There he was the little shit. Things were about to get even more uncomfortable for Gage. She sensed him from the fact that he had released his fullbring, more than anything else. She could feel the condensed reiatsu and dove towards it fluttering her wings with insane vigor just before she did so. When she initiated her dive she was thirty meters above the fullbringer, and each flap brought her closer and closer. As she dove, she spewed endless poison, the all but invisible particles spreading into the air around her, the air 50m around her already having been filled with poison. She descended upon Gage, ready to engage in hand to hand combat as she dropped from the sky.
She would flip at the last moment and aim a drop kick for the fullbringer's head but realized it would not be effective. Following this she would attempt to kick his face with the other foot, the impact that time being much severer. Following this she would step back five meters before launching into another attack, attempting to grapple him to the floor. All the while the poison would be spreading in the air, more and more coming from her wings, making the air cloying and harsh. Hopefully, soon, its effects would begin to take hold.
{Spoiler}Remember your defensive techs can't be used due to Declarar
Name: Resplandor Class: Reiatsu Control Tier: I Type: Passive Range: 50m Description: Gwen's reiatsu is an unwavering flame, bursting at the seams with overflowing power. When she exerts her reiatsu, the very air becomes dry and hot, and flames lick at Gwen's frame though she herself is resistant to the fire. In a narrative sense (plot), people who use water and ice based powers will find them more difficult to utilise, this translates to this technique acting as a passive defence against those techniques. Also in a narrative (again, plot) sense, people who stay close to Gwen will find themselves dehydrated and likely to suffer from heat stroke. Mechanically, this translates to poisons having a greater effect, and all poisons will act 1 post faster and for 1 post longer for anyone who has been inside the area of Gwen's reiatsu for at least half of the duration of the poison.
Name: Uno Tras Otro Class: Resurrecctión Type: Supplementary Range: Self Tier: III Description: Upon using this techique, Gwen is given a 4x buff or debuff to her natural strength. The effect alternates with every H2H and weapon skill attack she gives, and begins with the debuff.
Name: Declarar Class: Resurrecctión Type: Passive Range: 50m Tier: II Description: Upon releasing her resurrection, Gwen is able to completely negate all defensive or offensive techniques used by or against her- however she may only do this for one type at a time. By declaring the type which will not be nullified, using the words "Agresión" for offensive and "Protegr" for defensive, she can change which tech type will be effective. She may only make one such declaration per post however, and cannot use it to negate a technique which has already been launched. Attacks or defensive techs with a large number of advantages relative to Gwen (4+) will be immune to this ability.
(Defensive abilities are disabled)
Name: Atacante Class: Hand-to-Hand Type: Offensive Range: Self Tier: III Description: The user assumes an offensive stance, where defensive H2H techniques can't be used. All H2H attacks (techniques and regular attacks) have an additional tier III damage component added to them (in addition to their regular damage/effects). Active for 5 posts.
Name: Fuego Purga Class: Resurrecctión Type: Poison Range: 50m Tier: IV-VII Description: When released, Gwen's wings can emit a deadly poison in the form of a barely visible, orange powder. When she flies or is otherwise airebourne, it can be seen falling from her wings. It usually takes 1 post to travel 20 meters, 2 to travel 40 and 3 to travel 50; however if she concentrates for a moment and vigorously flutters her wings, it will travel the 50m in a single post. (Though obviously she opens herself up to attack when doing this.) Anyone who breathes in the poison is infected immediately. Gwen can continue to release the poison for up to six posts with a cool down of double the duration. The effects are given below.
After 1 post: Tears form in opponents' eyes, sense of smell incapacitated, tingling on lips and fingers.
After 2 posts: Intense crying occurs, tingling turns to slight burning sensation; and nausea ensues.
After 3 posts: Crying is coupled with running nose, burning sensation spreads to inside the body. Nausea continues.
After 4 posts: Noserun and tears turn to blood. All of the victims blood causes them an intense fiery burning pain. Their nausea abates at this point, however their core temperature instead starts to rise.
After 5 posts: The burning pain continues, as does the increase in core temperature. Opponents who are much weaker (4+ advanages) might start to pass out at this point. Blood pressure rises exponentially making the bleed from all cuts more drastic; as well as increasing bruising.
After 6 posts: Fever hits maximum. It becomes an ordeal for an opponent to be able to survive such a high temperature, and the pain their blood is causing them is high. Permanent brain or organ damage might ensue at this point even if they do not die. Cuts become far more potent as their blood pressure is very large, forcing even smaller cuts open even more.
