Her ears pressed against her skull as she felt soft lips against her forehead, nose scrunching up slightly and eyes sliding shut again. Only pressing closer and closer to Nessa's lips on her head, closer to the source of comfort. Shivering with fear, sobbing in pain. And desperately clutching to the woman. Muttering various korean slurs and questions under her breath. Though it was too silent, too thickly laced with sobs and too shakey to actually make sense of it. She was put on the bed, still holding on to Nessa. She was tired. Yet obviously scared to sleep. Slowly drifting and nodding off, before she suddenly jolted to life again, trying her best to stay awake.
After all. How much time did she have left with this woman? How long had it been that she met her mother? The woman was dead. And even if it was an illusion, conjured by a plagued mind that was stretched thin due to various mental conditions she suffered. The stroking on her hair had one effect and one effect only. She started to purr. Weakly, softly so. But it was an actual purring. Her chest and throat thrumming softly, vibrating softly to the touch.
But soon, even her paranoia, her fright and the sense of needing to stay awake all faded. Overwhelmed by a heavy, thick haze of drowsiness. And Nessa could feel the occasional twitch and jolt lessening. Until she was dead silent for half an hour. A soft, and relatively rhythmic breathing settling in.
And so, unless disturbed, she'd until morning, cracking open one eye, before she jolted up straight. The movement made her whince in pain, resting a hand on her wound as she breathed heavily now, puzzled, confused.

Ness's brain continued to feel like it was stuffed full of pleasant, warm cotton wool. It wasn't helped by the fact that... Had this girl started purring!? What the hell was up with her. Ness just assumed that she was already half asleep and much like the other crazy events of the evening, she was walking around in some weird kind of dream state. Once the heavy-breathing stage of sleep had set in, Ness ever so quietly and gently slipped out of bed and headed back to the main lounge room of the apartment. She grabbed a sleeved blanket from a shelf which she usually wore when she watched movies, and re-arranged the cushions to her liking before promptly falling into a deep sleep.
The first thing Yeong was likely to smell in the morning was cooking breakfast. Ness had taken a leisurely lie in but she was still up before Yeong, and wearing a pinny with a lemon pattern she was making breakfast; miso soup, white rice, and fried eggs. As Yeong was Korean, she doubted the girl would want Natto and so she had omitted making any of that. She was nearly finished cooking, and would go and wake the girl in just a moment to see if she wanted any breakfast.

Her ears flattened against her skull at the scent of breakfast.
Scratch that, warm breakfast. Her stomach churned. She whinced in pain nonetheless. But when was the last time she had properly eaten? When was the last time she had eaten? It had a slightly calming effect, the scent of food. And while the pain was near unbearable, she still caught herself fantasizing about what was made. It smelled nice.
But by no means did she recognize the scent. Then again, anything cooked was a far cry from her usual diet. Well, she wasn't just going to sit around. She hated doing just hat. Because it was a waste of time. If she was up and about, she could at least do something productive, even if it just was gathering intelligence. She needed to plot her next move, after all. She rested against the door, taking a deep breath. Well, like this, she wouldn't be able to make a proper move. So perhaps heal first and try to find a new place to hide out. She was sure her place now was compromised.
She rested her hand on the doorknob, before pushing it open and stepping forward, stumbling before dropping to her knees, hissing in pain. But moreso in frustration.

As she took the last pan off of the hob she heard the hiss of a Yeong. She turned around in slight surprise, rushing forward to practically scoop her up in a chair and then place her before the breakfast table. She removed her pinny. She was just wearing a pair of flip-flops and clingy polyester sport-shorts, and a super cropped top that kept riding up due to her boobs; lazy sunday wear. Her chiselled abs were fully visible as was the very slight softness that had developed since she moved out west. After she placed Yeong at the table, if she didn't struggle too much, she wiped her brow and went and opened the french doors out onto the balcony where she grew her plants.
"Miso soup and fried egg on rice ok, Neko-chan?" she asked with a smile. "I'll get you some more painkillers now. You can't take 'em until you've eaten though." she said. There was something quite motherly about her, despite the hyperathletic fratboy type dress today. She imagined that Yeong would be in a lot of pain and hurried to grab some pills and serve up food, which she did so after a few minutes of rummaging, placing a tray before the girl and grabbing her own food.
"Feeling any better today Neko-chan?" she asked sunnily, digging in.

