Enclosed within the earth, Hiding inside the crystals. Within the crystal tomb, They hear my Ancient Call, so cold and yet we burn. My Hour is at hand. Years gone and we've slept with the silence. Gripped tight by the darkness that blinds us.
Enclosed... Darkness... Silence... Things that she had to live with for too long. Aevi began growing bored of her new 'home', She'd been here for a long time unable to move or stretch all thanks to this prison she'd built around herself. She'd been waiting, biding her time until she could burst out of this prison and break free from the shackles that held her in this mock bondage. But now, she was tired of waiting... She was done with it all. A gleam came across her 'visor'-like eyes as the gravity around her began to raise, slowly at first... but then picking up in pace extremely rapidly. The crystal prison that entombed her began shaking violently as her hands slowly clenched into fists, the gravity within the crystal soaring to new heights as Aevi began exerting her full power. No more waiting, no more tests... It was time for her to return to this world. Cracks began forming all over the crystal as the room she was kept in itself began shaking, her arms slowly and inch by inch began spreading apart as she grit her teeth. She let out a low growl, the crystal nearest to her began being pushed away from her and it seemed like the entire thing was expanding as the cracks grew more and more numerous and longer. "I will not be kept prisoner any longer!" She said seemingly to herself, the crystal quickly being sucked back in and seeming to return the girl to how she was before it erupted out from her "I WILL CRUSH THEM!" She roared out, causing the Crystals around her to explode outwards violently. Her gravity no longer contained by the crystal skyrocketed within the chamber and all around the facility. When her rage 'subsided', she slowly floated down to the ground. The room around her was all but destroyed as far as containing her went, and getting any useful data? Improbable save for the camera that she left intact. Her head lifted up towards it as she lifted her hand and pointed at it "Free me!" She demanded "Or I'll destroy this entire facility!"
With that, she seemed to simply... wait. Waiting for some type of response from the man whom she'd seen all these years, whom had... 'taken care of her'. She'd admit, he didn't seem like her Father... But looks could be deceiving... And she wasn't going to take chances. She wanted to be freed, she wanted revenge on that man that had tortured her all her life... The one who tried to control her. She wanted to kill her 'Father'.
Reactive Armor: This buff enhances your defenses. Like Blut and Hierro, this has damage reduction/protection. However, unlike either one, this does not provide durability. Instead this defense, rather it be a barrier or other, provides passive protection against abilities. This effect stacks with your spiritual potency mastery, treating it as Soul Resilience once mastered while the fullbring is active. At Beginner, it will prove a +1 tiers boost to your spiritual potency mastery’s defense/damage reduction. At Above Average it becomes a +2 tier boost. The max cap for it is tier IV, so you cannot exceed beyond it through any means. You can also make a damage reflection secondary effect, based off your Fullbring's gimmick. This can range from increased damage, physical buffs/debuffs, status effects, elemental properties, etc. The Tiers are as follows: At Beginner it is Tier I. At Below Average it is Tier II. At HL with Advanced Fullbring mastery it is Tier III. It's capped due to being passive, but can be made supplementary but capped at Tier V, depending on what it does. Physical attacks bypass this defense but any spiritual effects with the physical will be neutralized. Additional damage will be dealt by the reflection's effect.
Name: Crystalline Skin Class: CLAD Release Tier: III Type: Passive Range: Self Description: From the heavy impact of losing Scarlet to her own primal nature, Aevi setout to train until she could come back and stop Scarlet's rampage and bring back the Scarlet that she fell in love with. Aevi's extensive training and use of her powers in the mountains and caverns caused her body to absorb the crystals that surrounded her. Because of this, her skin changed to harden almost to an unbreakable state while still retaining the texture of skin. While her new Crystaline skin is just as soft and plyable as skin might be, it feels just like crystal and is just as hard. The only exception to this would be the very center of her back and chest, which is hardened to an unbreakable state to protect her heart. At this same time, inside her chest her organs have developed a Crystaline layer to help protect them as well. This grants her Bankai-level durability during her Fullbring, and Sealed Zanpakuto Durability outside of her Release This makes it so her Fullbring can only last 7 posts (Because Site Rules) and anything with 4 Advantages instantly destroys it.
Name: Gravity Control Class: Release Tier: III Type: Passive Range: Self Description: As she has grown in strength, so too has her control over her powers. Aevi is now able to completely control all of her techniques of Tier 3 or lower without any trouble while 4 are only a little unstable. However, All of her Tier 5 and higher techniques are still impossible to have full control over and her Tier 7 almost always have a repercussion. This does not, However, Grant her the ability to use any tech above the tier her Mastery Level allows. On top of this, she is able to specifically control gravity in small bursts that allow her to seemingly teleport from one spot to another within a fraction of a second. On top of this, she can still willingly activate her previous 10 foot aura of distortion of Gravity.
{Techniques attempting to be learned through this post}Name: 圧死 Asshi (Crushing Death) Class: Release Tier: VII Type: Offensive Range: Everything within a 100 meter Radius Description: This ability is a far, FAR more powerful version of what used to be her ability called "Death". With the increased knowledge of what her powers can do, her "Death" ability has managed to transform into something far more deadly and far more chaotic and uncontrollable. Whilst "Death" used too be able to target a specific enemy, Asshi cannot and affects everyone (except Aevi) within it's radius of effect. Bringing down massive torrents of gravity and pulling everything down to the first solid layer around her (Or until they are farther than 100 meters away from Aevi directly downwards). Following the below advantage table, a different effect (And sometimes more severe) can occur.