The above holds true for opponents with 0 advantages. For each decreasing advantage, they move 1 down the list for the first post, and then progress normally post by post. (e.g. someone with -2 advantages would have "Crying is coupled with a running nose... etc." as the first effect they feel). For each increasing advantage, it takes a post longer for the poison to come into effect (effectively moving 1 post up the list), however regardless of advantages the poison only lasts for 6 posts before the body is able to fight it off/dies, e.g. if a person has +2 advantages they would start to feel symptoms after 4 posts and then the poison would continue for 4 more posts after that, ending on "Noserun and tears turn to blood. All of the victims blood... etc.".
It should be noted that this poison may be reiatsu bursted, however in order to do so, the victim must open a wound and use the burst to force all infected blood out of their system, losing blood in the process and thus doing damage to themselves equal to the tier of their burst minus one.
She gave no respite, her onslaught relentless and blindingly fast. Buzz sawing down from above she launches an axe kick from above, Gage too winded to leap across but his gloves were still functioning at operational levels. Raising his right arm above his head as if he were going to block the kick from above with his arm he is actually guiding a stone pillar from the ground in hopes of intercepting the falling heel. Success, the heel strikes home, the stone pillar buckling under the impact of her leg and the force of her fall. It was good that he did not try to weather that, if he had it would most likely have broken his arm. The stone shatters, crumbling to pieces as a kick from her opposite leg catches him off guard. There was no evading or blocking. It was all he could manage to turn his face away and lean to the right, her leg catching him in the chest up through the collar bone and side of the head.
The imparted momentum was nightmarish, her kick sending him backwards like a soccer ball, tumbling on the ground until he is able to plant his feet and knees on the ground to skid to a halt, a pain flooding his body as if he were on fire. His skin ached, his eyes burned and his stomach began to ache as he started to feel the effects of some kind of poison in the air comparable to crowd control gas. "Oh my," Gage feels a quick surge of coughing take over before he can finish speaking. "What did you do to me?" Reaching up as if he were going to grab her from below Gage uses the gloves to strengthen his Soul Communication, a stone hand the size of a bus leaping up in the same shape as his own mimicking his movements. Hopefully this would be able to grab her so that he could buy himself some time to think of what to do next.
It came with a cost though, the green lines of energy spreading up his arms and crossing over his shoulders. It was like a disease, spreading over his body, coating him in his own energy. At this point though his hand was starting to smoke, the soft sound of sizzling flesh audible if there was not a full fledged battle raging.
If he does make contact with his stone hand however he leaps away, making use of his short lived time. Clapping his hands together he extends his hands out to his sides, a massive rift over head opening in the sky. Blaring though the city the horn of a Tapitz Class battle ship seems to be floating on just the other side of the gate, all the guns facing the Arrancar now on the ground. "Fire for effect." He was not quite blinded but he did not need to see the whites of her eyes to know that these rounds would hit at least close to home. He did something that he did not expect though. He acted before he thought, the energy conjuring the battleship passing through the glove granting him a massive boost in power but at a great cost. He could actually see the glove turning to ash as he wore it, the green circuitry lines fading slowly leaving behind masses of exposed muscle underneath. Once the adrenaline passed this was either going to kill him from shock or from blood loss.
The Battle ship overhead launches a series of three volleys, eight rounds each, all concentrated on the arrancars general location. If it were to strike home, this would either incinerate her or convince Gage that perhaps he is a bit out of his depth.
{Spoiler}Tier III offensive pillar vs your Tier III passive kick Your rank give you +1 but they null out. Both techs are canceled leaving me open for your follow up attack. Poising at Post 2 effects as now he is not in the air tight suit. His Stone hand grapple tech is Wild Communication used in the form of a Binding [Tier VII] As for the bind itself he is mastered in Soul Comm but treats SC as Spec for this tech. You have +1 rank though so nulled but then its a Tier VII.
Also used my Tier VII fullbring attack [+1 advantage from Spec Item creation.]while you are possibly bound. [now that I think about it this could be the thing that costs Gage his arm. He is not supposed to use his FB with the item because it destroys a limb in the process.]
