Fuurinji could see everything now, her vision was extended greatly due to her Bankai. When Toshiro took to their defense again, she listened to his words... He told her to go on the offensive, that he would protect them. She could see the two presences behind them, more lunging towards them though she nodded.
"There are more going for the two behind us, they appear pretty weak but be careful Taicho. These things seem to have evolved since Komamaru Taicho's fight with them."
She said, launching herself forward. She used her step to bypass the two coming for them, to allow them to crash into the barrier Toshiro had erected. It seemed this tower could do a lot more than fire cero-like barrages at them, but even so it stood no chance against her. When she got within a mere 30 meters of the tower she let out a loud bird-like screech, raising her hand before slashing down and releasing a massive three pronged reiatsu slash, one equivalent to a tier 7. She had to kill this tower quickly as she could already feel the strain of her Bankai, but even so she wouldn't let herself fall just yet. The attack she unleashed was large enough that, if this tower didn't have a significant enough defense, it'd tear straight through it.
{Techniques in play} Name: Overwhelming power Type: Compressed Buff Benefit: This buff is an incomplete cap left on the compression of power, causing for explosive torrents of reiatsu to surge around the user. This form of ability causes reiatsu sensing abilities to scramble when in the presence of the user, and also gives their overall speed, and strength a 3x boost (not effecting steps). The prime perk of this form is to allow the wielder to release waves of energy with their sword swings of varying power (Power of each would be named on use) and increase the pressure of their reiatsu twofold.
Name: 天来風支配 - Tenraikaze Shihai (Divine Wind Domination) Class: Zanpakuto Spirit (Bankai) Tier: III Type: Passive Range: 50m Description: Tenraikaze Shihai was one of the first technique for Fuurinji to learn from her Bankai and it's the most basic principle for her fighting style. Brute force without Brute Force. Tenraikaze Shihai allows her complete domination over the wind itself, combining her Shikai technique; Flow Detection; with complete control over the wind within a 50m radius around her (centered on her). This means nothing that moves, whether it be a reishi arrow, kido or even a cero, is used without her immediately knowing about it. Only the strongest concealment techniques would be able to hide from her and even those would only make her unable to see them directly. Add to this it also allows her to whip the air itself around and use it as a weapon, attacks done by this deal tier 3 damage.

