Did that Tickle? [Training]

Should Mella be angry? Some might say yes while others who are more honorable tend to say no and be proud. Mella was indeed proud of Mint, but at the same time a bit frustrated that Mint had flawlessly defeated Mella in literally just six seconds. Nonetheless Mella flashed a smile as she grabbed the bamboo sword and Mint pulled to help Mella stand up on her feet. "See? I told you that you have a strength better than what i can do. Shall we try that again Mint?" The green haired girl flashed a grin before nodding her head in agreement. "Just don't be surprise if I make you fall again."

Mella giggled as she turned around to take position while Mint does the same. Both bow in respect of each other before they both took up their stances. After a five second period had gone by, a silent 'begin!' was issued between them. "Begone from me! Hado #1, Sho!" Mint shouted the incantation of the Kido as Mella could see the energy flying towards her at Bala speeds. However Mella has raised her blade up slightly above her head, before quickly bringing it down with her strength behind it in order to smack the blast of energy downward to the ground. It shouldn't even be possible for something like a bamboo sword to really have any effect on the energy, but Mella actually concentrates her spiritual pressure just like she does for the Oni Headpoke technique. Except she applied that effect onto the tip of the bamboo sword so that the wooden blade would have something of similar effects to knock that surge of energy away from Mella.

However Mella knows that was more or less a fluke and probably won't be able to accomplish that again. "Pierce through the enemy! Hado #3, Shottogan!" Mint pointed her finger over at Mella this time as a hailstorm of energy moving at Bala speed towards Mella. This is certainly a problem Mella is facing, for yes she could do the something as before but Mella would only be able to affect a couple at the most. So instead of trying to tank the Kido, Mella jumps to the left before cartwheeling the rest of the way out. However some of the balls of energy from the spell struck Mella in her attempt to move out of the way. As she now has bruises shown on her left shin and on her right shoulder since the energy tore on the fabric of her uniform. However, during the evasion Mint follows up with another Kido of hers. "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Lock upon yourself with horror and claw out your own throat! Bakudo #9 Geki!" During the incantation being spoken, Mella is following more of a hunch as she knows about the Reiatsu Burst technique. However what if she could destroy the Kido before it even reaches her?

So Mella, through actually mentally going over the Kido class they took before, of how the reiatsu in each spell is vital for the techniques to even function. So what if she could find a way to disrupt that reiatsu to seize its function? Mella pictured herself being surrounded by a wall of reiatsu and also pictured of the process of making this happen. So through concentrating on the reishi that's in the air around them, Mella begins to net the individual reiatsu together like a net until it encases Mella in a seemingly invisible barrier. When Mint had finished issuing the Kido, Mella seemed to be standing still as she is having to concentrate on this technique and is afraid if she moves Mella would lose focus. Having to trust on this barrier, Mella held herself firm and braced for impact just in case if this newly formed technique bears any fruit. There was a flash of dazzling white light as part of the barrier scattered into a red mist like form that was the Geki. The many white fragments of reiatsu was actually attacking the spiritual particles in the Geki as the red mist got slower and slower towards Mella. Just before it could touch Mella however, the Geki dispersed as the attacked spiritual particles lost the connection and canceled out the technique. Mella was just as surprised at this turn of events as Mint was.