1post left on glove
Name: Artillerie 'Fire for Effect' Class: Fullbring Tier: VII Type: Offensive Range: 75 meters Description: This technique comes in two portions, the creation and the execution. During the creation Gage has to remain still as he conjures a rift in the space, opening to what appears to be another dimension. This alternate dimension's gate appears behind him 10 meters and 10 meters off the ground. The rift itself is 40 meters tall and 100 meters across, opening into what appears to be a wide ocean like landscape. Centered on this location however is a massive metal battleship, designed off the German Destroyer 'Taptiz'. The next portion of the technique is the execution where Gage fires a single green tracer round at a location. Upon impact the tracer is not too dangerous, capable of dealing damage equal to that of a Tier IV without an explosion. However an instant after impact the 8x12.5" barrels all fire in quick succession until each gun has fired a pair of rounds for a total of 16 rounds. Each round travels at Cero speeds and individually deal Tier V damage so if the rounds are spread over a wide location then they may deal Tier V to a wide area. The total blast radius of the impact zones is 25 meters, the many shells drilling a long hold in the ground. Due to the nature of the cannons they are not able to lower below 40 degrees meaning that they are unable to fire on targets that are within 15 meters of Gage. In addition to the cannons there are four 20mm Gatling cannons that fire a beam of rounds at either a single location or engage many targets at once dealing a tier IV damage to each smaller automatic weapons fire coming from several gun placements all over the ship. Only when all the weapons are targeting a single location does this technique deal the full Tier VII damage.
Name: Wild Communication Class: Soul Communication Tier: II-VII VII Type: Varies Binding Range: 100m Description: This pair of gloves is in essence a capacitor, storing energy and releasing it after it has been compressed and cycled through massive amounts of pressure. Any time that Gage uses any of his pre-written 'Soul Communication Style:Offense/Binding' techniques at Tier II they are filtered into this glove. At that point that Tier II energy reacts with the energy created by the gloves and is fired off in a 'Wild Communication' technique that is empowered to the tier of Gage's choosing at the time of casting. This change in strength does not change any of the mechanics of the technique but does raise them to the maximum for the appropriate Tier. Offensive techs of Tier VII dealing tier VII damage or binding techs binding with the strength of a Tier V for example.

Gwen's first kick was blocked by a stone pillar which erupted from the ground, but that was fine. The kick had been weakened by Uno Tras Otro, and as such, the second kick had been empowered, hitting Gage at four times Gwen's natural strength. The connection was solid, and it sent Gage reeling away. She felt the satisfying crack of a broken bone upon impact, and it wasn't hers. Gwen didn't bother pressing the attack, she would merely allow her poison to do its work. Even if he wanted to remove it from his system, it would involve having to deal such a significant amount of damage to himself that he might as well have been dead meat.
"What's the matter, can't handle the heat?" she asked, with a smirk. Her voice was multilayered and crackling in her resurreción, sounding less and less human and more like a horrific monster. However, as she finished her sentence, a huge hand came and grasped at her. Dammit! She struggled and struggled and yet she could not escape at all. She felt herself being alternatively compressed and then the stone hand giving way slightly as Uno Tras Otro took effect, flicking between super strength and weakness with each and every movement she made against it. "Fuck!" she cursed to herself quietly. This wasn't good. She watched him part his hands and... Was that... A Garganta? Gwen took no chances. "Protegr!" she chanted, but it didn't stop the oncoming onslaught. That was right; she couldn't stop an attack already in motion.
She heard him say "fire for effect". That could only mean a bad thing. She felt an enormous surge of spiritual pressure as the canons readied. She pumped spiritual pressure into her wings, making them glow a fiery orange colour. She may have been held by the bind but it didn't make her completely helpless. As the canon-fire rained down on her, she felt herself throbbing with power. Her flesh started to burn as she was incapable of containing the power of the torrent of canon-fire, and she felt herself catching fire. She was unable to unleash the torrent of fire as an offense, due to the limitations of Declarar, and as a result she simply began to emanate fire, her flesh searing and her nerves screaming in pain as she did so.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHH!" she yelled, the sound beyond horrific as she thrashed at the sheer energy that was surrounding her. If Gage dared to look he would see her covered in energy burns, her flesh almost melting off. Her rage began to build as her pain increased, the fire covering her beginning to disperse as she heated the area to incredible temperatures. If the fullbringer was smart, he would run now.
{Spoiler}Name: Declarar Class: Resurrecctión Type: Passive Range: 50m Tier: II Description: Upon releasing her resurrection, Gwen is able to completely negate all defensive or offensive techniques used by or against her- however she may only do this for one type at a time.
