APPEARANCE
Hiroko has eyes like a cat and skin pale from ages spent indoors, though his skin shows evidence of a roughened, leathery exterior despite the pale fleshy appearance. His hair is the purest obsidian and is highlighted by a scarlet ponytail.
His body is average in height and quite lean, almost to the extent of seeming scrawny. His chin is sharp but his nose dainty. Hiroko could pass as androgynous, with a fair complexion and a constant pleased look on his face.
Clothes are his weakness, to which he commonly avoids wearing formal wardrobe and instead prefers the comfortable casual wear of modern times. Hiroko is defiantly embracing popularity instead of anonymity while serving the Kidoshu.
PERSONALITY
Although quite the slacker, Hiroko is merely a chronic procrastinator with the fault of being a perfectionist as well. As such he is constantly being berated by accomplices for his contradicting actions and words. Hiroko still defends himself adamantly, despite these flaws.
Hatred comes easily to Hiroko, for serving as soldier comes with such a deep understanding of anger as a necessary contributor to survival instincts. Still, he's vigilant and intends to keep a clean nose, distrustful of his most hate-filled feelings towards enemies of the Seireitei.
Loyalty and mercy can oft describe his fighting presence, his efforts focused on interdependence between cohorts to accomplish their greater goals. Most think him incapable of being violent, which is almost true in the sense that Hiroko hates getting his own hands dirty.
HISTORY
Born into a changing world, Hiroko was hardly given time to endure the frozen north his ancestors emigrated from to the propserpous southern lands. He was a babe barely three when cold caught him. It was a sorrowful occasion, but it was a mercy to the boy who would've endured the inquests of religious zealots years later.
Instead Hiroko was born anew into a grandiose world filled with magic and wonder, though mostly it seemed to be teeming with conflict. Dozens of enemies waged wars against the Seireitei, the carnage of which Hiroko grew up learning and bearing firsthand witness to. This is what sparked his intrigue for warfare, his survival instinct.
Yet he was unexceptional with a blade, and could hardly muster a spiritual presence. It took years of refining his awareness before he could even begin flexing his powers. But once his labors bore fruit, he was renewed, and suddenly his purpose began to reveal itself.
Hiroko could project his powers as an external energy source known as reiryoku. It was marginal improvement at first, but then suddenly the youngling would be spreading discord with incidental blasts of powerful reiryoku. It was around then he was enrolled as an academy student. For years he studied, mastering the art of invoking reiryoku into form and purpose.
But his talents with a sword went by unimproved, until years after he was co-assigned to a Kidoshu battalion purposed with unsealing the Sokyoku and allowing the execution of a traitor. Yet this traitor proved troublesome and instead maneuvered so as to have the Sokyoku pierce her bonds and free herself. Most couldn't fathom what she had done before she disarmed one and began dancing through their ranks unchallenged; a loose cannon.
The ensuing skirmish wiped out the lesser combatants, leaving Hiroko and a handful of other invokers. Yet she cut through them too fast, and one by one they fell until at last only Hiroko and one other remained. Hiroko rationalized and made a judgement call to intercept her zanjutsu personally and allow his senior time enough to subdue the culprit once more.
Yet he abandoned the fight, perhaps for reinforcements or perhaps to survive. Hiroko couldn't help but feel betrayed by his comrades and glumly started to come to terms with his fate. Yet this pacifist state of mind awoke something deep within him, a troubled mind at last drawing comparison between itself and its bearer.
Although his powers were unrefined, the release of his Zanpakuto bought enough time for the Gotei 13 to reinforce the position and end the resistance before more casualties could accrue. Hiroko was ridiculed for allowing the situation to progress out of hand, but his loyalty was noticed concurrently.
Since then Hiroko has preferred fighting alone except when allying is necessary, to avoid further embarrassment. Most think down on him due to the complications surrounding most of his duties. |

