Solomon attempts to live up to his regal name, and his natural features help. He stands tall at 6'2”, with a solid build (strong without quite verging into body builder territory). His eyes are a bright brown and his hair is a white-gray and neatly cut. His features are quite “sharp”, with a hard edged, serious look that compliments his general appearance of serenity. He prefers formal attire; tailored suits and polished shoes are his norm. While these things tend to be quite contemporary, he often includes a few things that seem slightly anachronistic, as long as he doesn't feel they damage his respectability. A tasteful pocket watch and chain, yes. A monocle? Not so much. Solomon's voice is a steady baritone, calm but with an underlying intensity. Most distinctly, he bears a gold ring with odd inscriptions and patterns, which those with an interest in magic may recognize as the Seal of Solomon. While his grooming is impeccable and his manner quiet with subtle force, there is a degree of wear on his own body, with slightly calloused hands and a face that looks somewhat older than he really is (or at least older than he claims to be to most). His face is decorated with an immaculately trimmed beard.
Control: Solomon finds himself well suited to the idea of control. He accepts responsibility easily, but not casually. He also understands the polarizing nature of control; people are usually quick to accept it or violent in their rejection of the idea. While Solomon does not view the former as “sheeple” (a term he finds extremely distasteful), he's sensible enough to know that most want direction and don't trust their own ability to provide it completely. This is not a matter of intelligence, it's simply human nature (and as much as the powerful spirits attempt to deny it, they are human, at their core, in the ways that matter). That said, while Solomon's sense of responsibility prevents him from deliberately abusing any position he manages, he does have a tendency to subconsciously assume he is needed in such positions. If pointed out when this is the case, he is quick to abdicate (or cease pursuit of authority) where it would be inappropriate, but it colors his attitude extensively regardless.
Serenity: Solomon is utterly self assured. He learned early on the importance of conviction, of being steadfast (and projecting that attitude to those who worked with him, even when he was unsure of what path to take). Then, he moved beyond conviction into utter self confidence. He adapts well to setbacks and, after having seen a great deal of wonder and horror in his centuries of life, has becoming quite resilient to open displays of emotion.
Reliable: Solomon does not give his word easily, but when he makes a promise, he will go to extreme lengths to maintain it. To be reliable and steadfast produces trust and order, which are both desirable states.
Benevolent: While perhaps too serious for his own good and with a touch of arrogance, Solomon absolutely desires what is best for the people around him. He goes out of his way to make the world "better" according to his vision. He tries to balance material and emotional factors; were it up to him, humanity would live happily in the lap of luxury, but doing too much too quickly simply creates imbalances. As such, he strives to embody wisdom in refining the world around him, using his doll as a catalyst.
Solomon is one of the original generation of Bount, a fact he bears some degree of pride in. The Bount were created to last forever, and while the Shinigami government might have been foolish enough to discard them as they did so many of their supposed mistakes, the simple fact remains that they succeeded; the Bount survive. During the early years, Solomon was one of the many gathered together by Ran'Tao, who he came to respect for her dedication to repairing their unfortunate situation at great personal risk, as well as providing his immortality in the first place. Young at the time, Solomon survived the Shinigami's massacre not by any great skill, but simply by being lucky. A child at the time, he was playing hide and seek at the time of the attack with a number of the other young Bounts. By virtue of being one of the hidden parties, he had secluded himself away deep in the cave, only to hear the distant echoes of battle. Frightened and unsure, he secluded himself tightly into his clever hiding spot: a broken open geode just large enough to house a child (uncomfortably). Without a detectable reiatsu and no light to speak of, he was overlooked by the invaders as he held his breath for sheer terror.
Once the attack was over, it was not long until, driven by desperation, Solomon was able to find the survivors. Fearing being alone, the young fullbringer stuck with the nomads for years, until the discovery of his lifetime was introduced: the Doll summoning ritual. His own version combined sand, fire, water, ash and a host of basic ingredients, tinged with the young man's deep need for a companion that would stay with him for the rest of his immortal life. The result was Oase. At first a fairy-like creature small enough to dance on the hand, she eventually grew into the genie-like being she remains to this day. Oase's arrival created a change in Solomon. His fragile personality now possessing someone to lean on, he began to be more expressive and self-assured, which eventually grew into outright rebellion against those among the Bount's remaining leadership who wished to enter Soul Society. Certain that such an action was nothing short of suicide, Solomon and Oase left the primary group that would eventually become lead by Eugene “Jin Kariya” Carrier. Given the result of that little endeavor, Solomon counts himself fortunate to have left when he did.