Seran frowned as the lights in the elevator flickered from another tremor. He needed to hurry or this whole situations was likely to get a whole lot worse for everyone involved.
Entering Vault Potentially Lethal If Levels Rise To Previous Recorded Maximum.
"And if I don't intervene now she'll bleed to death or kill herself with her own abilities. My opinion on this issue is made, your job now is to make preparations for negative outcomes."
As the elevator reached the bottom level another small tremor shook the area, any Seran could feel a notable increase in the gravity around him. Several lights with the enclosed space went out with small pops as the glass succumbed to the effects. He waited for a moment, but the doors in front of him remained closed. He grumbled to himself and reached forward, prying the broken doors open with his hands. The metal screeched in protest but he paid no attention, the elevator mechanism was likely completely destroyed anyway so there was no sense being gentle. The entrance way to the main vault was completely black, the lights likely destroyed during the previous wave of destruction, but what light remained from the elevator was just enough for Seran to find the manual release for reinforced door. He placed his hand on the mechanism, powering it with his own energy and causing the numerous locks to slide out of position and the door to slowly open.
The floor within the vault was littered with shards of what Seran assumed was the crystal coffin the girl had previously been imprisoned within. It was fairly obvious by the pieces embedded throughout the walls and ceiling that the object had exploded violently, leaving the containment area basically destroyed beyond repair. With this new information Seran could feel Monitor developing contingency plans, most centered around containing the fullbringer's powers should they erupt again. It seemed an ultimately fruitless effort. Seran could contain her temporarily, but they had no feasible way to do so for long periods of time while a new containment area was built. Seran ignored the grim implications and stepped into the vault.
"I assure you my dear..."
He spoke in response to what she had previously spoken into the camera.
"...you have never been a prisoner here but by your own doing."
He motioned to the pieces of crystal strewn throughout the room.
"This vault was only to protect the surrounding area while I endeavored to find a way to free you without causing your death."
He eyed her midsection, at several points where her clothing had be ripped, blossoms of crimson were beginning to spread quickly downwards. The adrenaline was likely keeping her oblivious of her injuries, but he speculated in a few moments she would likely begin to feel the effects of blood loss.
"Speaking of which... if I don't tend to you soon you're going to go into hypovolemic shock. But that's going to be difficult if you act aggressively."
It shouldn't have happened but you let it Now you're down on the ground screaming medic The only thing that comes is the post-traumatic stresses Shields, body armors and vests don't properly work That's why you're in a locker full of hurt The enemy within and all the fires from your friends The best medicine's to probably just let it win
These battle scars won't be fading anytime soon.
Aevi glared at the man, raising her hand back as if getting ready to do something... However nothing happened, she was about ready to attack this man but she was allowing him to finish speaking before she did anything. He answered the question she was about to ask, which was why he had her down here in the first place then if she wasn't being kept as a prisoner.
"You know not of what you speak human! This isn't anything in this world that can defeat me anymore, I have seen things you can't even imagine! I have survived against things you could only dream of hoping to never encounter! Do not test me or my patience!"
Her voice boomed in the small destroyed room, her energy was chaotic at best and nearly non-existent during some points. The adrenaline that still flowed through her from the battle that caused her imprisonment in the first place was finally beginning to fade since she was free, her anger the only thing keeping it running. Blood trickled down the side of her lip, the gravity around her continued rising to a point that neared the peak it was at before when she was contained. Her body began to sway a bit though as the crystal that surrounded her body began to flake off. The 'visor' that covered her eyes fell to the ground and shattered as she fell forward, the crystal that formed her 'back' remained in place as the crystal in front of her fell forward and shattered against the ground as she crashed into it. The rest of her crystalline 'suit' soon fell to pieces as well, she coughed out blood as she hit the ground. Her consciousness was fading, and as it did the crushing weight of the gravity that surrounded them began to fade. It faded rapidly as she fell, when she touched the ground it was gone completely.
"I... can't die... he... must..."
She said as her vision faded and her eyes closed, and her consciousness faded.

