the autumn forest of his home. Sunny began to almost hate interacting with his Zanpakuto, but knew that he was going to be partners with it for life, and that to grow stronger he would need to find a way to work with him and find true balance in his future.
While he would prefer to relax and drink tea all day, Sunny trained like everyone else to become all that he could be.

SEALED FORM A long katana with a gold guard, with a ring hanging from each of the four sides of the guard. The sheath has a Literari painted designed of a tree branch with red and orange flames and leaves on it. SPIRIT APPEARANCE Hinoshishi can appear either as an enormous boar with giant painted tusks, or a large, muscular man with brown hair down his back, and tusks jutting from his bottom lip. Both the boar and the man form have burning orange-red eyes, and flame spews from their mouths. Depending on intensity of the characters, their hair or fur could smoke or set alight. SPIRIT PERSONALITY Hinoshishi is a gruff and brash, with an ingrained principle of headstrong aggression. SHIKAI SHIKAI APPEARANCE Hinoshishi's Shikai form is a lengthy Bisento, having a 5 foot shaft and 3 foot blade. The shaft is printed with an Literari looking design of orange and red leaves and flames. The blade is a thick blade that most Bisento's have, but also has two mounted blades on either side of the main one that curve down and forward that resemble the tusks of an elephant or boar.