Name: Quemar Class: Resurrecctión Type: Offensive/Defensive Range: Self Tier: IV-VI Description: Upon using this technique, Gwen's wings glow a bright orange, and appear as though they have flames coming from them, and absorb all forms of reiryoku attacks directed at them. They create powerful fields which similarly deflect reishi attacks, however do not absorb them. Her fists also gain an aura of fire around them. She may release this fire as a burning energy as part of a physical attack (i.e. a punch), doing damage and setting fire to the opponent. This is able to be "dual-cast" with H2H techniques, however if those techniques incur cooldown the cooldowns stack.
However, she is also able to wait for 4 posts until a large amount of reiatsu has been absorbed by her wings, at which point she can thrust her arms forward, and a stream of burning hot reiatsu, vaguely shaped like a moth, will rush out at cero speed, exploding upon impact with the opponent dealing damage equivalent to the amount of reiatsu she had absorbed up until that point plus the tier of this technique. Gwen is able to control the trajectory of this moth with intense focus. If, during the defensive stage of this attack, she is hit by an overwhelmingly powerful technique that she cannot absorb (+4 advantages), this effect happens immediately, and Gwen sustains partial damage from the technique. As this technique is partially fuelled by the opponents' energy, it is "self-repairing" and thus will always last for its entire duration (unless prematurely triggered).
Name: Fuego Purga Class: Resurrecctión Type: Poison Range: 50m Tier: IV-VII Description: When released, Gwen's wings can emit a deadly poison in the form of a barely visible, orange powder. The fire, the shock waves, the sheer force of the blasts all combined also began to burn away at Gage's own skin. Everything hurt, the expulsion of energy from his body making his body weak and shake. Raising his shattered arm he conjures enough energy to pull one more wall of stone from the ground, the concrete forming half baked with massive cracks and holes from the lack of control in his arm. He had not option though, he had to use his left uninjured hand to hold on the assault, his only option to not kill himself with the blasts being his already broken arm. The circuitry on his right arm glows bright, almost putting off enough light to be visible on the ground around him. The rumble of cannon fire in the air shakes his chest, his teeth chattering.
Then a sharp pain in his right arm, more distinct than anything that he has felt in the ongoing battle. A bone pierced the skin, jutting out mid forearm cutting one of the circuit lines interrupting the flow of energy. Light builds up, growing from a glow to a shine to a small sun in an instant. Then the blast. Gage had never pushed his own Fullbring so far, the energy building to the point where Gage realizes what is happening far too late. It had happened last time too, when his Fullbring reached its pinnacle of power it released a burst of energy so strong that if he had not been with another fullbringer to subdue the energy it would have detonated in his body. He was not ready this time though, the Gloves pushing his fullbring too far on top of the breach in his body now leaking energy like a waterfall.
Pain...Light...It was all he could do to turn and run, the stone wall he pulled up at the last moment crumbling to ashes behind him as he 'Steps' as fast as he can carry himself. Corners, buildings, streets, everything flashes past him in a blur, each step where he stops leaving a massive gush of blood on the ground until the light fades from his eyes. He collapses on the ground, unaware of the damage he has done to himself. He lay there on his back, his chest on his right side flayed open to the base of the ribs. It was as if a normal human had a grenade go off attached to the outside of the shoulder. The entire arm was gone, half the collar bone missing, muscles on the pectoral cut and frayed. The blood pooling around him was growing quickly. At least he would have died in the heat of battle. A good death.
Luckily for Gage, Arata had been "enjoying" the day shopping. Actually, as a matter of fact, Arata didn't much enjoy shopping. And being dragged around by some friends he'd made at the local horicultural group meetup wasn't exactly his idea of a good day but then again what was? But he'd promised to be a little more positive these days, try and get over his depression. Regardless, he'd been perversely relieved when he felt enormous spiritual pressures just a few blocks away. He blinked, and excused himself. It felt... It felt unlike anything he had sensed. One reiatsu had started off as a strange amalgamation of shinigami and hollow reiatsu, but then became pure hollow power. Extrapolation from known information told him that that was an arrancar. An Arrancar that had used their Resurreción here in Naruki city? Something was going down. And the other person, the one it was fighting... Well that too seemed to be almost hollow-like. Two hollows fighting in the city? That was a recipe for disaster. In fact, as he excused himself and stepped several times up a fire escape ladder to get to the building canopy he saw a cloud of dust as what looked like a building had collapsed.
