Gage's antic awoke Justin from his already half woken state. Wet clothes clung onto Justin's tone frame with an annoyed Justin leaping towards Gage. "The hell was that for!?" Yelled Justin in an attempt to plant both feet into his assailant's chest, however, a still tired Justin only ended up face planting into the wooden floor. Picking himself up Justin sat up onto his knees with hands over his face. "Smart one, that wasn't." He groaned.
"Ok, I'm up, I'm up." Justin complained and grumbled, glancing away from annoyance mixed with embarrassment. Hands slipped inside his pockets. "Ok, so what now, that I am awake?" Justin sighed and closed his eyes, removing right hand to rub his pained nose then winced in pain. "I always end up hurting myself in some way, stupid brain don't shut off at night." Justin slowly ran his fingers through his hair several times so to try and relax himself. He stayed within the confounds of his own mind while listening if Gage had something to say.
At times like this he wished he had a girl to call his own to comb his hair, would be nice considering he loved the feeling although finding someone that liked him was a task in of itself.
"Well you have been sleeping on my counter for nearly a day now so its about time you woke up." Gage steps back, watching silently as Justin falls forward so his face lands ,rather hard, on his wooden floor. "Yeah that wasn't too graceful," Gage pours another cup of water and hands it to the kneeling man, he was most definitely dehydrated and sore so he would need food and water as soon as possible. "Now that you are awake? We need to talk details. First if you are going to work for me I will pay you. Most of the work will be here, doing things around the shop but sometimes I will be sending you out to do an errand for me. All of this pays Minimum wage +35% so you will be getting your own pay. The errands I have in mind are not all safe so they come with bonuses if you choose to follow through with them."
"As for sleep, don't worry, you will be falling asleep from exhaustion after I am done with you," Gage turns and walks back into his shop waving for Justin to follow. The shop in all effects appears to be a Mechanics shop for motorcycles save for a few things that are out of place. Shiny steel ingots under a table. Blocks of wood set beside them and a small wooden box filled with opaque gems. In all it was normal looking. "So first off I guess I need to know what your strengths are. What are you as a person? A fighter? A planner? Do you prefer to talk things out before coming to a conflict? Do you build things?"
Gage pulls out some of his Borocite gems, setting them aside and turning to face Justin for what ever response he would have.
The cup didn't hit Justin when he rolled out of the way, however, the sudden movement caused his right arm to hurt. Oh well, at least he wasn't wet. He snickered at Gage's attempt, taking it more as a practical joke rather than getting butt hurt. "I out'a kick your ass for that." With right arm dangling fingers dug into muscles in an attempt to relax a growing cramp that mixed with pen needles. He looked under the desk for paper towels and whipped up the water with his left arm. Tossing the wet towel and cup into the trash Justin tried moving his right arm, finally getting proper feeling.
" Yo, Gage, got a question. Think you could teach me that trick with manipulating stuff? Like, that seems something we both can do, I think." Justin tried ignoring the tingly feeling of Reiatsu inside his right arm as he focused on a the water inside a water container. Extending right arm Justin placed his left hand over his wrist, focusing on the water inside but green tinted black Reiatsu sparked from his right arm. The Reiatsu jerked back and forth through his arm causing him to fall onto his knees.
Right arm clinched to chest, sweat formed on his face with teeth clinched too. "Damn, the hell was that?" He said painfully.
Gage laughs to himself at Justin's good attitude to having the cup thrown at him. "I would pay good money to see that." He seemed like he was still a bit hurt but nothing that Gage feels compeled to help with. As long as nothing was broken Gage really wasn't too concerned with the wounds, the superficial wounds doing more to build character in his eyes.
"You want to learn how to manipulate souls? You should already know how but I suppose I can give you a few pointers." Gage pulls out a single Borocite Gem, holding it up to the light over head. "First I suppose what do you know about science? You can do tons of things with Soul Communication but in the end all your skills are bound by your general knowledge of the Sciences. I don't want to waste my time here on someone that has no natural interests in it. Soul Communication is like an art. You can always learn to paint but you will never learn to do a real portrait with out some natural skill."
Tossing the gem into the air Gage conjures an orb of fire around it, engulfing it in a white hot light that instantly liquefies the gem. Waving the fire away Gage floats the super heated liquid closer to himself while he closes his eyes and spins the material mid air, green sparks of energy keeping the liquid aloft. Pulling out excess tainted material from the liquid gem he tosses the 'slag' into a nearby metal trashcan while his once fist sized gem is now shrunk down to the size of a marble.