The tower roared again, this time though it didn't fire another barrage of beams, thank God. "No problem, the name's Jean by the way," he said to the man as they made their way to the other two individuals they had spotted. However before they got too far some movement caught Jean's attention out of the corner of his eyes. He glanced to his left only to see a large group of winged monsters coming at them.
"Oh I think we should probably go a little faster."
Jean picked up the pace and started to run as fast as he could hoping to get away from the winged beasts. Once more he reached out to grab onto the other gentleman as he attempted to teleport out of the way of the kamikaze attacks. When he glanced back in front of him towards where the other two people were they two were being surrounded by the strange monsters. Though they seemed to be having not that much problems getting rid of them. Who were these guys?
As he got closer he could make them out a little better, though one had suddenly moved farther away in a manner similar to Lillith, so he still couldn't see her well, but the other was dressed in the same black garb he had seen the man Lillith killed in. Though he donned a white haori over top of it. Was this man perhaps a shinigami as well? If that was the case, what about that other person.
{Techs}Name: Wavelength Class: Reiryoku/Teleportation Tier: I/III Type: Teleportation Range: up to 100m Description: The user breaks down into energy waves and teleports from one point to another within a 100m all around. The technique is instant up to 50m anything after requires concentration about half a post. At tier III the user can carry up to three people with him though this requires OOC permission.
"Wish we could have met under different circumstances Jean but I'm Grindal," he said as he watched the creature roar before hatching forth multiple creatures from its base. As they arched up into the sky and nosediving directly towards them, the Quincy rose his guns, took aim, and released a small barrage of shots. While he wasn't sure just to what quality of strength these beings had, the projectiles were aimed to try and take out those wings. He hoped it would allow him to slow them down as he turned and followed the boy in running away. As they darted at equal speed, he allowed the kid to grab ahold of his arm as they teleported once again.
This teleportation would take them even closer to the beings in the sky above. A brief gander upwards showed that the shinigami were having a much easier time against the swarm of winged-creatures than they were. Hell, one erected a large ice wall to shield from attacks while the other made a pretty powerful offense against the tower itself. He knew that if they were going to kill this thing, it probably would have be those individuals that would do most of the work. But he didn't want to just be standing there. He had to do at least something. Readying his guns once more, Grindal would provide cover fire. His bullet-like heilig pfeil would launch towards any enemy his sensory perception could detect whether above, to the sides, or directly in front of them.
"Can you do anything outside of teleporting?" he asked, truly curious whether the kid had any offensive ability at all.
The shinigami were a well crafted team, however, their divided efforts would work to their advantage. The ice barrier did stop some spirits in their tracks, and the winged shinigami who had released her bankai reacted and attacked with a powerful strike of her own. The mighty blast of energy easily cut through the incoming spirits, breaking them apart as it continued through, attempting to cut through the tower. A spirit flew in front of the tower, roaring as it produced its own wall of ice that covered a large portion of the tower as the energy blast collided into the barrier. A number of its tentacles began to gather, moving around the barrier as it combined into a large cannon shaped weapon. With a large gathering of energy, it let out a tremendous blast of destruction toward the shinigami pair.
The Quincy and the Human were dealing with their own battle, the Quincy definitely had a better standing for attacking, as shot after shot pierced through the spirits, causing them to disperse one by one. The arrows hitting against the tower, causing an uproar to escape. Retaliating, a number of the spirits began to gather in new formations, striking down arrows as they appear to be getting too close. The tower would respond, firing another barrage of blasts much like the first wave, weaker than the large cannon that it fired at the shingami pair.
NAme: Dangai Malevolence Tier: I - IV Type: Offensive Class: Unknown: Range: 100 Meters Description: Upon its structure, the Dangai tower can spawn a large number of satellite shaped cones attached to the main body, from which a torrent of energy beams equivalent to a hollow’s cero, travelling at the same speeds and at the same size. These barrages can come nearly endlessly, however, the longer they are being fired, the weaker they become, starting at Tier IV and decreasing a Tier level every post it is fired. It takes a post to recharge this attack by one tier level, maxing at Tier IV.
Name: Dangai Catastrophe Tier: VI Type: Offensive Class: Unknown Range: 100 Meters Description:Similar to Malevolence, all the summoned satellites can fuse together to create a cannon in the shape of an RPG Launcher. From this cannon launches a single thin beam of energy travelling at Cero speeds that, upon contact, explodes in a rising current of explosive energy with a radius of 30 meters from the point of contact. - Three post cooldown.