As predicted, the rush of adrenaline did nothing to help the girl's situation. She shouted at him, ranting in exsanguinated confusion about her power and seeing things beyond his understanding. The gravity swelled as her voice did, staggering Seran as it washed over him. But a moment later it faded, and with it the spiritual pressure of the fullbringer. She fought to stay upright but the effort proved fruitless and she tumbled forward, the material on her body shattering and fading away along with her consciousness. Before her eyes rolled back Seran caught a few syllables, muttered in the haze before unconsciousness.
With the danger now removed Seran recovered quickly from the swelling gravity and rushed across the room to where she had fallen. out of his jacket pocket he pulled out a small black sphere and tossed it into the air slightly beyond the girl's body, where it expanded into a massive, paper-thin disk. He bent down an gingerly turned the body over, the front of Aevi's clothing was almost entirely crimson now, her armor must have been the only thing holding the vital fluid in her body. He carefully scooped up her limp form and walked into the black portal, carrying them up to the lab level.
Seran laid the fullbringer down the medical table, before running to the other end of the room and sifting madly through the unorganized work areas along the wall. He finally found what he was searching for: a syringe filled with a eerie, bright green liquid. Subject's Heartbeat Slowing. Core Temperature Dropping.
Seran returned, sprinting across the room in only a few strides. In his unoccupied hand, black iron swirled into existence as a small knife. With expert precision he slipped the knife under under Aevi's shirt by the waist and sliced up the center, revealing the injuries beneath the clothing. The wounds were extensive and deep, the serum would likely only take her out of danger. He flipped the syringe in his hand, pointing it downward towards her chest.
"You're lucky to be unconscious, this is going to hurt like hell."
Once quick movement and the needle plunged into the center of her chest, injecting the substance directly into the heart for fastest dispersal through the body.
~ 3 days later ~
Aevi would awaken with the soft light of the sun crossing her face. It was midday and the sun's light piqued through a window close to her bed. She was laid back on a very soft mattress, propped up as one would be in a hospital bed. It would likely take her eyes a few moments to adjust to the surroundings. From off to her right a voice sounded.
"Ah, finally waking up are we. I'm actually surprised you're awake so soon."
She would begin to feel some sensation now, feeling the bandages that covered numerous part of her body over still tender, knitting flesh. Besides the bandages she was clothed on in undergarments and a white medical gown, with a blanket covering up to her shoulders.
"Try not to move, your injuries are healed on the outside but the flesh underneath still needs time. You've suffered not only physical wounds, but the negative effects of manifesting your powers for far to long, and on top of that the medicine used to heal you can weaken your body significantly. Start slow... can you speak?"