Centuries passed, and Solomon's confidence grew as he experienced more of what life had to offer. Eventually, Oase ceased being an emotional crutch and became a true partner. Together, they realized that they needed something to occupy the slow movement of the ages, lest they become outdated and eventually maddened by their lack of purpose. It needed to be grand, such that it would take time, yet would be satisfying if it were ever brought to fruition. Solomon eventually settled upon satisfying basic human nature, a task as great as he could conceive. Within the human heart is a wasteland of desire, a hungry, emotional famine. It as the source of much of mankind's woes, and he and his doll were suited to perhaps providing some degree of treatment. So they remained wanderers, settling for a few years hear and there, leaving before anyone noticed their unaging nature. Improving the lives of those around them behind the scenes, they moved on and on, content that the seeds of contentment would spread, slowly but surely. And if they did not? There was time. They would return eventually.
Their most recent local is Karakura, a hotbed of spiritual activity that has drawn Solomon's interest and Oase's curiosity. Gathering the numerous rarities collected over the years, they opened a curiosity shop, the Resplendent Bazaar. Specializing in strange artifacts with seemingly impossible stories attached, it has gained some popularity among seekers of rarities and, oddly, teenagers out for the “spookily effective” good luck charms, unknowingly fashioned with Oase's magic.

UNKNOWN - unknown – @Reathin Note: FC found on Anime Character Database, but given name does NOT match actual series character.
Name: Miraculous Gift Catharsis Class: Soul Absorption Type: Passive/Binding Tier: I/III Range: Self Description: Where Solomon passes, dreams come true and desires are fulfilled. This needn't be purely altruistic. With this ability, Solomon forms a tenuous connection between those effected by his Doll's positive abilities (such as Djinn's wish and Marid's glory). Those who benefit from him even once are so connected, sending tiny slivers of excess spiritual energy to substitute as a feeding method, rather than consuming entire souls. This drain does not empower the bount in any way save to prevent starvation and is trivial enough that even normal humans will never be adversely effected (it simply takes the excess energies that a soul wastes, mostly). Solomon can't sustain himself entirely with this technique, sadly. It can only reduce the amount he needs somewhat.
More usefully in practice, Miracle Gift Catharsis may strengthen the connection deliberately (it's supplementary use), allowing the bount to restrict offensive actions against those he has benefited before. For a single post cycle, as long as Solomon takes no offensive action against them himself, they are similarly prevented from trying to harm him (even indirectly, such as attacking nearby terrain). Muscles and reiryoku alike refuses to take action against their benefactor. Using this aspect of the technique overloads the connection between Solomon and the target, meaning they cannot be targetted with this again unless they receive another positive effect from his Zeige Dich.
Name: Regal Will Class: Soul Absorption Type: Supplementary Tier: III Range: 20m Description: Throughout history, Bount have been called a number of things, most prominently vampires. Tales of these creatures sometimes speak of hypnotic eyes and voices, commanding and calming the wills of others. In Solomon's case, this is at least partially true. His gaze and voice bear commanding magic.
Against those without spiritual power, this is quite comprehensive. Solomon can rewire memories, implant subconscious commands, and give just about any order short of the suicidal and expect it to be obeyed. Mostly, he uses it to cover his tracks in mortal society. The ability is much less reliable against spiritually empowered entities. While a rare few might occasionally succumb to his commands (determined by OOC permission), most shrug them off.
Name: On the Dotted Line Class: Soul Absorption Type: Supplemental Tier: III Range: Self Description: Few supernatural begins offer their services freely. Often, some sort of bargain must be struck. With this ability, Solomon may forge such a mystic pact.