It had seemed as though the initial defensive and offensive attacks of himself and Fuurinji had done their job. Numerous spirits either crashed into the barrier Toshiro erected or became victims of the massive blast of wind-like energy that Fuurinji shot out towards the tower. Though as the blast of energy neared its target Toshiro watched as another spirit stood in its way, liable to be torn in two like the rest, however at the last moment a wall of ice erupted from the creature stopping the progression of the blast. The wall of ice was far too familiar, looking identical to the one that Toshiro had just used to stop the spirits. The reports seemed to imply that the creatures had various abilities ranging from all sorts of races. What if that wasn’t the entirety of it? What if they had all of these abilities because they had seen them before? Were they able to mimic techniques and use them to their own advantage? That couldn’t be true could it…it certainly seemed like it though.
“Stop your attack!” Toshiro shouted over to Fuurinji, “I think they can…”
Before the captain could finish a large blast of energy began to pool at the tower before in shot forward at them from the canon-like protrusion from the tower itself. Whatever this tower was, whatever it wanted it certainly had a lot of unknown elements to it.
“Dodge and defend!” Toshiro shouted.
The captain swung his blade bringing up another ice wall to try and defend from the blast, though at the same time he was weary as to if his barrier would even hold this time with the amount of energy surging forward. Quickly the captain shoupo’d backwards and to his right trying to make some distance between the incoming beam and himself, hoping that if anything the wall was able to slow down the technique enough for his movements to be effective.
It was up to Fuurinji to defend herself or at least use his technique to their advantage and her own. She was a capable Shinigami after all, especially having obtained bankai status so quickly. She would be able to manage this, hopefully though there would be a time to make up a plan, if they were able to mimic moves…what were they supposed to do? It means they could use no techniques without fear of having them used against themselves.
Any strategy the captain had had been destroyed with this new information and now he desperately in such a short time tried to cobble together some kind of plan for the two Shinigami to react on.
Fuurinji's eyes would widen as she 'saw' the spirit move in front of her, and a wall formed in front of her attack. She'd grit her teeth for a moment before her head quickly darted around as though looking from tendril to tendril, before suddenly realizing what was about to happen. Tch, She could hear her Captain off in the distance tell her to move away, to dodge away from this attack.
"FUURINJI MOVE NOW! YOU CAN'T BLOCK THAT!" Came one voice
"Tch! Nonsense! That thing is NOTHING! Now, Show that thing who's boss! Cut it down!" Came the other.
In truth Fuurinji was torn internally as to what she should do, but as she contemplated she noticed the energy building and decided it best to simply dodge. Had she not been in her bankai, she likely wouldn't of been able to react in time as when she shunpo'd away it was just in the nick of time. She panted softly as she reappeared some few hundred feet above where the blast occurred, gritting her teeth. "How dare you..." She muttered softly
"HOW DARE YOU MAKE A MOCKERY OF US!" Her voice, a twisted combination of her own and Sobou Furui Megami no Kaze. A violent torrent of wind whipping itself up around the Shinigami, The fact it seemingly acted so casually in it's defense... Even going so far as to mimic her Captain's own technique. She brought her arm upwards, her entire arm becoming engulfed in a black chaotic storm of Reiatsu. "We'll make you pay for this!" Though it couldn't be truly known who she was talking about... Was it her and her spirit? Or her Captain? Either way, her anger was very evident as she clawed down once more, however this time her blast, being tier 6 in power this time, was aimed at the tendril's themselves rather than the tower itself. Every time she attacked, it became more and more apparent that Fuurinji wasn't about to let herself be pushed backwards, that she refused to simply go full defense like her Captain might've wanted her too.

Name: Major Yin Class: Hand To Hand Technique Type: Offensive. Range: Self. Tier: III Description: Major Yin is the black majority in the yinyang circle, and is an overwhelming evil that is caused with catastrophe or something of similar grandeur. Major Yin as an ability coats the entire right arm with black energy, increasing the punching power of that arm, and also causes everything that it touches that isn't spiritual in nature to rot away and die. When Major Yin is in use, Major Yang and Minor Yin cannot be used.

The question resounded in Jean's mind. Yes he could do more than just teleport. It was just, most of his techniques were useless at this distance. He would need to get much closer to be of any real use and even then, he wasn't sure what he would be able to do.
"From this far away, there isn't much else that I can do."
His powers were more for close combat, and taking down multiple enemies. "If those things land, I could help you rake them out, or if we could somehow get inside that tower and shut i-" His speech was cut short as another blast was fired at them from the tower. Once more Jean reached out in attempt to grab Grindal and teleport out of the way, moving up another 50m should they make it, getting extremely close the to the tower and shinigami now.
"So how about I keep covering you and you keep covering me until we can think of a better plan."
Right now their main focus was to stay alive, they couldn't save anyone if they were dead now could they.