Aevi raised her hand to cover her eyes as she awoke, her eyes squinting as she shifted in the bed. As her arms moved she began to feel strange sensations all over her body, she felt something soft underneath her and over her as well. She also felt what she thought might be bandages and as she looked around and her arms came out from under the covers she could see she was wrapped almost entirely in bandages similar to a mummy. Her arms fell to the bed as she groaned, she felt so weak... Her body could barely move and her eyes struggled to even stay open as she struggled to slowly shift herself into a position so that the light wasn't right in her eyes. She did eventually manage it through many painful grunts and groans, That was when she heard him tell her to not try moving too much and asked if she could speak.
"where... am.... I...?"
She mumbled slowly, her eyes blinking rapidly as she tried to clear her vision so she could see her surroundings. Her memory was blank at the moment, recalling anything was not only difficult but painful as well. The more she tried to move her arms, the weaker she felt. She could feel the bandages all over her legs and chest, the bandages on her arms more than visible for her. Wherever she was, she didn't recognize it at all. As her vision cleared, her memory slowly began returning to her. Visions and memories of her last battle came flooding back and her arms bolted to her head, clenching it tightly as Aevi let out a scream of terror. The memories came in flashes as well, making it even further terrifying for the girl. She may have technically been almost 30, but mentally she was still a teenager. Her body had been suspended in stasis for 10 years, and when she'd entered that stasis she was still so very young mentally. Aevi whimpered as the memories stopped and vanished from her mind once more, curled up on the bed and clutching her head in pain.

Normally Aevi's scream would've jolted Seran, but over the last three days such outbursts had been commonplace. He had resisted the urge to look into her mind to see what memories she was reliving, such violations of privacy were reserved for enemies and/or desperate times. But whatever they were, it was clear they were highly painful. He sighed, placing aside the most recent portion of her medicine.
Reaching into his jacket, he removed a black lighter and open pack of cigarettes, popping on out before placing the pack back into his pocket. He stepped back from the counter and walked over to the bed, sitting himself on the edge. He crossed his legs and placed the smoke in his mouth, lighting it quickly and slipping the lighter into his pocket. He exhaled, and removed the cigarette from his mouth to sit between his fingers on his knee. Beside him Aevi whimpered again, her hands grasping the sides of her head.
"Take a deep breath."
He reached out and placed his hand on her side, giving her a anchor to reality. He could feel the bandages and tried to be gentle.
"You shouldn't ever forget what you're feeling right now, but don't let it overwhelm you."

It was... Difficult to say the least. The more she didn't want to think, the more she thought. Eventually, the pain subsided and she was reduced to naught more than a whimpering girl on the bed. Her head was throbbing in pain like she had a migraine... only 10x worse. A hangover that refused to stop and only got more and more intense. His attempt to keep her anchored to what was reality and what wasn't helped a little, but in the grand scheme of things she was in far too much pain to truly notice. Thankfully, however, the pain was gone relatively quickly and when she finally calmed down and panted softly, she looked up at Seran cautiously.
"Who... who are you?"
She asked, unable to recall the face despite recognizing it. She felt like she'd seen him for months... maybe years... like she knew this man... Yet for the life of her she could not recall who he was or how she knew him. It was frustratingly annoying in truth, unable to recall someone that you know for a fact you know.

Seran drew his hand away as the whimpering ceased and Aevi's breathing returned to normal. He brought his cigarette back up to his lips again and inhaled, before crushing what was left in his hand, extinguishing it and letting the black particles fall to the floor.
"Quite nasty things... I don't understand why humans use them."
He turned his head to the side to look at the fullbringer.
"My name is Seran. Just Seran. And you are safe, so the location hardly matters, but if you're just dying to know, you're in my house.... well one of them anyway."
She obviously heard him, but whether of not she understood was another thing entirely. Her eyes weren't focused, like she was looking past him to something she couldn't quite make out. Seran grinned slightly; it was funny to see the face previous twisted in rage so confused.
"Having trouble remembering? Perhaps this will help."
He reached into another pocket on his jacket and removed what looked like a multicolored glass prism. Upon closer inspection, the precisely cut object was actually made from the crystallized coffin that had trapped her for so long. He held out the crystal for her to take if she wished.