Struggling was exactly what she did, though it was weak and rather futile. She still had a stitched up slice on her belly. So the majority of her struggling was weakened by the pain and a sense of self perseverance. She glanced up at the woman as she was propped in a chair. What Nessa might view as being 'checked out' was in truth Yeong examining her closely on how to most efficently fight her, and on how to most effectively impair her movement if it came down to it. While she realized she wouldn't be much of anything in a fight given her wounds, it made her at least less stressed of being in a stranger's house, sitting at a table with a stranger.
With her own blood soaking her clothes. A soft sigh, followed by a pained wince came from her as she tried to think on how to replace her clothes. "Neko?" She grunted, shaking her head. "I'm... Human," she replied, ears flattening against her skull as she spoke. She never really enjoyed being a cat. Having a tail that got in the way, overly sensitive ears. A period of fucking heat ontop of the human period. Joy of joys.
She looked down on the tray prepared for her, eyes widening at the feast that was prepared for her. And without any reservations, she started to positively devour it, grunting and moaning occasionally in pain. But that didn't stop her. Like a starved predator, whose food could be stolen at a moment's notice.

Ness ignored Yeong's feeble struggling. Yeah yeah, cry me a river. She had to eat and she couldn't be falling down all over the place trying to move. The girl was still quite unwell and Nessa didn't want her stitches to come undone, otherwise it would be her ass on the line. She saw the girl looking her up and down and got a little self-conscious. She hadn't put any make-up on yet today, and she instantly regretted it. She felt guilty that she'd been negleting a strict diet and exercise regime, and instinctively sucked in her very slight tummy a touch.
She insisted that she was human when Nessa called her Neko-chan, which she found incredibly cute. Her Japanese appeared to be not much better this morning but she was probably in large amounts of pain so Ness understood that. When Ness told her to each she began wolfing it down, slurping and sucking everything away. Ness simply regarded her with raised eyebrows, quietly eating her own meal. No doubt, Yeong would be finished way before she was with her slow eating in comparison.
"It's not going to run away." she laughed after a few moments. "Anyways, do you not want to be Neko-chan? I just called you that because of your cute headband. Actually... I don't think I know your name after everything. It just never seemed important, I guess." Ness said, finishing the last of her egg and starting on the soup.

Seeing her stomach being sucked in slowly, and seeing a glimpse of her abdominal muscles, she decided that the best way to go about this was the neck. A general weakpoint of everything. Just had to reach it. But regardless, those thoughts were pushed to the back of her mind as she started to, indeed, wolf it down. One eye moved upwards to glance up at Nessa as she laughed. Her experience told her otherwise. Prisons weren't foreign to her. And she had spent some time in Korea. That was a pretty quick way to grow up. And there, she learned to eat an entire meal in two minutes tops. Lest it be stolen by other inmates.
So no, it wouldn't run. She'd have her head smacked into the table and have her food stolen.
"I'm human," she repeated with a soft sigh, putting a shaky hand on the table as she was done, ears flattening against her skull again. She padded the top of her head, before combing her fingers thoroughly through the hair between her ears. And no headband came loose or her ears didn't move accordingly to what one would believe. "I don't," she grunted softly, leaning back in her seat. "Why people are obessed... With it." She shook her head, letting out a breath. "Nanashi," she replied. Literally meaning no name. Akin to John or Jane Smith in more american standards. It basically explained that she had no identity in this land. Therefore, no insurance. She just didn't exist. Either she was a fugitive, an illegal immigrant estranged from their home, or someone running from their own demons.
Gods knew she was all three of the aforementioned.
Ness was happily slurping down her soup while Yeong had finished. She had to suppress another giggle as she insisted that she was human. It was a cute thing, like as if she had 8th grader's syndrome but obviously any paranormal non-human would always try and insist they were human, as part of their ruse, or something. Ness wasn't sure. She hadn't done that type of thing sinnce... Well the 8th grade. Either way, she didn't pay too much attention as Yeong scratced her head. She seemed to not want to be called Neko-chan. That was okay. Then she said her name. Ahh, classic no-identity. So that was the game she was playing. Ness was like... Harbouring an illegal alien now. Well jeez.
She just kept eating soup. What was she going to do now? She supposed that she would at least just finish her soup or whatever. Then maybe she could just call her a taxi. She wasn't going to bother pressing for a "real" name. It would just make her uncomfortable.
"Okay then, "Nanashi-chan"," Vanessa said, miming quotes in the air with her fingers, "Whatever you say. Now if you're done, I'm going to wash up." she said, indicating the dishes before them before she got to her feet and began stacking things up.

