APPEARANCE
Appearance
Olive is tall for a girl- five foot and between eight-and-nine inches, depending on the time of day she's measured. She often has to wear flats not to stand out, though her stature is of great benefit for her job. She has long auburn hair, and large olive brown eyes. Fitness is her hobby and so her frame is lithe and muscular but she's more of a sprinter than a lifter. She's between a C and D cup chest-wise (depending on the shop), and her hips come out not quite as far, lending her to a top-heavy appearance when viewed from the front.

HISTORY
Her father getting shot pre-natally was one of the best things that could have happened to Olive, it turned out years later- not that she knew it. Her mother was six months pregnant, unable to drive, and walking alone towards the hospital. Unbeknownst to her, her own brother- killed in the force alongside her husband, who was currently in hospital suffering from wounds of the same cause- was following her. His heart had been lost and hidden and he had become a hollow. Little did she, or her brother know, however that he was being followed. The young Senta Hirashi was on duty, waiting for his moment to pounce.
The hollow leapt, swiping at Olive's mother and sending her ricocheting into a fence. She guarded the baby bump carefully thinking she'd been clipped by a car. The shinigami leapt down and bifurcated the hollow, while Olive's mother examined the strange burn mark, thinking it to be merely a graze, and continued on her way, despite the silent urgings of Senta. She reached the hospital and saw her husband, who was recovering just fine.
They gave birth to a little baby girl several months later, who was in just about the 50th percentile for absolutely everything. She had the most gorgeous eyes, though, and the Durhams were just happy to have a happy, healthy daughter. Mr. Durham was in and out of the house- his dealing of the "Koumoku Yori Hospital" event as it was called entitled him to promotion. Mrs. Durham, however, elected to work only for a day a week, and the rest of the time to care for Olive. When she was a few years old, she was brought a brother, Jason. She "helped" her mother to take care of him, along with all of her friends when they surpassed the toddler stage.
Mr. Durham had it in mind that Olive would go on to become an academic or a lawyer- he wanted Jason to follow in his footsteps and become an officer. It became exceedingly obvious- to Olive at least- that her brother was not fit for the force. He was sickly and effeminate and his talents lay in performance and art. She herself was fairly standard- she was pretty, but it wasn't until she'd considered the police that she found her calling. It took some convincing but eventually, her father saw her talent and agreed to let her enroll to become a PC.
She enjoyed her training, and made great friends, much more, she felt, than if she'd attended college. She graduated, and got her badge. She had a fierce reputation for laying down the law, but was also tender in dealing with children and families. The Tokyo Met half loved her work and half despised how her efficiency affected them. On the one half she was great PR, and she really helped with the workload. On the other hand, the seniors were considering her a shining example and questioning why the others weren't following suit.
Olive could ignore it though, it really didn't make a difference to her. She was a little afraid of them pulling some Hot Fuzz shit on her but overall it wasn't really going to be a problem.