Seran... Yet again she felt like she knew it yet couldn't recall it, the more this occurred the more angry she got at herself. Why couldn't she remember? She was trying so hard to remember who this man was, why she recognized him so vividly... But she simply couldn't. But as he spoke she listened as best she could until he pulled out the multi-colored gem, Aevi did reach out to grasp it though the moment her hands touched it something flashed into her head and she jerked her hand back as fast as she could. What was that? It was a large... red... something. Aevi had to know, and this thing somehow had her truth. So she reached forward again, this time grasping it fully and yanking it from his hand as images flashed through her head quickly and she let out a scream of pain. Gripping her head tightly, she saw everything... The fight with the Menos, the fatal Cero that forced her into the mountain... everything. Then she saw the tomb around her again, this man... pacing around her... doing something. She could scarcely recall specific details before she tossed the gem away and back towards Seran, recoiling away from it as she panted heavily.
In truth, she wished she hadn't ever done that... Those memories... She didn't want them. All the pain, the anger... Her own powers frightened her. She pulled her legs up and hugged herself as she stared down.
"What were you doing to me? Testing on me? Experimenting? Using me as a guinea pig?"
The more she spoke the more anger and venom that was shown in her tone, Everything she remembered were just flashes of what was happening... She couldn't piece it all together. So for her, it was just flashes of him walking around her like her 'Father' used too when she was in isolation in that machine that kept her powers nullified and herself unable to move.

Piecing together Aevi’s past without directly entering her mind was slowly becoming a more realistic goal. She had anger, and hatred, emotions whose power Seran understood, yet without control they enabled him to read her like a book. Her accusations of experimentation were laced with the venom of one who had been violated by such practices. But despite the danger of another outburst Seran remained calm, calmly snatching back the crystal as she threw it.
“No.”
The statement was simple, but the calmness of the word held far more meaning. On this topic he had nothing to hide or conceal from her.
“I kept you here because you are a danger to yourself and others. Had you not been within that specially made vault when you broke free, you would have collapsed the surrounding area around yourself, either trapping yourself once again or more then likely ending your own life.”
He gestured to the bandages covering a large portion of her body.
“And with injuries like that it was impossible to determine if that crystal was the only thing keeping you alive in the first place. And speaking of…”
Seran stood from the bed and held out a hand, palm facing the floor. Below his hand black iron formed and began to spread and contort. It took a little more time than usual to make an object with moving parts, but a moment later a black wheelchair softly set down onto the floor.
“Now that you’re awake I can use a less severe method to continue the healing process. Do you think you can get up on your own or do you need assistance?”

Something about his story just didn't add up, she wasn't sure what it was... But it stuck out like a sore thumb and the fact she couldn't nail that thumb down frustrated her to no end. That frustration might've been evident on her face had she not looked down at the wheelchair that had seemingly materialized out of nowhere, looking down at it she tried moving her legs off of the bed. This however only ended in an exasperated growl as she winced in pain, gritting her teeth as her hands clenched into fists. Not being able to move was beyond frustrating.
"I... can't move... By myself..."
She said, she hated having to rely on others like this... If what he said was true, and he only had taken care of her... For how long had this happened? How long was she there for, in that crystal stasis as he watched over her. It was obvious with how frustrated she was with her predicament, unable to move without the aid of another. She was able to move her leg ever-so-slightly, but at that rate alone it would take her forever to get into the wheelchair... if she could even get into it in the first place.

Seran pulled the wheelchair closer, lining it up with the side of the bed.
“It’s nothing to be ashamed of. The medicine I used to repair your body can completely debilitate someone with only two doses, and it took four to take you out of danger. Here I’ll help you.”
He pulled back the blanket covering Aevi from the waist down, and checked to make sure her bandages were still securely wrapped. The, ever so gently he slipped an arm behind her back and another under her legs.
“Alright, now lean in…. that’s it. You’ll probably feel a slight twinge just bear with it.”
Straightening up, he lifted the fullbringer off the bed. She was surprisingly light, and he made a mental note to bring her something to eat once she was situated in the regenerative spa. Seran placed her into the cushioned seat of the wheelchair and helped position her legs. Unlike the standard one used by humans, this chair was particularly well cushioned and could hold the legs up in a more comfortable position.
“Don’t worry, you’ll be back to your old self before you know it.”
He guided the wheelchair out of the room, and they emerged into a hallway much like you would find in any normal human house. As they progressed they pass by several open doors to other rooms, mostly other bedrooms and small living spaces. Then they emerged into a large open area, split in two by a large step separating a kitchen and a carpeted living room that led outside to a patio. Seran turned right, rolling the wheelchair down a ramped section of the step and then through the living room and out onto the stone patio where he stopped.
The mountain foliage beyond the patio was broken by a number of connected, somewhat natural looking pools, steaming with hot spring water. The pools were fed by smoothly trickling miniature waterfalls the broke through the scenery at several place. Off to the side the rhythmic click of a shishi-odoshi could be heard.
“Nice isn’t it. A couple hours in here and you’ll be feeling much better.”