Just as soon as he asked that question, the Quincy watched as the spirits began to change and show new abilities. The wings, the talons, the speed…they all had something in common. They were all qualities that the individuals that were fighting against them showed. But his hypothesis wasn’t entirely answered until he saw one erect an ice wall. “Well Jean, I’d recommend saving your trump cards. I may not know too much about these things, but something tells me they can learn to do whatever we do. Do not do anything that you wouldn’t want to fight against yourself.” The man’s tone was filled with concern. Honestly, how could you fight something that could fight back with the same abilities you yourself displayed?
Grindal kept his rain of heilig pfeil upon his foes. However, when he noticed that they began to bat away some of his projectiles, his focus had to become a tad more generalized on the ones swarming at them. The shinigami above would have to look out for themselves to a degree. That really sucked for them. After all, it appeared their fight was going to be a much more challenging one. That massive cannon shot was terrifying in itself. He would certainly prefer the weaker but far more chaotic blasts as opposed to that monstrosity.
Teleported away from being struck from that wave of energy, the man wondered just how close they could get. If they could get inside, how much damage could Jean do to it? Would it be possible to get the shinigami inside as well? “How far can you teleport?” he questioned. “If we combine our efforts, maybe we can get close enough to find a way to deal more damage to it? I’ll be risky since we’ll be swarmed by those monsters…but we are kind of sitting ducks back here.”
The ominous voice would echo through out the area. Even as the tendrils were cut down by the powerful gust of winds; even as the spirits were being shot down one by one; the end of the realm would be inevitable. The damage was done, the connection was nearing completion, the world was being ravaged. The tower roared out, experiencing the shock of these cuts. The two small pairs were holding off their own, however, they were not able to break through. They've been acting more defensively, with only a few attacks being made against the tower itself. With the world beginning to tremble, the spirits began to pull back, awaiting orders as the tower began to glow bright in ebony light. The spirits climbing over each other, creating a wall that rose higher and higher. The wall of black, making its own defensive stance against the group it was facing.
Tick Tock Goes the World Clock.
The voice echoed again, the tower's roar subsiding finally. It still was not time, so much could still go wrong, there was no chance in risking the purpose of the tower being destroyed. Even if it could not kill those who opposed it, there was one certain way of obtaining victory, and of course, that would soon come to fruition if the individuals did not interfere with the process. The spirits would not engage, the tower would not engage... all there was left was to fulfill it's purpose to it's deity.