In essence, this ability is used immediately before another one. The later ability's effect become contingent on a condition that Solomon sets. This may be a specific action (so the effect only show up once the other side fulfills their side), or an ongoing behavior (which means the effect cuts out if they stop behaving as instructed). Nothing forces the target to play along, but they lose the effect if they do not abide by the terms. A person can only have three such bargains at once. Solomon may initiate as many as he cares to pay for, but even he is bound by the rule of three if the bargain is made with himself. Deals don't persist beyond the thread that created them if there is any time between them.
Name: Resplendent Mirage Class: Soul Absorption Type: Defensive Tier: III Range: Self Description: While Oase is the superior illusionist by a tremendous degree, Solomon is not without tricks of his own. He has survived this long without being detected, after all. Resplendent Mirage bends light and sound to conceal its user, as a haze of heat on activation, then nothing. It absorbs particals the individual leaves behind, leaving behind no forensic trace or smell. This is not a true illusion effect, as the minds of others are not touched. It is similar the Curving Light kidou, but since Bout lack detectable spiritual signatures, it instead covers up the little bits a person leaves behind wherever they go. Violent or major physical action breaks the effect, which otherwise lasts for up to 7 post cycles on its own. If Solomon wishes, he may extent the effect to those within 5 meters of him, but this drops the duration to 4 post cycles.
BATTLE SKILLS
ITEMS
REIATSU FEATURES
While a bit of a moot point, due to bount auras being undetectable, Solomon's reiatsu appears (to himself, mostly) as a searing gold and white aura with a hard, "angelic" tenor to it.
His doll's is a near mirror, manifesting as a mysterious smokey aura with a spicy feel to it, much gentler than her summoner's.
ZEIGE DICH
Oase
Genie
ZEIGE DICH!
SEALED FORM
Oase spends very little time in sealed form if she can help it, but in the event she is, her energy dwells within Solomon's ring (with his namesake's Seal visible on the top and the Bount symbol inscribed on the underside). The ring is very pure gold.
More commonly, while technically summoned, Oase prefers to disguise herself as a human (made simple, given her abilities and a doll's non-existent spiritual signature). When disguised as a mortal, Oase appears as a young woman of Arabic decent, although her light accent doesn't quite match with any real one. Normally masquerading as Solomon's personal assistant, she wears clothing that matches the business atmosphere; sensible shirt and skirt combos, light jewelry. She is normally serene, if lightly amused, preferring to use subtle body language (particularly her eyes) to get her point across as much as the few words she bothers to use. DOLL PERSONALITY
Oase is a strange person, quite by her own design. Flighty and mysterious and yet loyal and submissive, she enjoys being the enigma people try to puzzle out, but never succeed in doing so.
Oase loves humanity for their dreams. They reach out and change the world around them to match their vision, and even if they fail, they almost never do so in a boring manner. It is for this reason that she has insisted that she remain summoned around normal humans (admittedly, disguised as one), that she might better observe them and occasionally tweak someone's path here or there, for their own good or her own interest.
Oase's relation with Solomon is somewhat complicated. Not quite servent, not quite partner, not quite romantic partner, there interaction is unique enough to occupy its own category in both their minds. On the one hand, she's fond of him as only a centuries-long ally can be and appreciates that he has his heart in the right place, but she's also of the opinion that he needs to lighten up a hair and indulge in the many joys life has to offer. It comes out more positive then negative, but it does cause some exasperation from both sides.
DOLL MANIFESTATION
DOLL APPEARANCE
When undisguised, Oase is much more vivacious and open. Preferring far less conservative dress, she wears light silk wraps and extensive gold decoration, chains and cuffs decorating her arms. Ocassionally, her lower body is replaced by pale smoke or smokeless flame while she floats (she CAN form legs, if she needs to, floating or not). Her body language is warm and energetic, with a light laugh and an easy manner. Her tone shifts as well. In human disguise, she speaks formally but normally, while unveiled her manner switches between very casual and extremely outdated, poetic prose.
