Emi shot her sister a quick but noticeable evil glare and then turned her eyes back to the water. For a moment she stared into her reflection and thought of herself, her powers and water. If she were more like her sister maybe she'd use her powers to cause some commotion in the hot springs. Luckily she's not her sister.
She was paying very little attention to the conversation Kyoko and her friend were having, she was already lost in her own world until she noticed her reflection had shifted. The movement of a third arrival stirred the water and she looked up to see another person. 'great more strangers.' She thought to herself.
Shortly after the newest arrival joined in the previous girl had taken off, making that Emi's cue. Standing up she bowed at the blonde woman. "I'm having a lot of fun thank you, but I need to find someone." Emi began to make her way out of the water before turning to her sister.
Thinking about it for a moment she shyly sat back down next to her sister. "I don't know how to find Mr. Seran at all." Emi sighed and sunk deeper into the water, just below head-level.
They really were birds of a feather it seemed, but she was incorrect in calling the guy Beatrice's boyfriend. Her reaction was too cute, almost as cute as the evil glare her sister shot her. "Oh I see, you friendzoned him huh?" Kyoko was ready to use her detective skills to find out just what they were. They were clearly too close to just be best friends. If they were friends with benefits, that would explain everything. She didn't think Beatrice was that type of girl, but who knew when it came to people.
However, she wasn't able to push the issue as the blonde approached them. "I'll catch you later Akahito-san." After saying her farewell, she faced the blond bombshell. Wow, she is gorgeous, she thought to herself. Those eyes, that body, her hair. Ten out of ten. "Yeah, we're doing alright," she agreed with her sister. Kyoko was unaware of her staring. This girl couldn't be real. She was like one of those mail order brides, or something out of an adult movie.
Fortunately, her sister's movement broke her stare. "Seran-sama will come find us when he is ready or we can try to find him later. There's no rush. We do have the whole weekend up here." She moved closer to Emi, pulling her into a hug. "Sorry," she turned to the blonde with a smile. "We sorta have... dates. Emi-chan is eager to go meet them."
Well one of the girls in the group she had approached simply took off, running pass Hikari as if she didn't even exist. The blonde glanced over her shoulder to see that the female was attempting to catch up to Liam whom she'd just parted ways with. A smirk touched her lips as she returned her attentions to the two before them. Emi and Kyoko, sisters it would seem. How quaint. Though what really caught her attention about these two, was the mention of her fathers name. Well now she knew who he was really interested in, though he had said it was only one. She wondered which of the two was his real prize?
"So you're both here to see my father? Interesting." She swam lazily around the two girls, her golden gaze locked onto them, unblinking and unwavering. "What business do you have with him, if you don't mind my asking?" These two were by far the most interactive out of the ones he'd had on file, well Kyoko seemed to be anyways. Her sister Emi seemed to want nothing more than to keep to herself and find Seran. Hikari of course could take them right too him, she knew exactly where he was, but they needn't know that yet. For now she'd speak with them, gain information, entertain herself. "I don't mean to be rude, but you seem a bit young to be here for a date with him, no? You are cute though, I like cute," she said in a slightly teasing voice.
Seran hadn't given her any details at all on these people, all she really knew were their names, so she figured she'd get herself caught up somewhat before moving on to the feature event of the day. There was nothing wrong with a little teaser, right?
Liam didn't say anything to Beatrice for a few moments. Still angrily making his way to his room, it was only when he reached his door did he address the Fullbringer at his heels. "I had come here planning to relax. But now I'm fairly sure I'm not going to get that chance. I'd honestly prefer if you just go back to the spa. This stuff is somewhat personal." Stepping forward into his room, Liam closed it behind him.
....Only to emerge fully clothed, barely ten seconds later. High speed movement was incredibly useful for mundane matters such as that. Dressing oneself, getting to school, cleaning your room and doing house or school work was a snap when one could move faster than the human eye could follow.
Not that Beatrice would see any of that. Unless she more or less kicked the door down to enter the room after him. "I'm going to go talk to someone. And I don't mean to be rude or anything. But it doesn't really have much to do with you. And I'd really advise against getting involved with this nonsense." Of course he doubted that Beatrice would listen to him and go back to the spa. But following him would involve going back towards the more public parts of the resort clad only in her swimming trunks. So it would probably end with her dripping wet in a public space. Unless she left Liam to go get changed. But it certainly didn't seem like the Quincy was willing to wait. Instead he'd march right up to the bar the elder Mod Soul was tending. Sitting down next to Toshi. Looking at Seran expectantly. There was no hostility in his look, but there was certainly some level of coldness in there.