Justin listened with deep interest. The guy certainly knew what he spoke about or seemed. With how weird Soul Communication worked Justin wasn't sure how things happened beyond building a connection then altering like flexing an invisible, mental, muscle. Though based off Gage's teachings Justin's power, their power, involved much more. He scratched his cheek then nodded several times. "So like, these 'souls', this kind'a like that um...Chinese philosophy everything has a life?" Justin wasn't without his thoughts and opinions that were concluded based off internet research. Sadly, with so many different ideas on how things worked it confused him.
Hands reached for black buttons alone his shirt. Shirt unbuttoned then placed at countertop Justin held out his right arm. While doing all this he spoke. "You said you wanted to know what I can do, right? Well, I don't know much about souls, but...gah!" Justin's right eye winced with clinching teeth. The respective arm shook with muscles tensing. "I don't know much about stuff beyond what I've looked up online, and finding anyone who knows about this kind'a thing is difficult, but I do know when I think about something that pisses me off--"
His right arm was absorbed by itself, a black metal that transformed it with his Fullbring now formed. "This is what I can do, punch crap till it can't move." Relaxing himself the Fullbring deactivated with his right arm going limp, held as pain coursed throughout. "But I do prefer talking stuff out beforehand..." he chuckled, scratching his nose in embarrassment. "Ah, sorry if I interrupted ya or got off track, but I thought this the best way, to show you, apart of conversation."
"Yes, I have never thought about that before but you are right," Gage takes a paper cup and goes to fill himself a glass so that he can quench his thirst. "There are probably a thousand ways to describe it, the energy in the air, the 'force', the life in all. Me personally, I like to think that everything has a purpose in life and its that purpose that give something a soul. When an item finally starts to realize its purpose it begins to evolve, the way our fullbrings do, into something much more grand."
Tossing the paper cup into the air Gage flicks a small piece of green Soul Communication energy to it so that it unrolls itself and falls to the ground. "Because we invest so much of our own time and energy into our own Fullbrings I would say that they develop the most but with a little time and care you can create a relationship with everything," the paper cup now a single sheet of paper on the ground begins to fold itself, reforming into an intricate little paper dragon. Flapping its little wings the dragon floats up until it starts to circle the room.
Gage nods as Justin tells him about his own Fullbring and how its powers are triggered by anger, similar to his own but different in a sense. It seemed that Justin's own Fullbring was derived of anger, releasing with his emotion where as Gages did the opposite, releasing a wave of anger with its unlocking. "Well that is interesting," Gage considered this. What was the chance that there were two Fullbringers that both have rage induced or inducing Fullbrings. That was rare as a theme in itself but to find two that are so close seemed too much. "No, no you are fine. It is much more simple to show than to try to tell." Above their heads the little dragon circles before lighting down on Gages shoulder and begins to vigorously chew on his earlobe like a small vicious lizard.

Gage went on about how their power dealt with having some attachment towards objects. Odd as everything sounded Justin more than vaguely grasped what he meant. The complexity was beyond Justin's current understanding however he did grasp what Gage meant. As Gage went on Justin listened, musing over as information settled and he placed his shirt back on. However, Before Justin's first button went through the small hole he looked down. He had a good connection with his shirt, he liked it enough anyway. A small green light surrounded each button and one by one he buttoned his shirt with no hands.
A faint blush formed on his cheeks, embarrassed by misplacing the top few holes and buttons. The mistake was more a common problem rather than lack of control, though was part of his wardrobe malfunction. Using hands he quickly fixed it and hands went into pockets. "That'll be good for today. I'd like to muse over the thing with controlling, connection stuff." True enough Justin needed time to process everything, but as he nodded, hoping Gage didn't mind his slow thinking process, he pointed towards the bird with a chuckle. "I guess even us tough guys like cute things."
Gage smiled and laughed at Justin impressive first attempt at soul communication, the threading of the buttons through the holes being a very dexterous task that he would not have even considered trying with soul communication. "Yes, I think your right. There is a lot there to think about and you can do a lot of this through research on your own time. You just have to find that right topic that Soul Communication seems to match with." Gage watches his little paper creation flit about before he snaps his finger and it turns to flame and ash, the red embers falling to the ground slowly.
"Yeah, well don't let it go to your head. Its not a bad thing to appreciate the smaller things in life. If you don't see the importance in something then how can you ever use it to help you. Now you get out of here, I have work to do and you are just going to get in the way if I have to keep an eye on you when I am charging these," Gage pulls out a stone of Boracite at least the size of his fist and sets it on the table in front of himself, pulling a pair of darkened protective glasses from the top shelf. "I will see you when you are ready and have time. Until then you take care." Gage puts the glasses on and turns to his work space, lifting the stone into the air with soul communication as he charges his right hand with enough electricity to jump start a cruise ship, the light casting shadows on the walls around him.