Toshiro watched and listened, the loud ominous bellowing coming from seemingly everywhere, but the center point undoubtedly being the tower in front of them. The words themselves meaningless undecipherable to the captain, but it was clear it wasn’t good news for them at all. These spirits and creatures seemed to work in the most basic of measures and at the same time they were able to not use their own techniques, but rather took from those they observed, they were remarkably advanced for such devolved beings and now it seemed as though they were on a time schedule, or at least an even more accelerated one than they already had been. The spirits now took on a different approach, no longer was their assault evident, instead the creatures had retreated and it seemed as though they began to amass building a makeshift wall around the tower. It had seemed as though Fuurinji was right to some extent. These creatures were certainly now just defending the tower, afraid of what might halt their progress. They only needed time now it would seem and the creatures refused to allow the passage of the shinigami in order to defile their plans.
“Wakaba-san. We need to begin our assault now. The tower has taken a defensive stance it would seem whatever they are planning they now are biding their time afraid of what might happen. When all that remains is time all you need to do is stop the attack, not defeat it. We must press hard now, but be wary the creatures seem to be able to imitate us in some manner or so it seems in our short observations I’ve made.” Toshiro shouted preparing himself for the assault.
“Together we attack and breach their defenses, penetrate the tower and stop whatever this countdown is.”
“BANKAI!” Toshiro shouted as the skies above them began to cloud, the feeling around the area would begin to get colder as the captain unleashed his reiatsu more and more into the area.
The urgency of the events at hand had already allowed for the authorization of the limiter seal being able to be unlocked, allowing Toshiro to assume his full power. The ice wings of his bankai forming on his shoulders and back. Although this might help the creatures to some extent, Toshiro knew he needed the power in order to quickly breach through their defenses and create a weak spot to penetrate the tower.
“Follow me!” Toshiro shouted before dashing forward.
The captain plunged his sword into the wall of creatures, penetrating hoping to freeze them in their tracks, it would make it easier to penetrate the wall and provide them access inside. As the ice began to form around where the captain penetrated the wall Toshiro would shout for Fuurinji to follow up with an attack aimed at that spot, to penetrate the wall and allow for them even a brief moment to go further closer to the tower. If they were successful the two would get in closer where Toshiro had his next move already lined up for the tower itself.
Class: Bankai Release Description: If an opponent is stabbed an array of ice crystals form from the tip of his zanpaktou that form around and freeze his opponent.
"It's time...""It's time..." Both of her spirits in unison said to Fuurinji as she took in a deep breathe and slowly released it, taking in the positioning of everything shortly before she heard her Captain begin speaking quickly. He came up with a plan very quickly, and a small smile came across her face as she heard that singular word...
“BANKAI!”
She felt the wind around her, it signaled what both of her spirits were saying. It was time. She awaited for her Captain's signal, and when he charged forward she went with him. 'Seeing' his attack, she reared her arm back and nodded. RIP THEM TO SHREDS! Tenrai Kyanseru Waza!" It was a technique she'd never practiced before, but with luck it'd act to help them. She slammed her arm just in front of her Captain and began to rapidly spin in place, right next to where his ice formed as the wind would whip up around her rapidly, forming a massive tornado right next to the tower. Immediately following it, Reiatsu would begin erupting from her entire body as she combined a wave of destructive power, equal to a tier 7, with her tornado. Name: 天来キャンセル技 - Tenrai Kyanseru Waza (Divine Cancellation Technique) Class: Zanpakuto Spirit (Bankai) Tier: VI Type: Defensive Range: 60M (Duration: 2/Cooldown: 4) Description: Tenrai Kyanseru Waza is Fuurinji's strongest line of defense. Fuurinji spins like a top in place, creating a massive tornado where she stands that is 60 meters tall and upwards of 40 meters wide at the very top. Whilst in this tornado, almost nothing can penetrate it. This causes Fuurinji to be practically immune to damage whilst inside, as this also prevents anything to enter it except via teleportation whilst Fuurinji can still throw things out of it. Because of this, when combined properly it can make her nearly impossible to predict. Once this tornado is in place, Fuurinji no longer needs to spin to maintain it as it's own momentum keeps it going for another 2 posts.
As the voice rang out, Grindal couldn’t help but shiver. His body practically quaked in his boots as he peered out towards the tower. Something wasn’t right. It was planning something. The man noticed this as all the spirits pulled back and a more defensive approach was generated. While he knew his strength probably wouldn’t be enough to really do much of anything, he would not stand still. He had to charge. Assuming that the young boy was frozen in his own fear, the man would have his guns disperse back into the very reishi they were formed out of before grabbing all of his ginto. He had to make a stand. If anything, he could only hope that the boy would wake up to get them both out of the mess.
“Hope you are ready for this,” claimed the man as he grabbed Jean much like how he had done to him many times over this encounter. Flushing with red energy, they would port as close as he could get to the tower. While the kid hopefully defended them against assault, he would throw up all of his ginto towards the tower as he began chanting to unlock the sealed potential held within every single silver tube. “Pierce My Enemy With Godly Rage! VERFOLG!” In that moment, the tubes would explode outwards into multiple large spears as they darted towards their target. Though slightly winded from their simultaneous use, he would leap backwards and grab for Jean so they could get the hell out of dodge.
The combination of all parties attacks was all he could hope would be enough. Who knew just what would occur should that tower complete its duty. Would they all perish? Or would a fate worse than death itself befall them?
{Techniques}Name: Blut Tor [Blood Gate] Class: Reishi Tier: III Type: Supplementary Range: 0m-50m, Any (conditional) Description: By infusing reishi through his body, Grindal will coat himself in a blood-red energy only to disappear and reappear elsewhere. The distance this teleportation takes is completely dependent on the amount of concentration placed within it. If within 50 meters, Grindal (and up to three others) may instantly move to said location. However, should he had made a Blut Pakt with another, he can spend an entire post concentration of locating their presence before teleporting to their direct location. This may not be used to pass through protective barriers, travel to other realms, or allow him to bypass thread tags.