Emi didn't return the hug, merely sat their and pouted. She wasn't feeling this whole "relaxation" bit, and the possibility of training with the amount of people here just seemed slim to Emi. It wasn't the end of the world, Emi had discovered her abilities on her own she could try and train alone, but that would bring unnecessary attention to her before she is ready. Emi shot her sister another quick glare at the mention of "dates," as if she would date any of these kids her age, the boys just now going through puberty and acting even more immature and rowdy. Nobody has time for all that.
Emi broke away from the hug when the other girl began talking again. "Seran is your father?" She was highly skeptical, several things didn't add up. Why would this random girl admit that to two complete strangers looking for him. He looked far too young to have a daughter this old. Finally, his hair is black while hers is blonde. While adoption is always an option he didn't seem the type to willingly give himself responsibilities.
"Our business with Seran is our own, and she was lying about the dates thing." She gestured toward her sister. "Though I don't necessarily believe you, however if you take us to your 'father,' as you said, I'm sure he'd be willing to tell you." Emi did not trust this girl at all, even less than she trusted Seran.
It wasn’t just his imagination. At first Seran had thought the the female voice just an exceptional ventriloquist act, but his senses didn’t lie, and the electrical field given off by the human’s hand was like an entire separate being. Still, it was better to just avoid that particular bag of worms at the moment, what with several normal humans still lurking around the bar. He reached under the bar as though grabbing another cup, instead manifesting a completely new, miniature cup in his hand with black iron. He set the tiny glass in front of Toshi’s “hand”, putting on an exaggerated rich person face and voice as he poured both of them new drinks.
“Now that simply won’t do. A thimble for lady? Honestly some people really have no class.”
Several of the remaining patrons snickered drunkenly, and one of the women clapped the tips of her fingers together. Seran grinned, it was all too easy to entertain intoxicated humans. His smile only grew as he sensed the coming of a recognizable individual. A moment later Liam entered and came to sit next to the Toshi. Several of the plastered chaperones made indignant noises as they noticed him sit, obviously remembering their responsibilities despite their indulgences. Seran waved a hand dismissively at them.
“Now now, there’s nothing that says he can’t sit at the bar and re-hydrate from the springs. You all go back to your drinks.”
Dissolved of responsibility, the adults returned to their talking and laughing. The mod soul returned his attention to the quincy, who was now giving him a slightly sour look. Seran raised an eyebrow, and spoke so only the Liam, and possibly Toshi, could here him.
“You should be careful Liam. You could cut someone with a look so sharp. Hardly an appropriate response to receiving a gift, wouldn’t you say?”
Her gaze shifted from Kyoko and locked onto Emi, the girl seemed hardly trusting of her. Perhaps she needed more practice when it came to conversing with humans and giving off a more trusting persona. From a general deduction Hikari had already concluded a few points about the situation, though were entirely speculation at this point in time. The fact that these girls were on the same list as Liam meant they all had something in common. Liam himself was spiritually aware and being this close to the girls, Hikari could sense the weak but underlying reiatsu emitting from them. Though she wasn't sure if the girls were aware of their own powers. Whether they were or not was probably irrelevant at this point, spiritually aware humans would probably catch Seran's eyes. If they were anything special that is.
"My my, not very trusting are we. I would take you to him, but he's a tad busy at the moment. I'm sure you'll know when he's ready for you."
Should she play with the girls some more? Further agitate the one known as Emi? Perhaps not, she saw nothing beneficial in upsetting one of their guests, but how to have this girl become more trusting was the question.
"Is there anything else I could possibly do to have you not act so cold towards me..."
She paused, a smirk coming to her face. This probably wasn't the least bit helpful, but she couldn't help herself.
"Emi and Kyoko?" She finished off her sentence, with a smile on her face waiting to see how they would respond. If anything she'd either convince them she was related to Seran somehow, or she'd just made herself more suspicious not that it mattered. They'd realize the truth sooner or later, one way or the other.
"Uw- uwo! Toshi, he's cute!" Kasei said, as Liam sat down next to them. Toshi blinked and looked up, unaware that they'd been joined by someone else. He blinked more upon seeing Liam and then jumped nearly off his damned stool.
"UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Hey buddy the hell you think you get off on just creepin' up on people like that hey!?" he asked, Kasei was going cross eyed from the intense arm flailing Toshi was doing at having been surprised by the guy sitting down next to him. He seemed to kinda have a bit of 'tude. Didn't this guy know that he was Toshi "Right Hook Of the Devil" Dunson? The terror if this middle school and all others in the district, as the head punk!? Of course he was now just a dorky Archaeology graduate but that didn't matter. The legends still ran down the halls of the time he split a car in two with his bare fist! He grabbed his drink irritably and downed it while Kasei wobbled slightly on his hand, still slightly cross eyed from having been shaken up so much. The last couple drinks had hit Toshi hard by now. The teachers and chaperones had been slyly encouraging his drunkenness as was not all that uncommon. The surprise of Liam's presence as well as the weird new bartender had sobered him up slightly and Kasei seemed to have employed some devilish trickery since she was almost pert and sober by now, her eyes uncrossed as she sipped from her special cup, looking strangely at Seran. How had he procured such a small drinking vessel?
She turned to Liam who she agreed didn't seem best pleased. The guy was just a highschooler or middleschooler or whatever- he can't have been much older than Toshi when he first manifested her on this left hand of his all those years ago. How did he know the bartender? Actually, Kasei was more suspicious than Toshi, who was after all, rather goofy. She could see all that he saw even when not manifested on his hand and her and her sister (the little sprite that sat upon his other hand sometimes) had agreed that some of those middle school kids looked oddly familiar, oddly like some spiritually aware humans they had met the one time. She was determined to protect the goofy blonde-haired human boy however she could and so keeping a vigilant eye when he had stupidly gotten himself too tipsy to do it himself was merely one of the duties she possessed.
Emi wasn't having this, her suspicion of Seran was slightly lessened due to his relation to Kyoko, but this girl was incredibly off putting. Emi glare was unwavering as the girl circled them. Her condescending tone succeeded in only angering Emi more. She was ready to just get up and leave.
The girl wanted them to trust her, but Emi's first impression of her was already tarnished. Emi rolled her eyes and looked to her sister to gauge her expression. Emi's eyes shot back to the girl when she finished speaking. "You can start by not knowing our names before we tell you." That was it. This girl was freaky in more ways than one and Emi was not having this.
Emi stood up, attempting to look mature and intimidating but failing due to the swimsuit her sister had packed for her. "I have no reason to believe a word you've said, and therefore I'm not going to. I don't like being toyed with." Emi didn't quite understand why she was being so aggressive, she usually ignored people that were teasing her, but those were usually her immature classmates and meant nothing to her.
"I'm pretty sure I can find Seran myself, and I full intend to do so." Emi turned and began to leave the water, not knowing where she was going but she'd figure it out sooner or later.
Listening to her sister go back and forth with the blonde, she could tell just how agitated Emi was becoming. It was good not to be so blindly trusting, Kyoko could learn a bit of that, but it wasn't good to be so distrusting of everyone that you meet. There was no reason to suspect that the blonde was out to get them. Yeah it was a little weird to know Kyoko's name, but if she really was Seran's daughter, then it wouldn't be too hard to understand. Kyoko did say Emi's name, and Seran was in fact waiting for them. Of course his daughter would know about both of them. "Emi-chan!"
Kyoko sighed as Emi got out of the water. "I'm sorry," she apologized to the blonde. "She really is a sweet girl, but sometimes her distrust of people gets the better of her." She took a second to let the blonde respond before continuing. "If you don't mind, could you possibly go get your father for us. I don't think I'll be able to convince my imouto to calm down until she sees him. Tell him that we'll be in my room."
She stood up, quickly making her way out of the water to chase her sister down. "Emi-chan!"
A small boy awoke in this world having began the adventure known as his temporary vacation. While some members of the kidoshu gave a sigh of relief others were annoyed at how quiet Soul Society became with the little trouble maker or trouble finder around.
Not sure on what to do, he felt a bit dirty in his gigai. He had not used it in a long time and it had become all dusty and stuffy. He also noticed the hair had insects living inside it as he wondered why he did not hand it back in to the gigai cleaners in Urahara's shop. To be honest the boy had been to the shop once and saw two kids he thought would get along with him when all of a sudden a weirdo who he learnt was Urahara and a super giant muscle pervert with a suspicious moustache popped up scarring him for life and this had actually ruined one of his previous adventures to the human world.