A soft, exesperated sigh came from Yeong as she just snorted a suppressed chuckle to her argument. Though she momentarily questioned herself why she cared so much what this woman tought of her. By all means was she still human. When her meal was done, 'Nanashi' sat back. Eyes darting across the room, taking in every small tidbit of information. The smallest detail she tried to remember. She didn't feel exceptionally threatened here. But it was always nice to know which drawer had a knife or a pistol in it. Or where one of the replica katana were kept. Anything that would make for a proper killing device.
Yeong sat back, ears flinching at the clattering of the plates as Nessa stacked them up, flinching slightly as the woman came just a tad too close for her personal comfort. But it wasn't as soon as Nessa got up and left into the kitchen, Yeong sat up and pulled herself up straight. Trying to stand on wobbly feet. She blinked slowly and tried to take some small steps to test the waters, letting out a pained breath. Sure, it hurt. But she at least could walk now. And what better use her refound affinity of walking to check for any possible escape routes and weaponry?
It didn't take long however, before she slumped against the wall to slowly sit down again, panting out her pained breaths for some moments. Before one word in korean was shouted loudly, in anger and frustration.

Ness got to the kitchen, and promptly washed and put everything away. She took a large glass out of the cupboard and took a few sips of water, as she was starting to develop a headache. She took a paracetamol herself, gulping the acrid tasting pill down with some of her water, and looked, alabaster eyes scanning the cityscape outside of her window. After a few moments of drinking in the sunlight, during which time she watered the lillies on the windowsill with some of her water, she heard a thump and figured she had better go and check on Nanashi.
"You're just trouble now, aren't you?" asked Vanessa with a smirk. "I'm sorry, I don't have a cane or a wheelchair or anything to offer you. You're welcome to stay as long as you like, but please don't steal anything, I'm only a shop clerk so I don't earn too much." she said cynically. As if Nanashi could steal anything if she tried. It was strange how nice Ness's apartment was, relative to the amount of money that she made. She herself wasn't exactly sure how she could afford such a premium apartment in such a nice neighbourhood. Maybe there had been a murder or a haunting in here. She did live in apartment number four after all. "But as soon as you want to go I can call you a taxi, though I'm not sure I have the cash if you want to go any further than the Tama area." she laughed again. If the girl actually lived in one of the Special Wards or even just on the other side of the Tama Area Nessa would have a difficult time just funding a taxi trip. Hopefully she would only want to go to Karakura Town or one of the neighbouring wards like Naruki City.

Oh, this woman bet her big ass Yeong was trouble. She looked up at Vanessa, frowning slowly as she still panted softly. A convicted murderer, count of manslaughter, theft, forced entry, manhandling, torture. Back in Korea, her track record was lengthy. But, then again, general populace in Korea thought the raven solstice was dead. Only the underworld still knew of her existence. Hell, she even visited her own grave at times. It was refreshing to know that one mistake would have her end up under the ground. Kind of ironic, now that she thought about it. She gestured at her stitched up belly, before back at Nessa. "As if I could-.. Steal and run," she breathed in pain, thumping her head against the wall to ignore the dull ache of the wound.
She glanced at Nessa, shaking her head with a soft sigh. "No.. Taxi," she grunted in pain, taking a deep breath and just generally being content of resting against the wall for now. "I'll.. Walk," she retorted, eyes sliding shut again. She shuffled to the side slightly, before slumping against the small cupboard next to her, falling asleep again. It seemed this feline woman was quite accustomed to sleeping wherever she could sleep.