Aevi nodded as he moved over to her and placed one hand behind her back and another under her legs, wincing as she felt that twinge he spoke of and placed her in the surprisingly comfortable chair. She nodded to his words as she was wheeled away from the bed, her head turning only slightly as she took in her surroundings and noted this place was... rather homely. It had that vibe about it that one might only achieve by being in a place of comfort and protection, and in truth it surprised Aevi quite a bit considering where she was before. As they moved through what seemed like a house, she noted the proximity of the kitchen and couldn't help but want something to eat now. Before she hadn't even thought of food, but now that she saw the kitchen... Well, going 10 years without eating would do that and one could only wonder how she had even lived that long. But her attention was soon diverted elsewhere, the doors opening and both of them exiting out into what looked to be some sort of botanical area. Aevi couldn't help but let out an audible gasp as she looked around, it really was remarkable. Aevi looked to where the steam was coming from and couldn't help but tilt her head a bit at it, the only time she could ever recall this kind of effect was... Well never in truth.

“It’s a safe house. Associates of mine come here to rest and recuperate.”
Seran stepped to the side of the wheelchair and motioned with his finger. The seat of the device gently lifted from the base of the chair, and drifted down towards the closest of the pools.
“The water here speeds up the natural healing process by energizing the cells in your body. Not anywhere near the level of the drug I’ve had to use up until now, but it has no negative effects on your body and should actually replenish your stamina.”
The fullbringers body was slowly lowered into the liquid, and gently set down on a sloped seating area on the edge of the pool, allowing the occupant to lay back comfortably with their head outside of the water. She would find the water warm and comforting, and the steam rising from the slightly foaming surface smelled faintly of herbal medicine. Along with the trickling of water and the methodical click of the shishi-odoshi, it was clear this was a place of both physical recuperation through medicinal means, and mental recuperation through meditation. Seran turned to leave.
“Enjoy the water, I’ll be back in a little while with some food and clothing for you. Those bandages will dissolve in the pool once the injuries beneath are repaired. I’ll be able to hear you from inside so speak up if you need anything”
And with that he stepped quietly back into the building.
Some time later the mod soul returned from the kitchen. He eyed the back of Aevi’s head, her hair now damp and sporting droplets from the accumulated steam. Well at least she hadn’t drowned during his absence. He set down a tray to her left, on which sat a bowl of brothy soup and a cup of iced green tea. Next to that he placed a folded towel and a basic black yukata for her to wear when she was done bathing. Once he was finished he walked a few feet to her right and sat down on the edge of the pool, legs crossed. He placed his hands in his lap and stared lazily out at the serene area, enjoying the peaceful sounds emanating around them.

Aevi nodded as he told her where she was and what this place was even for, taking a careful look around the area. It was a rather relaxing area she'd been taken so it couldn't be all bad, and as she was lifted she jumped slightly as she neared and soon entered the water. As he explained what the waters in this area did, she gave him a small nod as she looked at the pool specifically now. She noted the small waterfall-like trickle of water that came down, helping to keep the water fresh no doubt. She winced slightly at the water as it touched her sensitive skin, though she didn't recoil against it as she was slowly lowered. Her body adjusted to it as Seran left her alone here, she simply closed her eyes as he did so. Listening to his feet slowly become softer and softer until she couldn't hear them anymore, she allowed herself to simply enjoy the sounds of the running water and the soothing sensation that now overwhelmed her.
Over the course of what felt like hours to her though she wasn't sure how long it'd take, Aevi had fallen asleep inside of the water. Her hair was sprawled out on the ground behind her as she slept quietly, though she awoke quickly when she heard the tray set down next to her and jumped quickly as one hand was swift to raise out of the water as her head spun around. Fear overwhelmed her face as her 'Fight or Flight' instincts took control for but a few moments before she saw who it was and settled down, letting out a soft sigh as she slowly sat back down. The healing waters had done quite the number it seemed to help heal her wounds, most of the bandages by now had begun to dissolve and though there was pain from her quick movements, Aevi was able to ignore them for the most part even if they did sting.
She watched him move to the edge of the pool and sit down, her eyes following his around the room as she once more took in her surroundings and seemed to be able to appreciate them far more now that she wasn't in such excruciating pain. One hand reached back to take the cup, starting to sip it slowly.
"...Thank you... For saving me..." She muttered quietly, almost like her own self-righteous pride was trying to prevent her from saying it.