He had mixed in with some of the middle schoolers as a bunch of strange people passed him by, he did not like the kids section it was too shallow as he roamed around he found two girls leaving what looked like a nice hot spring while some remained and for half a second his heart skipped a beat, then he shook his head and felt it could not be that guy since he had no spiritual power at all. So the boy walked for a bit realising he forgot to get changed. He went to the changing rooms and switched to his boy shorts which were really really short. He might as well have gone in his underwear but that was beside the point. He took a deep breathe of fresh air and ran towards the hot springs pool passed some girl looking like she was going to storm out as she said, "I'm pretty sure I can find Seran myself, and I full intend to do so."
He watched as the other girl called her Emi and being stupid he nearly crashed into the Emigirl as he slipped doing a side flip before splashing into the water as the waves shot up into the air as he nearly hit his head but began to float strangely as he somewhat lost consciousness as he floated slightly side ways with bubbles of air leaving his mouth.
"I was hardly making an effort to hide myself." He shot back at Toshi, raising an eyebrow at his rather over the top reaction to Liam's appearance. Only for it to arch even higher as he saw what appeared to be a ... woman on his hand.
.....That was a new one. He refrained from making any crass comments about how a having a female literally attached to your hand can make nights awkward. Instead deciding to smile and reply back. "Thanks. You're pretty cute yourself." Before facing Seran again, smile melting back into a cold neutral expression.
"I'm not one for games and I have some measure of respect for you. So I'll just be upfront and ask what do you want?" Respect yes, admiration no. The creature in front of him was obviously not human. Now that he had Toshi nearby for a quick comparison, he could confirm that much. But what Liam really wanted to know was what Seran intended by gathering so many people here. It was a reasonable guess to assume that the Mod Soul had planned this. After all, it would be an awfully fortunate coincidence if Seran just "happened" to have a Seele on hand when Liam "coincidentally" was in the same area. The fact that he sent his little doll to fetch him instead of coming himself was certainly annoying. But it was something he could live with.
It would seem that the two sisters were far from trusting at, well at least Emi was and Hikari's toying with her only made the girl more agitated and distrusting. It brought a small feeling enjoyment to Hikari, not that she showed it in her expression. Oh no, her face was one of remorse and apologetic features, with a bit of hurt and confusion thrown in. She would make it seem as if she didn't understand why Emi was acting this way. Her eyes watched as the younger of the two sisters stormed away, apparently set on finding Seran on her own. In this large place, it would prove more difficult than said.
Shortly after Kyoko followed, apologizing for her sisters actions and telling Hikari to get Seran to meet them in their room before disappearing as well. Well once again Hikari was all alone in the water apart from other various guests, but they didn't intrigue her at all. A sudden splash caught her attention and looking over she saw a blonde boy floating on his side in the water. She could see air bubbles, so therefore assumed he was fine and removed herself from the water.
"Well I suppose it is time to go find Seran, it's getting boring here."
She walked back to the restricted areas of the spa to change into something a tad less revealing. A white shirt and a pair of jeans. On her feet she wore white converse. With a quick flash of her hair she turned and headed to the bar where she knew Seran would be. Though she didn't expect one other face that was there, Liam. With a slight smile she walked by him and up to Seran.
"The sisters await you in their room father. They're ready whenever you are."

Beatrice let out a soft snort when he said it was personal. She had half a mind to burn the door down right there and then. She had shared her mind and feelings with him before this. Mostly her feelings about school and home. So he had no right to shut her down on the premise of something being personal. She let out a soft huff as he emerged again. "Y'know. I'm not letting you go anywhere all glum and pissed off like that," she replied as a surge of flame roared down her body, immediatly drying her off, miracoulously, not leaving the slightest scorchmark. Her control seemed to become a tad better.
She gave him a soft glare, before stepping into his room and pulling out a jeans and sweater from his luggage, pulling them on, and trailing behind him as he already wandered off. "Wait up, you dork," she called out as she broke out a light jog to follow him. Ofcourse, his clothes didn't match her size or posture. And they were a boy's clothes, so they did all but fit. Sleeves and trousers too long. Luckily she found a belt buckled to it, so the clothing didn't drop. She let out a soft smirk as he told it wasn't wise to get involved in this nonsense. "Don't forget, I'm your friend," she retorted with a soft shrug.
The small walk had the both of them ending up at the bar.