Don't do anything he didn't want used against himself, well that would be a variety of a few things. Jean wasn't sure why but suddenly there was a booming voice, announcing some sort of a count down. At this moment he froze up, his mind pondering what they could possibly be counting down to. Hearing the man he was with begin an incantation Jean looked up to notice the monsters had all withdrawn.
They built a wall surrounding the tower, to protect it from any other outside attacks one would suppose. His golden optics found the two other beings that were in the area as they proceeded to go ahead and try to force their way through the wall. It wasn't long before Jean realized that Grindal was attempting to do the same.
Well, I guess it's about time I pulled my own weight.
"Dance."
The simple phrase seemed to initiate some sort of reaction within the boy as his reiatsu swelled and erupted. His clothing changed taking on the look of robes more than the casual outfit he had on earlier. A dark reiatsu clouded on his hands, though to others it would like black flames. His muscles seemed to be slightly larger and more refined as well.
Immediately upon his release his reiatsu began to secrete all around him for 50m in the form of a gas cloud with him as the focal point. With a clenched fist he thrust forward at the wall as hard as he could with a right straight. The flame like reiatsu on his flared and once it made contact the reiatsu seemed to shoot into, or rather phase itself inside the wall and disperse. Though this was where the fun would really begin. A smile cracked on his lips as the Human launched a barrage of those same exact punches onto the same spot on the wall, that was until he was grabbed by Grindal and they were both teleported away from where they currently were.

This radiation does this by latching onto the reiatsu into the area and then displaying the ability to see it in the form of heat vision in the users minds eye.
Name: Sleeper Gas Class: Release Tier: II/III (tier II atm) Type: Passive/Offensive Range: 50m diameter around Jean Description: Jean constantly exudes his reiatsu as a purple smoky like cloud that spreads around for 50m at half bala speed and makes it hard to see though Jean can see just fine. Within this cloud there are small bits of radiation (these are miniscule in size resembling flecks of dust) released from Jean as well. They remain dormant until given a command by Jean, at which point something similar to a nuclear explosion (though on a much smaller scale) would occur in which ever location Jean wishes so long as it is within range. The explosion will be tier III.
Name: Sadim Touch Class: Release Tier: III Type: Poison Range: Physical Contact Description: Radioactive energy covers Jean's hands making it so that anything he touches breaks down at a molecular level and begins to disintegrate and turn to dust. Upon contact with the opponent Jean forces the energy covering his hands inside the opponent where it attempts to begin to cause the particles holding the body together to enter something similar to radioactive decay, resulting in disintegration. Has a 7 post duration.

It was time to realign the energies. The tower's roar ceased as the golden headdress began to glow brightly. The light eventually engulfed the top of the tower until the beam of light intensified. The light as it connected with the sky, connecting the boundaries between the human realm and the precipice world, which only began to break apart the borders a bit more. The haste of this development was partly due to the opposed forces began to mobilize. The spirits that were being taken down one by one send their information about the individuals to the tower. The creatures continued to form from the tower, everything was starting to come together, everything was coming in order; the only thing remaining was for all three towers to finally be in sync and spread its corruption.
The two shinigami had finally released their bankais. Well, the second shinigami finally did so, while the other had already done so a while ago. It seemed that their combined strength would be the more bothersome team... it was time to act. A voice from behind the duo would emit, a voice much different than from earlier.

Should they choose to turn around, they would see a man with a lab coat, silver blue hair, glasses, and a suit and red tie. He stood atop of the roof, not emitting any kind of pressure; for all intensive purposes, he was as human as they come. The same man would appear upon the quincy and the human on the other rooftop, but floating upon the air.
You two... most people would have ran by now.
The strange lab coated figure floating, pointing at the quincy and the human. They too seemed ready to engage and step things up a few notches, if need be, this individual would react respectively.

A sudden and vibrant light illuminated from the towers crested headdress, suddenly shooting off in a brilliant and awe inspiring move. It was clear that the towers were connecting in some manner as the light seemingly created the breaks within the dimensions to intensify even more breaking apart at the seams. Spirits continued to flow from the tower, they were never ending and the pair continued to cut them down as they spawned. Suddenly though, out of what seemed like nothing, a voice from behind them was heard.

On instinct alone Toshiro had spun around in the middle of the air, jumping back a few feet. The man that stood in front of him was emitting no kind of reiatsu signature, something that traditionally would make one consider him human. Yet at the same time it would be impossible for a simple human to be doing what he was now, addressing them in this situation, addressing them mid-air of all things. His attire was that of a scientist his hair an unusual blue, but otherwise normal. He spoke in a cryptic manner.
“Who are you?” Toshiro spoke his voice cold and without emotion, “What involvement do you have in these towers? Speak now!”