Seran waited a long moment before he responded, seemingly lost in the sounds of the moving water. When he answered he did not turn, his eyes still looking out over the hotspring.
“Your thanks is appreciated, but unnecessary. I honestly found, and still find, your situation quite fascinating.”
One of the purple winged jigokucho fluttered the other end of the pool, landing for a moment it drink from the accumulated vapor on one of the leaves. Seran watched it intently for a moment, always interested to watch what they did when monitor was not directly controlling them. The insect finished its drink and fluttered back into the air, drifting whimsically on its way. There was a moment with each flap, where the reflective purple on the wings flashed white, and Seran found himself thinking of Aevi’s white reiatsu when she had broken free of her prison. Or maybe it was a cocoon. The mod soul grinned wryly at the thought, glancing momentarily at the fullbringer.
Butterfly indeed.
Sarcasm about her previously fiery disposition aside, he was pleased that the tension in the air had calmed.
“If you don’t mind me asking: How exactly did you end up in such a predicament?”
It was a innocent enough question he hoped. But just in case he quickly added:
“You don’t need to tell me if you’d prefer not to.”

Fascinating huh? Aevi couldn't figure out for the life of her why she, of all things, would ever be considered 'fascinating' outside of her 'fathers' laboratory. But then, he asked about what she remembered... If she could recall how she ended up as she did. True she didn't have to answer him, but she couldn't help but watch as the memories came flooding back. Her eyes began blinking rapidly as though channels on a T.V. might be changing rapidly, Her head twitched as her eyes closed. She could see it, it came as flashes but...
"Red... Lots of red, blood and reiatsu... everywhere... these things, they came to kill me. they wore something black to clothe themselves..."
Her body gave a sudden jerk as though she were reacting to something coming at her, her arms raising quickly as if covering her face from an attack of some kind. She seemed to cower, whimpering softly as her memory continued.
"Darkness... And gems... A great power sealing them to me... Locking me in time."
Her arms slowly lowered as she gasped and opened her eyes quickly "And then... I met you..."

Seran grimaced inwardly at the mention of things in black, though he attempted to keep his displeasure from showing on his face.
Could be shinigami, but black isn’t exactly a unique color. Regardless, it implies a group, which means they likely wanted to use her for something.
Seran wasn’t really a fan of gambling, but even he would wager they wanted to use her as a weapon…….. or kill her before someone else could. It suddenly occurred to him that asking her to relive such events might be enough to trigger another outburst of her abilities, but she finished her statement without incident, and his tension faded.
“Whoever they were, or indeed are, you won’t need to worry about anyone coming for you here. This entire estate is a safe house for my friends and the people who work for me.”
He noted her pained expression as it slowly faded away along with what she had been remembering.
“What you feel from those memories is only debilitating if you allow it to be. Pain and anger turn to fear if you run from them. Shatters your focus, causes your power to control you and not the other way around.”
He let the statement hang in the air, but didn’t press the issue.
“What do you plan to do now that you’re free from your prison? I told you before that I was interested in your circumstances, but there are no chains binding you here, and I’ll take you anywhere you want to go if your interest is to resume whatever life you had before you ended up here.”