Beatrice completely ignored Toshi for the time being. He had seen him wandering around school before. He never approached her and she never approached him. She never really took interest in him. A good thing, since he seemed to have quite the mouth. She leaned against the bar, next to Liam, looking away and deciding not to get involved in the current conversation.
She did however, send a sharp glare at Kasei on his hand when Liam called her cute. Point taken, she was small and cute. But yeah. Beatrice felt a tinge of jealousy seeping into her thoughts. With a soft shrug, she looked away again, not emberassed in the slightest because of the clothing too big for her size. When Liam spoke, Beatrice looked at him with a meaningful glance. She might not've been much, but, she was here to support him in any way she could. Her reiatsu was occasionally slipping up, causing a flakker of fire or a gentle spark of electricity against the clothes she was wearing. They'd most likely be charred by the end of the day.
Yaksha entered the hot springs without much ceremony, moving with a sort of primal animalistic grace and speed that brought to mind an apex predator sunning. He entered the room, eyes gazing about to scan the surroundings, to take in the many people already present. Without saying a word, he managed to convey an idea, manged to bring to the forefront of the mind the image of a lion approaching a watering hole, knowing full well it could feed on any of the creatures present, and feeling little real desire to. His shirt was slung over one shoulder, as if he were bringing a towel to the place rather than his actual clothing. His own physique was a stark contrast to Liam's; all lithe muscle rather than sculpted stuff, the kind of physique that said while he wasn't that good at lifting heavy weights, he didn't need to use anything especially heavy to be deadly.
What was it about hot springs? The heat itself, the humidity...a creature that started feeling antsy and uncomfortable at 70 degrees would subject himself to 100 in a heartbeat if there was enough moisture present. And this hot spring was just perfect, the sort of balance that brought to the forefront so many delicious things for Yaksha. He felt like such an animal right now...and he felt like there was absolutely nothing wrong with being an animal right about now. His hair was slicked back neatly, managing to hold even in this humidity, and it seemed to bring to mind nothing so much as a peacock. The sides were smoothed down nearly perfectly, not a single one out of place, plastered down...except in the very back, where a few hours of tugging and struggling with gel had left an effect somewhat akin to the aftermath of being shocked. He approached the bar slowly, his movements revealing the fine interplay of muscles beneath his flesh. He had to hand it to Seran, this body was remarkable. He sometimes spent entire days just being overwhlemed by the taste of toast. Toast, for heaven's sake!
He finally settled into a spot on the bar next to Liam, his shoulderblades flexing and tensing. As he did, the...rather impressive panorama there became clearer. All along his back, starting from the base of his spine and working its way down, there was a long, rather impressively stylized depiction of a snake's tail, coiled around a knife. As he settled and shuffled about, the snake's tail seemed to wave and move in a way that was entirely unsettling to see...and for a second or two after he stilled, as well. But surely that was a trick of the eye, right? There was no such thing as a tattoo that moved. Ink was ink, nothing more.
The snake's tail continued to travel up and around his shoulder, towards his left hand. At the very top of his shoulder, there were a pair of long, impressive looking bat wings coming up from the scale, once more flapping noiselessly when he flexed or gestured, bringing the entire tattoo to life as muscles-surely muscles and nothing more- flexed and tensed and settled to a resting position. As it neared his shoulder, there were a few flowers growing from between the scales, poking up in an eerily beautiful display. It finished at his knuckles, where the snake itself rested, looking on with an incredible sense of malevolence imprinted on its face. Its yellow, slitted eyes were resting solely over two fingers...fingers that lacked any knuckles entirely, simply rounded stubs at the end. As if he had suffered a very impressive and very surgical accident at some point. The third finger had itself been chopped down to the second knuckle, it seemed.
"Seran. I hope your establishment is a little more lax than some others. I swear, I can't even find a place willing to let me soak in the waters as soon as I roll up my sleeve."
He turned slowly, his eyes widening as he took in the man right next to him, as if seeing him for the first time, and surprised at what he saw.
"Holy shit, you're letting kids within 30 feet of the hard stuff. Yeah, I'd say that's lax enough for me."