Name: Djinn's Wish Class: Zeige Dich Tier: I-IV Type: Offensive, Defensive or Supplementary (Varies by individual use) Range: 100m Description: Oase's iconic ability, harkening back to various stories of genies, it is within her power to make wishes come true. Wishes may be stated outright, implied or just something Oase has reason to believe to be true (not necessarily accurately). The power of the wish is limited by its tier. Destructive or protective wishes are only as good as that, no matter the specifics (ie. wishing a building would collapse on a foe would only damage the target and building as much as tier will allow, which might not be much). Supplementary wishes are similarly tightly bound (x2 speed/strength boosts are tier II, x3 speed/strength boosts are tier III). A person may only benefit from up to three combat-type wishes at once.
Wishes outside of combat circumstances operate differently. If the wish is for a specific object, Oase may generate mundane matter fairly freely (10x10x10 for tier II, 20x20x20 for tier III, 30x30x30 for tier IV, in meters). Wishing for non combat events is possible, but takes the form of a series of improbable occurrences rather than just rearranging everything in a flash. The less likely, the higher tier needed. Wishing to find a $20 bill on the way home is trivial, but wanting to be the CEO of a major corporation would be higher and take much longer). Wishes normally work as subtly as possible to the desired end, but cannot directly control spiritually powered individuals without OOC permission. Such entities have taken their destiny into their own hands.
Name: Ifrit's Mirage Class: Zeige Dich Tier: I-IV Type: Offensive or Illusion Range: 100m Description: Oase may surround herself with a shimmering aura of heat, to strike or entice. Used offensively, the heat blazes intensely enough to burn those within the effect as its tier would indicate, sapping strength from the limbs and air from the lungs while burning flesh. When used to delude, the magic forms a mirage instead, bending light, weaving sound, spiking the air with scents, or any number of unusual changes to the area to fool the senses. This is not a true illusion (much like the Bending Light kidou), as it does not directly affect the brain, but it can still be used to delight or terrify as needed. The illusion effect is a Tier III use, while the offensive use varies. At tier IV, the Mirage may become a true illusion, targeting the brain directly, but only two senses at once.
Name: Shaitan's Seal Class: Zeige Dich Tier: II-IV Type: Binding or Defensive Range: 75m Description: Tales of genies sealed away are common enough that the average child associates lamps with them. Echoing the power of her own summoning and binding, Oase may exert binding power over spiritual energies and individuals.
Used against a person, this locks the movement and spiritual abilities of a target as appropriate to its tier (ie. higher tier uses of this technique are harder to break out of and stops higher tiers of abilities from being used). This works equally efficiently against embodied entities like humans and quincy as it does on spirit forms like shinigami or hollows. As long as it has a soul, it's a viable target. The target may still use techniques above the tier of Shaitan's Seal, although they may find it a bit more challenging than normal.
Used against energies, this technique flares a circular series of runes into existence to form a defensive shield. Energy dissipates into the runes, which Oase must release (not necessarily back where it came) within three post cycles, lest it explode within her. Techniques above Shaitan's Seal's tier cannot be sealed away this way.
Name: Marid's Glory Class: Zeige Dich Tier: III-IV Type: Supplementary or Healing Range: Self Description: Mightiest among geniekind, the Marid possess incredible magics. Embracing the mantle for herself, Oase veritably erupts with energy, allowing her to grant a whole new form of blessing. Marid's Glory is a form which lasts for 7 post cycles at best, during which time she may provide the following.
Firstly, it allows her to heal wounds. Locking injuries down so that they do not get worse is easiest, but actually restoring the damage is done as the Above Average Healing mastery. Wounds beyond that level are also beyond Oase.
Alternatively, Oase may grant the gift of magical ability. Humans temporarily gain the ability to see and interact with spirits (the effect lasts a few hours). Those with powers of their own may be granted magical boons. Each boon takes the form of a technique effect that Solomon must have witnessed directly to partially copy. An individual with a boon pays a price: for the duration of the effect, they must sacrifice access to one technique of equal or greater power. The boon can last up to 5 post cycles, and an individual may only benefit from 3 such effects in a day, Solomon included (Note: swapping out techniques is something that can already be done OOC, I know. I just think this is a cooler way of doing it). If the time runs out, they may instead make the change permanent, but htis obviously locks out the sacrificed slot until it's re-obtained IC or with plot points.