Fuurinji 'watched' as the beam shot up from the tower, Initially she was about to dart up to try and stop it... But then she noticed someone appear behind her and it caused her to whip around quickly, the Reiatsu around her arm flaring up violently. It was obvious to Fuurinji that this tower had to be destroyed very soon, she didn't know what was going to happen if they didn't... But this man that now threatened to stop them made that a difficult task for sure.

She didn't presume to speak out of turn, or to give her Captain orders... However what she said was the truth, based solely off what he said, his method of arrival and the fact that he was attempting to hide his Reiatsu alone was enough for her to know this man was no ally.
It took everything Fuurinji had to not lunge forward and attempt to rip this mans throat out immediately. Her wings seemed to beat on their own without her arms moving, but it would be a mistake to assume she had a lowered guard. She positioned herself in just such a way that if this man attempted to move towards her it'd miss her by just a hair, however if he attempted to go for Toshiro... That would be the biggest, and last, mistake he'd ever make. "Captain, We cannot afford to let this man distract us for too long. We know not what those towers are doing, and the longer that beam is there the worse it's going to get." Fuurinji contemplated it for a moment, but ultimately... Despite her better judgement, she stayed put where she was. Of course, unfortunately for this man the Tornado she'd just whipped up continued to assail the tower.

Jean turned at the sound of the sudden voice behind them. His golden optics quickly discovered the owner of the voice and he took up a defensive stance on the roof. Jean wasn't sure who this guy was or where he had come from, but it just goes to show he had a lot to learn, he needed to pay more attention he shouldn't have been surprised by this man's presence considering he could 'see' everything around him pretty much.
"I could say the same thing to you old man. Who are you, do you know what's going on here?"
He spoke to the man in a neutral tone, not threatening nor trusting. However he wasn't going to just stand there open. It wasn't his style. Not to mention he wasn't sure what was about to happen now that this tower was acting up again, shooting some weird light into the sky.
Jean's muscle size decreased, however the reiatsu he had now decided to concentrate into his speed. He wasn't sure if this guy was a fighter or not, but he'd rather be ready for any situation that arouse. His reiatsu swirled around his feet and slowly rose up shrouding his body like a cloud of purple smoke before it began to spread out at bala speed for 50m all around.
"I'm really hoping you're to help us, but I feel like you aren't." He couldn't shake the feeling that this guy was trouble, perhaps that was reason he was so cautious. Something about this guy just seemed... off.

Focusing around balance in it's entirety, a user of T'ai Chi is taught to follow what he thinks is right and to disallow any imbalance what-so-ever, and that includes to overexertion of yang or good, as too much yin can bring even more yin, or evil, to try to balance the problem. Instead, they are taught that a good equal in everything (including how much) is the way of life.
T'ai Chi's fighting style is almost as brutal as Muay Thai. Acting around acute kicks and punches, the use of T'ai Chi is that of a self-defense martial arts, and holds no bounds in sports outside of bleeding over into movies. A mindset of a master T'ai Chi user is not to intiate fights, but if if one was to require him or her, they would not try to smooth it over with monk ideals. Instead, T'ai Chi's main focal point is equality in everything, and that includes fighting, attitudes, everything.
Lastly, T'ai Chi's spiritual side allows for incredible feats from somebody with spiritual power, as the use of it was to allow all the elements to flow from the user. A user with spiritual energy could literally cause this, but would require training to further achieve this.