{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Name: Chameleon Suit Type: Item Range: Self Tier: II Description: The chameleon suit is another standard issue piece of the equipment for members of the alliance. In its base form it is a skin-tight, black jumpsuit that covers the entire body save for the head. Once it is equipped the suit can change shape to any type of clothing the user prefers. The suit also has a built in status system that is linked to the user’s AC. This allows their condition to be monitored by other members or the alliance. The suit tracks heart rate, respiratory rate, body temperature, and can even take a blood sample for analysis if the user is poisoned or any other foreign substance enters their body. The suit also tracks any damage dealt to the body of the user. But the most important function is the stealth mechanism. This mechanism alters the user's reiatsu to fit into their environment. If the user is in the human world, their reiatsu will feel human. If they are in Hueco Mundo, a hollow. Soul Society, a shinigami.
Name: The Black Hand Class: Item Creation Tier: III Type: Item - Body Modification Range: Self Description: The hand of Yaksha, severed in a show of fealty. The limb was infused with black iron and reattached by Seran, causing the arm from the elbow down to be similarly enhanced. The modification, in its base state, appears as Yaksha’s hand, only black and metallic up to the elbow, with the effect fading out up the bicep.
Name: A Tool For All Occasions Class: Reiryoku or similar Tier: I Type: Passive Range: Short Description: Because the arm is assimilated with black iron, it can be transformed in the same manner, taking almost any shape imaginable. The main limit is size, as the the transformations must be equal in mass to the arm. Because this black iron is part of Yaksha’s body, its manipulation is passive, being the same as simply moving arm. Because this is still black iron, Seran himself may also control this limb if he chooses (accepting this item entails OOC consent for this part of the item).
Name: Shigai Type: Item - Standard Tier: V Condition: Not Applicable Description: Shigai are the hollow version of gigai. Manufactured by Seran with his black iron, hollowfied spawning pool, and human blood samples, these bodies can be grown in the lab for use by humanoid Hollows and Arrancar. These bodies allow those races to take a human form and interact with non-spiritual humans in the human world. Being’s using these vessel can use all their abilities while occupying these bodies but they also have a special release mechanism in the chest of the shigai that when turned and pushed down, ejects the being within so they can use their spiritual body. While using this body the user's resistance mastery becomes the same as a human's. In all other ways there bodies behave much in the same way as a normal gigai, including the transfer of injuries taken from the gigai to the spiritual body.
Seran reached over and refilled Toshi’s drink once again. The human was already fairly plastered, but the more he had the less likely he would be to remember or trust his remembrance of Seran’s familiarity with the students. Once the human’s and his…. hand-puppet’s glasses were filled Seran turned back to Liam.
“To be honest there are many things I would like from someone like you. But you mistake my gift for something with strings attached, which I assure you it is not.”
The mod soul’s eyes drifted off to the side and Hikari entered the room and strode casually behind the bar to speak with him. Seran noted her change in clothing, it was good to see she had grasped some of the subtleties of being human. He could only imagine the expressions of everyone there if she had shown up in her bathing suit. Less pleasing was the snake the slipped into the room behind her. The chameleon suit was certainly doing it’s job when it came to Yaksha, but even in human form his presence could only be described as reptilian. Seran watched with annoyance as he seated himself beside liam, even though the humor of the situation was not lost on him: A hollow and a quincy walk into a bar…. adorable.
"The sisters await you in their room father. They're ready whenever you are."
Yet another annoyance, but not an entirely unexpected one.
“Very well.”
He turned to Liam.
“I suppose we’ll have to talk again later. Now go enjoy yourself, that impression is unbecoming of someone enjoying an all expense paid trip to a hot spring.”
He glanced over at the girl who was accompanying him, noting the clothing that obviously didn’t belong to her.
“Perhaps I spoke too soon. I think I see now why you’re so uptight, I obviously interrupted something important….”
A teasing smile spread across Seran’s face.
“Kids these days… I only hope the two of you use protection.”
Not waiting for the love birds to respond to his teasing, Seran turned to Hikari, who currently blocked his path out from behind the bar.
“You’re coming with me my dear. And you!”
He pointed suddenly at Yaksha.
“You’re in charge of the bar, behave yourself. Come and find me once the kitchen closes up for the night.”
Guiding Hikari in front of him, Seran exited the bar, taking the lead as they walked briskly down the hall towards Kyoko and Emi’s assigned adjoining rooms. He stopped before their door, and motioned for Hikari.
After feeling a strange warm taste in his mouth as bubbles were flying out of his mouth he opened his eyes as he sank beneath the water before popping his head up with a light voice going, "Haaaahh!!!" which while loud sounded like a little boy or even girl had just taken a loud and deep breathe in before coughing a bit. He did not fully understand and then remembered he had to be careful of drowning even though he was not really a human anymore, he took a few breathes as his heart was racing before sneezing as he blushed embarrassed before laying forward and swimming inside the hot spring water.
