Normal humans can't see souls (Hollows, Shinigami, Pluses etc) but it's an on going myth in Japan that Cameras can literally capture/trap [parts of] souls and spirits can be viewed in the pictures, destroying the picture is said to release what is trapped. I think I remember in a filler episode a soul gets caught in the background of a photo, how true to this is this site going to keep?

I think that BSRP is not that much of a nit-picky site to dwell on such trivial matters in that it chooses which occult myth/practice/legend it is going to accept and which ones it would not. As such, my guess is that, as long as you can justify whatever it is that you are trying to do, and it is within the bounds of the rules of BSRP, then you can pretty much pass anything, spirit photography a la Project Zero/Fatal Frame included. Anyway, I hope this answers your query.

This is for the most part honor system based, however the photos would have blurrs or distortions that the non-spiritually aware would point towards potentially being spirits, but obviously could never be 100% sure outside their own minds, very similar to how now-a-day humans rationalize spirits they see to appear in photos.
