APPEARANCE
Standing taller than humans at nine-and-a-half feet, Ashmadu is an ogre with heavy, organic looking plates of armor called "chitin," draped in layers across most of his flesh and acts as skin. In the center of his abdomen a hole can be seen through to the other side of his back. Either hole is surrounded by prehensile spinal protrusions which form a bone cage.
There are no obvious eyes on his face to see through, instead a massive slit in his mask reveals an internal sensory organ that essentially acts as a massive ear, allowing Ashmadu to trace sounds, movements and physical obstructions through echo location and a keen sense for audio vibrations.
Ashmadu has adapted miniature eyes that can see in darkness, but are blinded by light. They are located on either side of his 'slight' but resemble other warty growths blemishing his skull's carapace; they are barely distinguishable from one another, especially when closed. Approximately eight are actually eyes. His slitted ear organ is toothed and capable of clamping shut.
With arms and legs built like an elephant's, sporting hooves as toenails and claws like sharpened tusks, his sheer monstrous form and strength invoke a brutish abomination with a grunting howl that carries across entire landscapes. His very presence feels like a swarm of spiders crawling across the surface of your skin, and his teeth are actually made of scaled chitin which are barbed. His tongue is a knot of wrinkled flesh which seems to ooze bile.
PERSONALITY
Ashmadu is mostly a savage brute with little regard for culture or anything beyond the pursuit of self-validation. Ashmadu speaks in short bursts of scattered thoughts, but can become more focused on a conversation the longer he's forced to dwell on the matter.
Utter solitude is his natural habitat, so even in his company many feel alone. Alienated from him, or simply consider him inhuman. He isn't one for idling by, nor the kind of person to indulge in conversation. It isn't war he craves, just conflict. His views and objectives are as short-sighted as they come. But this spawns from a 'live for the day,' mentality that keeps him breathing.
Mostly surmised by a compilation of quirks and instinctive fetishes, Ashmadu doesn't particularly think about anything in-depth. Haunted by self-doubt, there is something about being your own worst enemy that Ashmadu takes to heart. His aspirations are few, chiefest among them survival and freedom. To break out of his pit and spread his influence, and as well to seek retribution for the perpetrators of his imprisonment. These are Ashmadu's chiefest motives.
HISTORY
Ashmadu was born during the fall of the Ottoman Empire, and remembers little of his childhood. It was a modest life that barely allowed him to touch the surface of his spirituality. It made him susceptible when he finally perished, a young Plus soul born into an even stranger world.
Needless to say he was relatively peaceful for the first few days, until his Chain of Fate began to fade. it left him feeling uncomfortable and awoke a sense of urgency he couldn't understand. It was on the seventh day Ashmadu finally succumbed, and awoke disoriented in another field farther away, covered in strangely scented gory smears.
It hasn't been easy adjusting, and Ashmadu is still an unclassified hollow, roaming the deserts of the Easts. Never once has he attempted to invade a populated city, or breach into a spiritual realm. He's actually quite ignorant to most of it, and instead prefers to dwell in solitude.

| BATTLE SKILLS Name: Ensombreza Cobija (Shadow Blanket) Class: Hollow Technique Tier: III Type: Defensive/Binding Range: 25 meters/Self Description: The user shoots reiryoku into their own shadow, pulling it up around them like a thick, dark, slightly transparent blanket, hence the name. This is among the absolute fastest of all Hollow techniques in execution speed, being used for a last minute defense against fast attacks, such as Bala. One of the only weaknesses of this technique is that while the user is shielded with their own shadow, so too are they incapable of moving, until the shield is broken or dissipated by the user. The user is also capable of using this shadowy cover to trap an opponent at half bala speeds, using the target's shadow. The shadow can only rise up 7 feet from the ground to engulf either the user or the target, however once it comes in contact with what it is meant to cover, it can stretch over even the largest Gillian. Name: Aterrrar (Terrify) Class: Hollow Technique Tier: II Type: Binding Range: Short Description: Hollows represent the bane of comfort. Monstrous, loathsome, and vicious, hollows strike fear into pluses and shinigami alike. This technique capitalizes on the fear hollows create and takes it one step further. By emanating their dread reiatsu, some hollows can cause opponents of equal advantage or lower to be momentarily frozen in fear. The reiatsu emanated actually curls around their bodies like unseen manacles for about the same time as the shinigami kidou equivalent, Sai. Name: Explosión Sónica (Sonic Blast) Class: Hollow Technique Tier: III Type: Offensive Range: (25 radial Meters) Description: Gathering reiatsu into the whole body, the user forces the gathered reiatsu out of the body forcefully, into a burst out manner, that is able to form a sonic blast, traveling at Half Bala speeds, at a 360 degree area around them, making the ground crack and damaging from the force anyone in range. ITEMS N/A REIATSU FEATURES Ashmadu has reiatsu that seems to skitter across the surface of one's skin like a wave of creeping crawlers. It smells distinctive, reminiscent to the scent of a brown marmorated stink bug. It is a deep crimson shade muddled with brown pigment. Most describe his presence simply as utterly repulsive. Description: After extensive developments of arachnid traits, Ashmadu adapted his own silken threads which he uses to furnish and hunt. He secretes the modifiable formula from the tip of his prehensile spinal protrusions. They are used to many ends, such as surrounding himself in a protective layer of criss-crossing threads or securing mobile objects within their adhesive embrace. Preparation is as simple as pressing the web against another surface and stretching it across desired dimensions, or ejecting it out as a prehensile extension of his body that can move at double Cero speed. They bind with the strength of a corresponding tier Binding technique. They are virtually undetectable at night, but daylight's contrast with these sinewy threads makes them easier to distinguish.

Description: Festering and blighted are the billions of minuscule hairs across his body, which Ashmadu can release by rubbing his body or being brushed by another object. These effects can linger on physical objects for one post as a contaminant. Effects include labored breathing and profuse sweating. Some experience intensive swelling of the eyes and a chronic coughing spell when exposure is protracted. Symptoms are immediate on contact and last across eight posts.

Range: 10 radial meters
Description: By remaining in contact with his silken string, Ashmadu can sharpen the fibers and constrict them around a bound opponent. This move is referred to as such because most enemies don't expect the sudden shift from binding to cutting and often react too late. It merely supplements the strings, adding a volatile layer which causes severe lacerations on contact supplemented by the rigid binding threads crushing down with Ashmadu's physical strength. If a target is not bound they can still be lashed, but the effects are not quite as traumatic.