Return... to her previous life? No. She wouldn't return to him... At least not in the way he hoped.
"Return to my previous life? No... No I don't think I will."
She said softly, pausing for several moments as she pondered what she should do... But then she heard it, that little voice in the back of her mind. 'Revenge... Kill them all, that's all they deserve!'
"I'll go back to him... But it'll be only to kill him. To crush him under the power he tried to control, and as for those beasts finding me... That won't be a problem, I made sure they all died before I was entombed. And anymore of them that come for me will meet the same fate as their predecessors, any of those large beasts will merely meet their doom before me."
She moved one hand behind her as she grabbed the towel, pulling it around herself as she rose out of the hot springs slowly. She let out a soft sigh as she looked over towards him.
"Where are we located? I won't burden you with my revenge, but I will kill him and destroy his lab."
There was a distinct change in her entire demeanor and attitude, her tone spoke with nothing but venom and even her face showed naught but anger... But a Calm Anger, a Controlled Anger. Aevi kept a firm grip on her powers, refusing to let them free here. This man, Seran, did nothing to deserve her wrath. She would not force him to bear witness to her powers unleashed yet again... Not the full force anyway. Instead she would focus all of her anger on her would-be Father and his laboratory, she would kill everyone there and make him suffer as she destroyed his precious lab around him.

Seran waited and listened as the fullbringer spoke. The tone of her voice changed, but it was not the rage he had heard when she had broken free. It was steady, focused, as though while she spoke she could completely invision her goal in her head. As she turned away from him to put on her towel he smiled. Conviction. He had heard words spoken in that way before. His smile faded to a grim expression as the sun reflected off the water in front of him.
But it was raining then….
Rain dripped from Seran’s hair, the droplets lost in the cacophonous downpour around him. He was looking down at something… something in his hand... Water ran in rivulets down the side of a sword, flowing around the numerous scratches on the blade, and slowing down as it made its way over patches of rust. The weapon was was strange, seemingly too thick and wide for its length, which was that of a normal katana. But as his eyes drifted up the blade’s edge, it came to a section where the metal had been rent. The sword had once been long, meant to be held in both hands. But something had ripped the last third of the blade away, with such force that the blade had bent even as it shattered causing the break to jut out to one side. Droplets fell from the blade just as they did from his hair and clothing, and even though he could not see it clearly he knew it was not only water that dripped down into the grass.
“Why Seran!?!”
He looked up at the figure standing several yards in front of him. The man’s features were hidden by the dark and the endless downpour around them. But his garb was not. The Shihakusho, traditional garb of all shinigami, as black as the night that surrounded them. The shinigami’s arm was outstretched, pointing his blade at the mod soul accusingly. He wasn’t like the others; the ones whose blood currently ran down the Rabid Red Dog’s blade.
“They told me to bring you in. They want to make an example of you. To use you to justify what they-/”
“There is no justification.”
Seran didn’t yell, but his statement cut off the other man as if he had. The mod soul opened his arms as though presenting the area shinigami. He gaze did not move from the unseeable face of his former friend, but knew all too well what lay to either side of them.
“I could kill hundreds, thousands more and it would not even come close to justification!”
The shinigami’s accusing blade lowered, his resolved obviously faltering at the rage in Seran’s rising voice. But his sword remained between the two of them, hand clenched tightly on the hilt.
“I don’t want to do this. I know they were wrong about you. But this…. this is a massacre.”
“And what they did to us was a genocide.”
“Tell me they aren’t right Seran. I’ll bring you back, we’ll say it was self defense. You can show what they did was wrong. Tell me you want to stop.... Tell me you can stop.”
The memory began to fade away, but before it vanished completely he heard the words. The words spoken with true conviction.
“I will never stop.”
Seran’s mind came back to reality, and he caught the end of Aevi’s question. He stood from his seated position, and faced her again.
“We are directly above where you sealed yourself away… give or take. Much of the area changed once I excavated and out that laboratory and had this estate built on top.”
He motioned that they might head back indoors.
“Naruki City and Karakura town are much too far away to walk I’m afraid. Especially in…”
He made a point to look down and her still damp body covered with only a basic spa towel.
“...that. But your clothing issue should be simple enough to solve. Unfortunately your clothing was largely in tatters and for the most part unwearable. You can have them back if you wish, but I have much more suitable garments for you. Especially now that you seem intent on running headlong into danger. Once we get you fitted out, I’ll gladly transport and accompany you anywhere you’d like to go.