Description:KIDOU SPECIALISATIONS Eishōhaki (詠唱破棄, "Incantation Abandonment"): is the skill in which a Kidō practitioner skips using a spoken incantation completely, but it drastically weakens the spell. This is applied as a 1-2 tier drop in the spells power depending on ones Kidou mastery, 2 for Beginner up to Advanced, and 1 for Mastered and above. However this also lowers the spells cooldown to match the lowered tier, to a minimum of Tier I.e.g A Tier IV Kidou be cast with Eishohaki as a tier II, its cooldown will also be the same at 0 posts. BATTLE SKILLS Name: Hadō #1 'Shō' (Thrust) Class: Kido Tier: II Type: Offensive Range: Medium (10m) Incantation: Begone from me! Description: Pushes the target away from the caster by a few feet at Bala speed with a small blast of energy directed from an index finger. Name: Hadō #4 Byakurai (Pale Lightning) Class: Kido Tier: II Type: Offensive Range: Medium (30m) Incantation: Broiling black, fervent heat, be rejected! Description: The user gathers high-density reiryoku, which they discharge from both hand. Alternatively, they point at their target with their index finger and generate a concentrated bolt of lighting towards them. It's speed is x.1.5 faster than a Bala, unique to it. Name: Hadō #26 Hidenkō (Red Lightning) ** Class: Kido Tier: III Type: Offensive Range: Medium (15m) Incantation: Raijin, mighty god of thunder! I call upon thee! Lend me thy hate, fury, and anger! Description: A variation of Hadō #4, Byakurai that exchanges range for power, turning the lightning produced red in colour. As the range the caster attempts to use Hidenkō increases, the spell loses potency, becoming totally ineffective past 15 meters. It fires at half-Bala speed. Name: Bakudo #9 Geki (Strike) Class: Kido Tier: II Type: Binding Range: 15 meters Incantation: Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat! Description: Engulfs a target in red light, completely paralyzing them. Name: Bakudo #26 Kyokko (Curving Light) Class: Kido Tier: III Type: Supplementary Range: Self Incantation: Description: Hides the target from sight by bending light. This Kidō can completely mask the presence and reiatsu of the target from detection but if any other combat technique is activated, this Kidou is overwhelmed and broken. Name: Shunpo (Flash Steps) Class: Stepping Type: Stepping Range: N/A Tier: I Description: A movement technique that allows the user to move extremely quickly over short distances. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. Therefore what determines the level of skill in a user for Shunpo is best characterized by how fast one can get from A to B in the least amount of steps. ITEMS REIATSU FEATURES Hiroko's reiatsu is an extension of the current weather, very easily influenced by the natural environment he finds himself in. But it most commonly manifests itself in the form of wind, often quite dry and inducing small static charges which release small static bursts. Neitibukaze STORM ELEMENTAL Hikimawasu |  |
SEALED FORM Neitibukaze's zanpakuto is rather plain with an oblong tsuba and standard katana-length blade. Its hilt is wrapped in delicate navy blue silk and is more appropriately held in one hand than two, with a shallow hilt suited for one-handed combat. SPIRIT APPEARANCE Neitibukaze takes the form of a wolf with two halves colored differently, white and black. He represents balance and his fur shifts constantly with Hiroko's own attitude and actions. It can morph into an astonishingly older looking version of Hiroko, but with an unmistakable case of heterochromia iridis. He is lean and grey in the hair, with animal pelts as his clothing. SPIRIT PERSONALITY Neitibukaze is a docile entity who prefers to let life teach its lessons before trying to tamper with or influence Hiroko's training or beliefs. Instead he meditates on the purpose of struggling as well as the acceptable terms for taking up the blade. INNER WORLD A snow-capped forest canopy of evergreen trees amidst which lies a small tent with a bonfire sitting just outside. There are animal tracks leading around the camp alongside human footprints, and the sky is painted amazing colors by the aurora borealis.
SHIKAI SHIKAI APPEARANCE The sword has curved etchings lining the blade and is elongated, with the hilt growing to accomodate a two-handed grip instead of his casual one-handed stance. The tsuba becomes circular, with an arrow which is drawn towards the direction of strong winds. SHIKAI ABILITIES Name: Kitakaze Senbatsu Jokyo | lit. North Wind Culling

Range: 75 meters
Description: Hacking and slashing at an opponent with great force such that bursts of wind are sent towards a target with the intent of lacerating the surface of their bodies. These gusts of air travel at roughly half the speed of Bala. If they cannot cut their target, they will instead push against them with the sheer forcefulness of these strikes. This technique can be used in rapid succession.

Range: 50 meters (15 radial meters)
Description: By gesturing towards an area with Neitibukaze, the winds will form a protective windy barrier which repels physical objects especially well and other volatile forces sufficiently. This barrier lasts for one (1) turn at its longest before dispersing into subtle winds. These winds travel at Cero speed.

Range: 50 meters (15 radial meters)
Description: Waving towards a target(s) with Neitibukaze can induce violent turbulence aimed towards subjugating those nearby with high pressure winds, forcing them to feebly sink against the environment from the crushing forces. Winds peak at Cero speed. Winds can envelop a target and carry them some distance so long as it remains within range. Persists for one (1) post before winds settle down.

Range: 75 meters
Description: During inclement weather exclusively, Neitibukaze can invoke a potent skewering attack which can only be cast downwards towards a target from midair. It is a burst of wind so sharp and powerful it creates a static charge which pierces towards the intended target at Cero speeds as a bolt of thunderous lightning. BANKAI
