Name: Seven Leaves Class: Fighting Style/ Weapon Skill Tier: N/A Type: Supplementary Range: Self Description: The Seven Leaves is a traditional fighting style that was rediscovered by the Lunasinger clan several generations ago. It can be seen in some of the Shinigami’s fighting styles as well as any other samurai based warrior. However the Seven Leaves rely more on finesse, mobility, and precise strikes. Weaving around your opponent to avoid heavy strikes and focusing on accurately striking your opponent. The goal of this school is actually to learn to follow the path of the swordsmanship. A philosophy that encourages honor amongst the sports and even duels between two practitioners while treating each other fairly no matter the gap of the skill.
On a much deeper level, an experienced practitioner taps into their spiritual self in order to coat their blade as if it was a part of their soul. Similar to how a Shinigami infuses their Zanpakutou with their spirit, but nothing as spectacular occurs in this way. It is more of a soothing therapy that the Seven Leaves practice as they become emotionally attached to their blade. Being familiar their sword in every aspect can help any swordsmanship to gauge if their sword is capable of performing the tasks set before them. This kind of training is very similar to how a practitioner of Tai Chi encourages to find peace within their soul. It is a source of meditation to their mind as they collect their thoughts.
Any practitioner of the Seven Leaves can find a place to train. Even without a sword in hand, it is important to know how to properly apply their spiritual side without being consumed sudden waves of anger and sorrow. Meditation is a key part of training aside from asking to duel against other fighters. Most of these duels are official sportsmanship, and these duelists all carry a wooden boken which is a wooden form of a katana. Meaning that there always has to be a sponsor of the fight to determine the winner. Most of these fights are recorded in some form so that the fighters can watch it later on to pick out where they made a mistake. So that way both fighters would know what to train on in order to improve.