He cautiously approached one of the reiatsus, which was very weak now. Upon closer inspection it was human, but tainted. Weird, eh? It wasn't something he'd seen before, but if the guy was human then he warranted Arata's help. Arata dropped down and saw a trail of blood. God he was going to bleed out at that rate. Arate followed the sporadic puddles until he saw their source. A black haired guy, lying face up in what must have been unending agony. His eyes went wide. What the fuck had happened to him. An arm gone, collar bone missing, it was like something had ripped half the guy's damn torso off.
"Woah there!" Arata called, approaching with a step. This guy truly was on death's door. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to save him. He popped a gikongan. A guy a few years older than the teenage Arata seemed to appear, with a straight bob haircut, wearing shinigami robes. Arata's young body ran for cover, while his soul knelt down and began working.
He would have to try something here that he had only ever read about before. It was possible to combine two kido spells' effects, by combining their incantations. Keikatsu didn't have an incantation but he figured he could also do it with that. This would be the only way to save the man, if he could pull it off.
"May I repair the thread of life, silence all that is strife. Opening Revival. Kaido number 58, Ripea. Kaido: Keikatsu." as he spoke, he drew in his reiryoku and a bright green needle formed in his hand. He grabbed it and used it to pierce Gage straight through the chest. As he did so, there would be a bright flash of light, and the guy would be covered with a green glow. Arata wasn't done there. While that kido did its work, he would cast yet another spell, designed to actually stitch the wounds back together. All in all, this would be a horrifically painful experience for Gage. Luckily, he had lost so much blood that the poison that was in his system was practically all gone now, not that Arata even knew about that. "Ryodo number 30: Tamashii Nuime." He cast, and he gained a wickedly curved white needle in his hand. The previous one had been merely energy; puncturing Gage did not hurt too much and would do no damage. This little one however would be used to literally stitch his body back together, causing him extreme agony.

Pain...hah, pain was not the right word for this. His mind was gone, submerged in an ocean of wreathing pain so vast that he did not at first even notice the pain of an energy needle piercing his skin, the Substitute Shinigami quite literally stitching him together at the seams. That is when the joy of oblivion fades and the adrenaline kicks back in, pain convincing his body that he was not out of danger yet. With that the consciousness returned, the stitching needle stabbing in over and over, dragging his mind back to the surface.
"..aaahhhhHHH!!! GAHH!!! AAAHAAAHHH!!!"Gage's screams pierce the sky like a knife before he was forced to take a breath, his diaphragm working but one half missing lung making the inhalation of air impossible. How was he even alive? All laws of reality stated that he should be dead, the only thing that could possibly be keeping him alive being the surplus of energy that happened to be coming from his newly matured Fullbring.
Stitch...scream...fade into a daydream where he was walking in a park when he was twelve with his dad. Stitch...scream...fade into another where he was sitting alone at a table as his father had to work late on his birthday when he was 9 leaving him with a single slice of cake. Stitch...scream...Gage is standing at the headstone for his father, his recent death still rocking him to the core. Stitch...scream...Gage stands outside of a massive castle camera in hand as he is taking some time off school to travel in Europe. When would the nightmare end? Stitch...Moan...cough...Stitch...stitch...stitch.
Arata watched the guy squirm. He seemed to be rather uncomfortable. That was admittedly understandable. After all, he was, most likely, in a lot of pain right now. But at the end of the day, he had been fighting with an Arrancar. What did he expect would come of this? If he hadn't wanted pain well, Arata expected that he would have been a bit smarter about his engagements. The strange energy burns on his body were also made of his own reiatsu too, which Arata vastly disapproved of. What was the point in him stitching people up if they were just going to go and poke holes in themselves and such? He tutted disapprovingly. Gage's torso would be super weird now, since a lot was missing and Arata was literally just trying to stop all his organs falling out on the road he'd just stitched together all the bits he could. Luckily there was enough bone missing that it kind of worked by some miracle but he'd still had to pull off some of the ribs; the guy could find a healer to regenerate them properly when there wasn't an arrancar nearby who from the sounds of things in terms of reiatsu, was very pissed off.
The kido spells ended and Gage was... Well not good as new but all his skin was sealed over, even if it was horrifically scarred and he appeared to be vastly misshapen. Good enough for Arata to get them the hell outta there.
"Come on, let's get you somewhere you can get some proper R&R." Arata told him, and hoisted the guy to his feet, carrying him to safety if need be.