Swimming in a hot spring was not a normal thing since most of the time people would be too big to swim here, he was small though so it did not bother him as he watched the girls who got out and a few of the other visitors there may have noticed him playfully swimming around. He had never gone to a pool often as only his sister would take him, even remembering that time his sister spoiled him and took him to the spa and they got a full body treatment which led to his sister complaining that he had better results then her. He still missed her and thought about her, but he was so old now it did not really matter anymore, he was not sure whether he was around a hundred years old or two hundred years old or if he even reached the hundred years yet.
His cute little feet splashing in the water and his hair glistening as his smooth skin seemed to reflect the little bits of water above in the air as he just came to enjoy himself. He did not smile but he blushed a lot to show how happy he was right now.
It took a little longer to get to their room after someone crashed into Emi. Kyoko assumed it was another one of the younger kids. Just another snot nosed preteen that didn't know how to act in public. It was people like him that reminded her just how advanced Emi was for her age. She did her best to calm her sister, knowing the impending flip out from the short run in. It wasn't an easy task considering how upset she was with the blonde girl. However, she managed to get her to the room where they could prepare to meet with Seran.
"You should change. I don't think you want to distract our teacher with your cuteness."
Even when Emi was mad, Kyoko couldn't help poking fun at her. There was some truth to what she said. If they were to train, doing who knows what Seran wanted of them, Emi definitely wouldn't want to be in her bathing suit. Now that she thought of it, Kyoko decided it would be best for her to change as well, but a knock at the door got her attention. "Coming," she shouted as she ran over. The resort was the best, coming with complimentary room service, or so she thought. Once she opened the door, she was surprised to see who else but Seran.
"Seran-sama," she stated as a questioning greeting. "That was way fast."
Seran would feel something impact the side of his head as he walked away. Nothing meant to cause him harm in any way. Just a small burst of Reiatsu-compressed air. A sign of mild annoyance from Liam at his insinuations that he was up to something indecent with Beatrice.
In the back of his mind he wondered if their species were even compatible in that way. Hollow Reiatsu was poison to a Quincy. While his mixed blood did give him a greater resistance when compared to his pureblood cousins. His Quincy side was still somewhat vulnerable. He lacked the full resistance of a Human or Fullbringer. But at least his soul wouldn't explode from brief contact with Hollow Reiatsu.
It would probably be a bit creepy to just up and ask Beatrice if he could have one of her eggs when it came around to that time of the month. So he put that little experiment on the back burner for now. Besides, if he wanted to do that properly he'd need to grab samples from various different sources.
....Maybe he could just ask Beatrice for some blood later. That was perfectly innocent wasn't it?
"Do I need to worry about your boss doing anything weird to my adorable two Kohai?" Liam asked the newly appointed barman. Now somewhat emulating the image of the responsible sempai he usually showed at school. "Or am I able to get a coke off you and drink it in peace?"
She turned to look away from Seran briefly as Yaksha entered in behind her. Walking as if he were some movie star stud with his hair all slicked back. She giggled a bit at his expense as she found his appearance somewhat funny. She shook her head choosing not to say anything to the hollow as she returned her attention to her father, whom was now in the process of turning the just arrived guest into the bartender. Truthfully Hikari didn't care, it at least wasn't her and something told her she'd have more fun hanging with Seran either way.
She turned and stepped out of his way as he ushered her from the bar and then walked pass her taking the lead, though the young mod soul remained hot on his tail. Soon enough they had reached the room which Hikari presumed to be the sister's room. Upon knocking the door was almost immediately answered and Kyoko was giving her greetings to Seran. Hikari poked her head around him allowing her smiling features to come into view.
"Well don't go and forget about me now," in a joking manner before looking up at Seran. "And is it really necessary for me to stand watch? Who's going to break into a fifteen year olds room?" She asked, almost sounding like a typical teenager.
She pulled her head back and stood straight looking down both ends of the hallway which as far as she could see was empty, but either way she would listen to Seran even after her original objections as she leaned her back against the wall and prepared to get comfy. It was probably best she didn't enter that room right now either way. She had a feeling Emi wasn't probably quite ready to see her yet, her face had a small smirk on it as she remembered the younger sister's innocent reaction to her teasing. Humans were so entertaining, especially the younger ones.