Both parties seemed pretty intent to destroying everything; the winged beast girl was especially geared to tear everything and shred him apart. The icy guy, however, seemed more intelligent. The humans were mostly just questioning him, as he had approached them. The apparition that appeared before the two Shinigami ran his fingers over his hair, pulling out a cigarette from his lab coat and lighting one end with a match he grabbed from behind his ear, but not before igniting with a flick of his thumb.
It would take forever to explain what's going on. You see... those towers are not just for show, reality is indeed tearing at the seems. Not to worry though, it will all be rebuild and restored, just with a lot of alterations.
As he took another puff of his cigarette, he lowered his eyes as dangai mass began to collect around both his bodies, forming a misshaped sword of some sorts upon his left hand. The hilt seemed to have no design, as it only served to distinguish how odd it really was. The handle seemed to be shaped to perfectly fit his hand as he gripped it, and finally, the blade had an unneeded amount of bends and curves. He pulled the cigarette from his mouth, and as he did the tower began to roar as he rose his left arm. With another flick, the tower suddenly exploded, the combustion force alone was enough to eviscerate all dangai spirits in the area, overwhelm structures as they too were obliterated in the pulse of the explosive power.
The name's Noble... maybe we'll meet again soon, maybe not...
As he spoke, everything around his blade began to warp, the blade was eating up the space around it. Both Nobles were posed in the same way. The sky was cracking, revealing nothingness, as pieces of reality turned to dust, emptiness, captured... changed... altered...

“Continue your assault, Fuurinji.” Toshiro would speak calmly, his voice cold and distant, followed by a slight nod.
“I have some more to talk about with our guest here.”
Toshiro watched the man, even his attire was interesting, a researcher or scientist of some sort, interesting to remain in that attire even out in the field like this. Whoever…whatever he was certainly it seemed as though he wasn’t human or at least human in the sense of being non-spiritually aware. Toshiro listened carefully as the man being speaking again, giving them information on what was occurring right now.
As he spoke Toshiro remained as he was taking in all the information. However at the same time this man seemed to not give away much information at all. It was clear they were not just for show that something about the spiritual, and now more clearly reality itself was beginning to tear apart at the seams.
“Yes. It seems you aren’t lying about that at least.”
Toshiro watched as the dangai began to form around the man, misshaping and amassing into some kind of crude looking sword. It made Toshiro uneasy to say the least, whatever this man was he certainly was the leader of these spirits or at least their controller. He was able to command them and his power most be stronger than he was even letting on. For the two Shinigami that certainly was not something that spoke in their favor, not in the least.
Then in moments or so it seemed the man raised his arm high into the air and in a solidary snap the resounded reverberations of the tower exploding were felt by all.
“Cover yourself!” Toshiro shouted in Fuurinji’s direction before turning back to the man.
Time and space seemingly bending and ripping around the man. Toshiro instinctively charged out towards the man his blade in hand swinging it out sending icicles out towards the man.
“Who the hell are you? And what they hell are you doing?!” Toshiro shouted his eyes a fierce sense of determination beating within them.
Fuurinji nodded towards Hitsugaya as he ordered her to continue her assault, she gave the new comer a single glance over before using her Shunpo to reengage with the tower. Just as Fuurinji reappeared next to the tower, she heard another loud roar she saw what was about to happen and quickly used her Shunpo to escape the blast radius as her arms came up to shield her from the rest of the blast. She grit her teeth as she turned back to the man, her own Reiatsu sparking up wildly as the black reiatsu that covered her arm once more flared back to life. That's does it...It's time for him to die! Fuurinji couldn't agree more, her dark green reiatsu whipped around her in a rather chaotic fashion as her Captain charged forward at the man. Fuurinji placed her hands together as she began to chant "Ye Lord! Mask of flesh and bone, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, Upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws!" With that said, Fuurinji vanished from her spot and reappeared behind the man, bringing her hands forward "SOKATSUI!" She wasn't the best at Kido, and perhaps something else might've been more appropriate for this situation... But Fuurinji didn't care.
With a massive torrent coming at him from behind, and her Captain in front how this man intended to deal with both at the same time would be interesting to find out. Another issue this man would have is not only tracking Fuurinji, but even hearing her step or anything. Where Sokatsui normally made a rather loud roar there was nothing, her Step carried with it no sound and the sheer vastness of her Reiatsu and the chaotic nature of it rendered Reiatsu Sensing abilities all but inert whilst in her presence. Fuurinji was a deadly opponent to go against, going against her Zanpakuto Spirits however... Not even Fuurinji wanted to do that again.
