The air was rather foul in terms of emotional and the built up tension within the manor walls in North Dakota. With the moon high, it was only a matter of time before Lucifer made his presence known. Or rather exude a spiritual mist that relax the muscles. To most this is poison of Lucifer's can be seen as medicine of sores and free from pain. However with the head of this manor being drunk with three bottles of Jack Daniel whiskey this man would eventually lose his temper. It was a philosophical issue with Lucifer's uncle especially when influenced with too much intoxication. The mind begins to bend and warp to where the true nature of the human unravels and eventually make multiple mistakes. Such a poor situation for a man with many dark secrets that should be kept in the dark, yet one of those secrets just might come back to haunt this man for years.
Lucifer's tragic past was the result of one of these said secrets, and naturally Lucifer's primary target is his uncle Ted Cross. Normally both justifiable reasons and Hollow aspect Lucifer would've just chomped on the man's carcass a long time ago. However he didn't feel like it would be satisfying if Lucifer just ended the murderer's life like that. It was too easy in Lucifer's mind and with his new powers Lucifer began to wedge chaos into Ted's family. Slowly Lucifer has been breaking Ted's mind by visit every other night to make noise, exude the poison to numb the muscles, and one time made the poor man watch in horror as his own furniture began to moving on their own. Even more creepy is that all of the dolls in Lucifer's cousin's old room turned towards the man. Most people brushed it off as Ted's nightmare, or rather making the story up to get attention.
Perhaps it is not looked as a terrible thing even reading something like it on paper, but when someone is actually there and is witnessing the events themselves fear generally grips even the bravest souls. Especially when they can't see nor control what is going on which is basically feeling helpless. Essentially this is the feeling that Lucifer has created upon Ted's mind to where paranoia has ensued on the poor excuse of a man. Why is a Hollow of all things practically toying with their prey? Revenge would be the answer to that question. See, for the past fifteen years Lucifer has been spending his spiritual life as a soul brewing with hatred and vowing for revenge onto his uncle. However he couldn't escape the feeling of lost and was practically grieving over his deceased fiancé who died on the same day as he did. Of course even now Lucifer still feels that way, but now he has the power to make his vows and wishes bare fruit for once.
It was apparently a family reunion in honor of Lucifer's death at the manor hosted by Ted himself. This is due to the old coot to maintain a front that he had no hand in that event. There was Ted, Lucifer's grandparents, recently divorced parents, and his own step sister invited over to a family dinner. All was well with the exceptional few speeches to honor Lucifer, and when the clock struck at midnight Lucifer's monstrous form began to make fear a reality. With a horrific growl, Lucifer lets out a distinct roar that created fear into the family's hearts. However with Lucifer's poison already taken into effect, they could barely get up from their seats as color can be seen drained from their faces as the lights from the swinging chandelier flickered. Tonight was the night that Lucifer ends his little game, and also to declare checkmate on his already terrified uncle who happens to be Lucifer's target for the night. To the naked eye, Ted was thrown backwards with the chair by an invisible force, but spiritual eyes would see Lucifer raising one claw-hand and swiping both the human and the chair away. Three good sized gashes of blood revealed on Ted's body as he slammed against the wall with a crashing thud while the chair crumbled upon the weight and force behind it. Lucifer would slither his barbed tail to coil around Ted's leg who was tempting a poor show to get up, and upon tightening on the leg the barbed part of the tail sliced into the calf as Lucifer threw the human across the dining room and collides against the swinging chandelier. One that kept going, except now that it can't support the additional weight both Ted and the chandelier fell on top of the long ornate table. Ted was pinned by the chandelier, and while by now the man was certainly dead the spirit form of the man was not. Lucifer looked down at the soul of his uncle with the burning eyes of hatred. "Oh my god... It is the devil himself!" Ted exclaimed before he tried to run away in a panic. Unfortunately Lucifer pinned that spirit down by simply stepping his large foot onto Ted's back and used his weight to keep the uncle in place. Lucifer of course lets out another roar to signal his victory before Ted's spiritual screaming came out short as Lucifer began to feast on Ted's soul. All the way down to the very last drop of reishi.
